quick q: I see there's a separate "missiles" category in the ME with just Silkworm, Scud, and V1 launchers.
Is this category just ground-to-ground missiles? and are they all working?
Hello! I used to have a small mod that allows for any plane to be placed in the ME as take off from ground cold. Could a kind soul please point me in the right direction to retreive this again?
Wondering if anyone knew how to install the english cockpit in the saved games folder (what the folder is called?). As you can see someone updated the FW190 D9 mod to made it "saved games folder" compatible. But the folder name has to be exactly precise.
What would the folder name for the 109 K4 be?
how does this mod interact with the latest smoke update?
From changelog:
"Added smoke from vehicles and some static objects based on health, this means as a vehicle takes more damage you may see different levels of smoke giving you a better idea visually if you did any damage on that last run in."
Just found out a new Mirage F1 was released recently (for me): the new F1EE. Can someone point me in the right direction on how this model differs than our other one (F1CE) specifically in the sim?
New to plane, but I've activated the steer button and using rudder pedals but plane won't steer on ground. whats the trick?
EDIT: visually inspecting the rudder pedals, they don't move when i twist my stick. i've confirmed the mapping is correct. is there a way to unluck the pedals? i'm assuming this is why I can't steer
what I did was
1) update to latest DCS
2) load up Normandy 1.0 to check it out
3) purchase Normandy 2.0
4) ? how to upgrade. shouldn't I have to download all of the new assets
I own Normandy 1.0 and Channel map. And after a bit of fiddling I was able to purchase Normandy 2.0 map. However when loading up DCS and going to module manager there is no option to download Normany 2.0.
How do you upgrade the Normandy map after you've purchased it?
I'm confused about these maps. I know the Channel was better and more detailed, however the new Normandy 2.0 map covers the exact same area and uses latest technology. Does that render the Channel map obsolete?
Is there still a use case for it? Help me understand this
i'm speechless! i've never gotten such quick, not only acknowledgment, but actual resolution, from devs so quickly!
i'll be sure to test out the updated shaker when its released and provide feedback.
three cheers for you guys!
