i just got a new rig so am attempting to play without DLSS (using DLAA) and it seems OK. i wasn't sure if sharpening still had an effect this way. but you think it does?

Just reinstalled DCS on a new PC and fired her up and noticed this red explamation mark next to one of my favorite key bindings, transpose camera. I tried clearing the mapping but its still there. No other exclamation mark appears and I can't get it to go away. Anyone know what to do? Trying to bind to mouse button 2 nullnull

ok i updated my OpenBeta to latest version. However the main game folder is still called DCS World OpenBeta. is this supposed to change? how can I tell i'm on the main branch and not openbeta anymore

I haven't flown the Gazelle since the big FM update that also broke the AP. But I'm starting to get back into DCS so was just checking to see if all of the AP functions are restored and working again? thanks

Hello! I currently have DCS OpenBeta 2.9.2.49940 installed on my PC. However I read that it's been merged with non-openBeta, is this correct? If so, how do I go about merging them on my own PC? Are there instructions somewhere? Thanks!

thanks for the reply. this was during the takeoff tutorial. I'll try on some other missions to see if the strange trim is replicateable i'm usually around 100fps (RTX3090) so haven't experiences a low fps issue. trims from all of the other modules are fine at the moment. but good to know

It used to be you had to hold the starter up until you were at 40% I believe. If you let go the engine would spool down. Just recently I went to start up however I didn't seem to need to hold the starter anymore; she just spun up. Is this a known action or is something wrong on my end?

Just started flying this bird today and one of the first things I noticed was that pressing trim up or down seemed to have a random effect on how much trim was actually changed. In the screenshot below, this is the result of a single nose-up trim press (extreme movement). In the next screenshot, I reset the trim to neutral and once again did a single click of the nose-up trim. This time you can see the trim moved only slightly up (much more normal). I assume this must be a bug because I don't understand how this is supposed to be otherwise? Anyone else experience this?

i second this post! just started flying this bird with my trusty Microsoft FFB 2 today, and having good FFB is essential to enjoying a module in DCS. I appreciate the feedback from the developer and hope they can get the info they need to increase the FFB fidelity. you have my support

Just started mission 3 where 1st step you're supposed to land to pick up troops. You're 3rd in line and are supposed to wait until the other chopper clears the pad. Well I got the all clear to land, however the other chopper never flew away, it just sort of hovered and moved at 1 knot until it was hovering off the pad and about to crash into the trees (as shown in the screenshot) Update: i went ahead and left them to and flew to waypoint 2. I saw the gunships orbiting, however nothing else ever triggered; no audio or updates. So not sure what to do now? Update 2: eventually after landing in the clearing i guess a trigger fired and I was able to continue the mission. the gunships and jets came and lit the place up. then i fly home and landed. mission accomplished!

New thing I've noticed, when ejecting flare (testing with Uh-1h) the flare animation looks like it's at a much lower fps (like 15fps) while the rest of the sim runs at a constant 90fps. this is new at least from my end. anyone else notice this?

wondering this as well. i noticed sometimes it jsut startd shaking and I dont know why. it'll happen during translational lift but also when i'm just flying along at like 40 kntos sometimes. and it REALLY Gets shaking. not very pleasant

haven't flown the gazelle in a while so last i heard the autopilot was non functional. has this been updated at all recently? Airspeed/Altitude hold mode removed for further consideration

I started a thread a couple years ago about how, as an example, a powerless p-51 (a glider) caused enough wake turbulence to completely flip a spitfire upside down. and the feedback I got both professional and non-professional pilots all seemed to agree it was overdone. so i turned off the WT setting for a while to see if there would be any updates or changes in the future. so that's why i started this thread to see if there had been any changes. no worries if not, just wanted to check UPDATE: also this thread has feedback from real world fighter pilots also saying that small planes/jets are creating too much WT: All opinion, obviously, but I tend to trust IRL fighter pilot's opinions over my own
