  2. Been a while since i have flown the Sabre, I stopped because my stick was bugged at the software level so I just flew the MIG21 and M2K with great success might be a good way to get back in saddle.
  3. I was lucky enough to fly next to her the day before an airshow at IWM Duxford while in the Texan, a beautiful bird it is.

  6. Was doing some testing and it appears that if you drop the RN-28 it will damaged bot player placed units and pre-existing objects however when dropping the RN-24 it will only damage pre-existing objects. Noticeable in the Editor and in servers.
  7. is a good job i know how to start and taxi it because it means i can do some take offs and landings then do some mock dogfights to get used to the gun sights and the go do combat :)
  8. I have noticed the same, however both still work and are noticed in logs for damage when dropped in cities or pre existing objects but not placed ones.

  10. I noticed the same thing, one would think the trigger would be on the pilot stick but apparently not. For context the red covers are on the "Pilot 2" side

Possible in real life but it would require a major overhaul of components and systems not just externally but also in the cockpit, even the difference between a civilian cockpit and the militarised versions in mental. that being said it is easier to have separate models because if not they would somehow have to enable different "layers" when different "loadouts" are selected. It's a lot of coding.
  12. I've noticed that as well, most ww2 aircraft can land on mud, that being said they can land on short grass next to the runways but trying to do a short field landing anywhere out of an airfield is a bad idea as the aircraft bounce as if they were on a farmers ploughed field.

Okay this is getting out of hand, BST have said that should anyone come up with documentation for the AGM-65 for example then they will look into it, yes it would be a different aircraft to the current F-5 we have however it means they are at least willing to add things and are in fact listening, BST will choose what they wish to model based on legally available documents lets just leave it at that. I request that this thread be locked.

  16. I'm not missing the point of the sim, I enjoy flying in multiplayer but what I am saying is that hilarity could ensue with this sort of thing and some servers do not block "illegal" loadouts. As for the fps thing, you say it as an insult also I do enjoy both sims and fps, arma is considered a milsim and people mod that too, it's fun to mod and also to enjoy the base game.
  17. drop tanks usually work but weapons sometimes not however I think that it will work in the Mirage if it can be shown on the pca but i do not have the coding knowledge or skill to do it.
  18. why not? would be cool having aim 9,120s etc as well as Russian ordnance, there is an f5 mod where you drop a lot of bombs of different sizes as well as having overkill drop tanks.
  19. Just wondering if anyone could make a weapons mod for the mirage, i have got as far as using two weapons (aim-7 and 54) as a test however they show up as a visual model but do not appear on the weapons selector and also when mounted they stop the pylons from showing.
  20. Any chance of getting a mirage weapons mod in the future? aim 120,54,9 would be interesting.
  21. Cannot get the Russian med to long AAMs to work either, testing the inner aim 9s now hmm, seems non of the inner pylon stuff works. (gbu 10s and cbu 97s work though) inner smoke pods wont work and the wing tips wont work until inners are not selected on the cockpit weapons selectors. agms make the game crash as well.
  22. Yeah i noticed a crash too, not sure what with though, the IR works well though, just splashed a mig 21.
  23. Yeah i've installed it, strangly i cant get the aim 120s to fire even with radar lock. any suggestion?

    Engine Fires

    Not sure if this is a bug but when i go into the manual and select engine fire as an option on an engine when the light illuminates in the cockpit there is no fire and the engine wouldn't shut down.
