  1. Fired up the Huey afterwhile and my favorite key combo (mouse button 2) for cockpit transpose has a red exclamation mark next to it and doesn't work. I tried resetting the command but the red exclamation mark won't go away. Mouse button 2 is not assigned to anything else null
  2. i noticed the CH-47 doesn't kick up dust when on grass like the other helos do. Is this modeled or an issue on my end? null
  3. I recently took out my extra internal SSD from one PC and inserted it into another PC. This SSD holds my DCS World install (very large files). I can't get it to start up, so I ran a repair with the ".\DCS_updater.exe repair" command. However it soon fails with the error "file is not a database". Has anyone seen this before and know what to do? 4. dude, you need to step away from the forums. it's just pages and pages of you arguing every single person for no reason. i'm genuinely worried about you at this point
  5. we can only pray to the ffb gods

    No FFB???

oh man, this is a bummer. guess i should have looked this up before i bought it. i had just assumed it would have ffb like all the other helo modules. I was quite surprised when I finally fired up the bird for the first time and tried to take off: dead fish stick. i don't even think it's flyable now. has anyone else figured out a workaround for FFB2? otherwise she's unfortunately going to gather mothballs in the hanger
  7. I've been playing DCS for many years, and the CH-47F module has hands-down the best texture work and graphics of any flight sim bird I've every flown. Bravo, team! It looks photo-realistic a lot of the time. My mouth is constantly agape

  8. wishlist it is, thanks
  9. ah that makes WAY more sense . thanks for clarifying
  10. having it in fractions of hours seems very odd as most waypooints aren't that far away and won't take you an hour. in most birds, ETE is in minutes. so having it in hours threw me off and doesn't seem very precise. hmm
  11. i thought it was instant trim, but i'll double check, thanks. and I am using a FFB stick (though no ffb on the yaw axis)
  12. Is there a way to use the MMS to mark a point which can then be seen on the HSD and used to slew the MMS at a later time as a PREPT?
  13. When I force trim the pedals by twisting my joystick, I see the little icon move to where I have the pedals, however as soon as I press the trim button the sim then extends the pedals even further (trim location + current joystick twist) which always jerks the Kiowa around and isn't a smooth transition at all. It automatically thinks the trim location is the new center, so everything is now relative to that. The Huey doesn't do that as far as I can tell. Does anyone else encounter what I'm talking about? In the screenshot, the white vertical notch is where I twisted my joystick to and pressed force trim. But as soon as I do that the sim then pushes the pedals even further to the red line which spins the chopper. This isn't how I want to trim, as I want to only move the pedals to the white line. Make sense to anyone?
  14. is the ETE not working? keeps showing me 0.0 UPDATE: ok I did see it show a number sometimes, but it's very low like 0.1. Is this in hours? null
  15. What exactly is the an/alq-144 and how does it work? I didn't see a training module on it
  16. yeah I'm not at an airfield, just in a regular field. it's not possible at all? even as a cheat or key command? no way to repair in-game single player? that's surprising
  17. I've just had a whoopsie and damaged my tail rotor on the Huey. I did an emergency landing in a field. How can I repair my bird without restarting the mission? I don't care if it's a "cheat" or something, I just want to continue the mission. Is this possible?
  18. yeah i'm talking about armament system master switch. only keybinding i see is a special one for a joystick, not a button press
  19. great, thanks
  20. Is there a Grease Pencil Keybinding to move it around besides using the mouse? If so, anyone know what it's called? thanks
  21. would you consider this a bug or a Wishlist item? seems like a pretty important keybinding to be missing: master arm switch
  22. In the B-2 spirit mod: B2_Spirit_block_30 by Fercho 1-1 (digitalcombatsimulator.com) null Anyone know?
  23. Maybe I'm blind but I can't find the pilot master switch keybinding? only ones i see are the special ones
  24. i enjoy the fun effect of a pressure wave effect from munitions, especially watching in slow motion as the blurry shockwave travels out from the center. however I don't see this with the hellfire. anyone else notice this?
