  3. the Jf-17 has fantastic ground roll rumble implemented that simulates what it feels like to takeoff and land at high speeds (the plane vibrates the faster you go). so not sure what "that is not realistic" means. this is what I was talking about, hope that clears things up

  6. Super glad there's decent FFB effects! However in my opinion the violent shaking from simply having the gear down is extremely overdone to the point where i am physically uncomfortable. I think it would be best to tone that down to like 10% of it's current levels. Thanks!
  7. I've followed all of the instructions in the cold & dark tutorial but ran into 2 issues: 1) cannot get ground to remove chocks while canopy is closed. Had to open canopy to get them to respond 2) cannot roll forward when throttle at 60%. i tried clicking the parking brake multiple times, made sure chocks were removed, and moved the throttle all the way up to 100%. from the outside view i can see the front nose strut is indeed compressing under the strain of the engine but nothing will get the plane to roll forward Anyone else ran into issues like these? Update: I loaded the wet takeoff tutorial and was able to roll forward just fine Update 2: apparently you have to twist and push the brake? will try again. think the tutorial needs to be a little clearer on that (or have a trigger that only continues after the brake is 100% disabled)
  8. The controls option window is massive now and takes up the entire screen. I play on an ultrawide so it's even bigger and unwieldy than normal. Is there a way to get the window size back to a normal level? Cheers
  9. Playing around in the mission editor and as far as I can tell the tip tanks have no weight if empty. Anyone else notice this?

  13. I just installed DCS World last week and flown 1 or 2 short missions OK. I just installed the Persian Gulf map, tried to load it up in the mission editor, but it gets to this loading step and never advanced past it. Music is still playing. Anyone else experienced this and knows of a solution? null

    Does this product support force feedback? Either simple or complex?
  15. Great mod! In addition, I'm wondering if there's any possible to way to make the smoke less "fat" and instead longer but skinnier. I have some fires around my house IRL and that's how they tend to look, long trailing smoke tails into the sky. Is there an easy way for me to make that change myself? if so, anyone know which values to change to create this effect? ps. Let me know if I should start a different thread Cheers! null
  16. Hands down best Huey campaign I've played. From the surprise mission objectives and good dialogue and triggers, it really is the complete package. Misty Guam is the perfect 'nam (hey that rhymed!). Hope more campaign builders will take note as this is how fun missions are built. Not too long, not too short, not straight forward, but not ridiculously hard. Cheers!

  17. Was flying around the Marianas today and noticed a strange graphical issue as you can see in my screenshot below. Almost looks like the underwater portions of some of the islands are being drawn. Anyone else notice this? null
  18. Just noticed that helicopters do not create propwash animations over water on the Mariana's map. Has it always been this way?

  23. I have a simple mission set up where I want a two-ship of A-20s to attack a couple ships. They line up, open their bay doors, begin to dive, and then just bail and break away and close their doors. Then they circle around and do it again. Over and over. This happen to anyone else? I want to get them to drop their bombs on the ships, then continue attacking with their cannons.
