I was trying to make a simple WW2 big bomber formation but keep getting errors when trying to save, which don't make sense to me. Anyone able to see what the issue is here? UPDATE: figured it out, the game did not like me having "Nothing" mission type for the bombers. i changed it to ground attack and it worked null

i actually found a he111 mod after i posted this and tried it out...but unfortunately it isn't compatible with latest version and generated a cube

Anyone know of any German bombers to download? When trying to set up some battle of Britain fun scenarios I found out there weren't any which surprised me. Besides the ju88. Am I missing something?

I just got the Channel map and am looking for some fun missions. I searched on the user missions page and it says there only exists 3 missions. That's a huge bummer. Is it true? User Files (digitalcombatsimulator.com)

appreciate the feedback! i know the main high-res area is more to the East at the moment so I agree we can hope for better mountain/fjord renditions later on after some updates. what sort of water transitions do you mean? -
Flying in the Kola map and noticed the left mirror is very yellow. Anyone else experiencing this?

In flying the other DCS maps I know cliffs have not been a strong suit of the franchise. Having near-vertical terrain projections with high resolution DEM has always been a dream of mine in DCS. With the Kola map being vastly populated by fjords IRL, I'm wondering if this is a thing with this Orbx map? Anyone have first hand experience of how good the terrain resolution is when it comes to the DEM? (when I think of Norway)

i agree! would love a simple mission setup like this with ships, bases, and vehicles spawned around the map to give it some life -
I know this was brought up many years ago, but just noticed it's still a thing: When loading on runway or starting hot, the data cartridge has not been loaded. I feel this should already be done as it's part of the startup process. When I load on the runway everything should be ready to go. Anyone else feel this way?

When I go into the module download viewer in the sim it provdes me with a long list of all of the modules I can install. However there are several outdated ones I don't care about (like Blackshark 2), how can I get rid of these so they don't appear in the download list? To clarify, they aren't installed, but they are appearing as an option to install which I don't want (since they are superseded by newer versions)

interesting, i didn't realize the weapon being used mattered when it came to damage. a hole is a hole, but not anymore! -
How can an AI plane take this much damage and keep on flying just fine? I swear if I get hit even a quarter of this much I'm smoking and coughing up blood. (this fw-190 has been hit with not one, but two aim-9s from my F/A-18)

i'm SHOOKETH. i've never seen such graphics and animations from within the sim like this, not even on the most expensive campaigns. i didn't even know that was possible. way to raise the bar super high! now time to actually play the mission... UPDATE: ouch i crashed and died when trying to get the car crash victim back to the hospital. he must have weighted more than a whale, i couldn't hover for sh*t

Lighting effects are looking mighty pretty these days. Makes for quite a nice, bright target null

ah maybe that's it. i assumes a rocket barrage would make the trees dance as well. the explosions look really big (check out my vid attached)

ah looks like the update wasn't working. normally it checks for update when loading but maybe MT doesn't do that anymore? not sure, but updating now
