  1. anyone else seeing this crazy graphics texture popping up and flying around the L-39?null
  2. +10 i love the Mossie but it is not fun to fly with my Microsoft FFB2 stick. It's so extremely sensitive and I have trimming issues as well if I try to add curves. I thought I was just going crazy so I'm so glad to see a thread on it. Hoping gets the attention it deserves as the plane is so close to perfect.
  3. indeed, jealous the AI can break the laws of physics.
  4. appreciate you taking the time to respond to all of the posts. cheers
  5. awesome that you're even considering it. most maps don't. this will be very epic
  6. oh i'm sure it will get fixed in the future. i just found it hilarious.
  7. that's a fun trick I hadn't heard of
  8. correct. so probably an AI bug i thought this might be possible as well, however the AI then slowed down, did a 180 degree turn and landed
  9. the epic glaciers sure are furry and fuzzy! null
  10. thanks. and i did try to google first but didn't return anything
  11. So I just hit an Mi-24 with an aim and blew it's tail rotor clean off. However she's still flyin around just fine like nothing's wrong . I'm assuming this is a bug? null
  12. bump. anyone figure this out?
  13. Is there a way when designing missions to have different weather in different parts of the map? For example, stormy on one side of a mountain range and bright and sunny on the other, like real life?
  14. ok. thanks for the info
  15. no i just updated it and got new south atlantic map. wondering if anyone else's looks like this or if it's just mine
  16. My FFB input: I use Microsoft FFB2 and it's still AMAZING after all these decades I've had it (since i was a kid). I love DCS world for doing a decent job of FFB (and extraordinary compared to MSFS2020). I'm flying the JF-17 right now and I love the vibration during the take-off roll. Just that little bit of feedback adds immense realism. Also there's shaking and buffeting when approaching stall speed/AoA which, as an IRL pilot, is how planes actually feels. Bravo! I'm wondering why the F/A-18 doesn't do this? As far as I can tell there's 0 FFB feedback?
  17. Does the new map have seasons? Aka when flying in July/august is there more snow in the mountains?
  18. thanks, makes sense now. except....the $advancedAutoFil graphic on my screenshot doesn't look the same as the one in the video. there's a dollar sign and stuff which makes it looked bugged or something. hmm
  19. kewl
  20. Just updated to latest DCS version and wondering what this $advancedAutoFill feature is?
  21. Just bought this map and curious if any pre-made missions come with it?
  22. UPDATE: figured it out, it was indeed a clibraiton issue. the center position was slightly forward. so even with full trim it wanted to descend
  23. UPDATE: it was, in fact, a joystick calibration issue. The trim part was what was throwing me, but now I don't believe you can actually trim it in flight, just in landing configuration. That's why it worked in other modules, as I could trim the mis-calibration away, but in the Hornet you can't Hope anyone else who finds this finds it useful
  24. I thought that maybe too, however trim should still be working, i use the numpad keys for that. Is the little red cross supposed to represent trim? joystick works fine with other modules, which is strange if it's a joystick issue.
