Hmm.... you must always fight at low altitude, because when I try BVR I usually try to get an altitude advantage. Above 25,000 feet I regularly score 30 to 25 nautical mile kills on the AI...

The battle simulator website says they are full time, which would explain the constant sales to generate revenue. Perhaps the reason they switched from Caucases to Normandy for the time being is money? Maybe they need more money and thus went for a map that sells as opposed to 2.5 which is supposed to be free.

2.5 may have been delayed, but the hornet is a seperate team. This isn't even considering all the 3rd party projects that are progressing apart from the ED teams. (Tomcat, Harrier, newer Mirage.)

Forefront? Look I wish Normandy hadn't taken priority for now either... But forefront???? What?!!! What are you talking about? We have 4 World War II aircraft. EVERTHING ELSE, are other eras. We have two maps and two in the works, only one of those is World War II oriented. And out of all of the third-party devs, none of them have produced any of their planned World War II modules yet.... We have as many helicopters as we do World War II planes... So why on earth are you saying that World War II has become the forefront of DCS world?!?!

lol what is this? Where is DCS going? The answer... EVERYWHERE And that's the fun of it..... we will soon have a WWII map with units and campaigns We have 2nd 3rd and 4th gen jets with a growing fleet of them all. If it seems too mixed up for you then you are either playing the wrong missions or playing on the wrong server. As for the improvements listed, they will probably come once we have a stable 2.5 merge.

THIS. I don't own the Viggen but watching bunyap sims videos about it, I honestly was blown away by the cockpit. It looked(s) picture perfect. "Raising the bar" is something i can't honesty imagine. Wether it comes at the early release, or later with updates. The competition might have difficulty catching up! :thumbup: (Well, EDs spit cockpit comes about on par. But still)

I think ED should just integrate the mod at some point. (With the permission of those who have already worked on it of course) Then again I'm no programmer so integrating it could be much harder than I think....

Good grief guys, Cut him some slack! I'm sure if the finished version is significantly better he would consider getting it. But if it's not significantly different, he's simply asking for an option to change the refresh rate. Can you blame a guy for wanting to avoid migraine headaches?! Mocking him definitely isn't the answer. Just calm down and re-read his quotes... I think you are overreacting to what he said. Personally the refresh rate doesn't bother me. I'm sure if it doesn't change much then heatblur will consider adding an option for this.
