  1. Wow! Could you clarify a little? I was thinking of buying some desk mounts to make the warthog with extension more realistic, but wasn't sure if it would be the right height/depth. I might hold off to get yours if they are more adjustable.
  2. Hegykc sorry if I'm asking too much but I think my question got lost in the previous posts, Where are your own bases in your plans currently? I need to know because if they are way after the replacement grips ill just get the warthog and upgrade it with your stuff.
  3. ....... Matt said besides carrier ops.... And yet 80% of posts are about carrier ops...
  4. Hegykc, where is your own throttle/stick base in your plans now? Is that after the grips you have planned? Or do the new grips include that? I'm not talking about the chair mount but the desktop base. (While I am interested in the chair mount too)
  5. Nice, and Lol!!! The title. :D
  6. Oh mabye your right oops
  7. M-2000c is beta and it is pretty fun... And from what I understand EDs modules are a little better in betas than sims of the 3rd party's. So it's just a matter of the particular aircraft
  8. 20? When mainstream video games cost 60 on release? Your saying you think ED could/should afford to sell their high fidelity combat flight sims for LESS than the price of a game?!?!? If you think of each module as its own sim, you'll see why it makes perfect sense... Besides they have frequent sales that drop the prices by a large amount... Sorry for the rant, if you think their prices are high that's fine but I don't see how they could lower them much. EDIT. Oops I see that you were actually saying that the base game SHOULD cost... My apologies.... Take what I said as just my idea of why other people should complain so much about the current module prices lol.
  9. I LOVE this new feature... When you do a flyby it adds a little bit of "shaky cam" that makes it look more realistic Imo. It also makes some camera shots with the cntrl f11 free cam much more interesting. I hope they just add an on/off button in settings for those who don't like it because I'd hate to see it go.
  10. Ya, we will probably have holodecks by the time the raptor is unclassified enough to simulate...
  11. You better have a surge protector... That's all I'm sayin'
  12. If you prefer older air combat that's perfectly fine. But I hope they don't choose not to include any aircraft based on if it's too powerful... This isn't a game that needs balacing, it's a sim that does simulating. And if by some MIRACLE we got the f-22, it wouldn't be unstoppable. At BVR mabye. But in a dogfight it still produces a heat sig. And that's saying a lot for me since I've been a biased raptor fanboy ever since I played f-22 lighting 3 when I was really young.
  13. Love the f-16 but mabye they should work on a soviet fighter like the mig-29 with clickable cockpit after the hornet. DCS has a large community that would like a soviet fighter and unless I'm mistaken the only high level one we have is the mig-21. Again love the f-16 but the hornet would satisfy me, so mabye we should give some attention to those who might prefer more eastern fighters. Remember guys... We are getting the f-14 from leatherneck too. :smilewink:
  14. I agree they shouldn't do it until they have the right info, I was just responding to Aginor saying it would be boring because of the new automatic systems (which we don't have all the details about)
  15. If you are talking about fly-by-wire then it should really just be more maneuverable. As for other systems, usually when something is simplified in a newer aircraft there are plenty of new features that the pilot has to operate. There may be more automated systems, but there would also be plenty of newer/additional tasks that the pilot could be doing as well. Just because the pilot is using more softkeys, touchscreens, and security codes doesn't mean that there would less interesting tasks to preform. I just can't understand saying the raptor would be boring when we have no DCS level sim of it available to the public. And when we don't know all the details of what the pilot can/has to do in combat senarios....
  16. Lol what? What about the f-16 or hornet?
  17. Well besides the obvious one of stealth, the systems details aren't very well publicized, or at least from what I've seen. The f-22 is Americas ace up their sleeve more or less, so ED getting permission might be a problem. I mean if America doesn't want to export it to allies I'm assuming a public sim would be extremely limited
  18. This community is great lol
  19. Quotes like these put me in danger of a heart attack
  20. :lol:Real parachutes use antigravity.
  21. F-16 we might get after the hornet. F-22 on the other hand is classified. Though the real reason that ED haven't done an f-22 is because people like me would never come away from their PCs until they died of malnutrition and then the familys would be trying to sue them and stuff.....
  22. 1.5.4 bugs are now the beginning of confirmed Easter egg!
