I wonder if they are going to add the F mods to the A8 . ATA increase and Weapons . I don't see the point of making an complete F model , when we already have a underpowered A8 that needs attention and needs updating . If they Do , I don't think it will sell . ?? Now if they bring a whole new ball game too change WWII then that will sell . B17 , Me410 .

So I looked at the first photo. What am I looking for. So there is your answer . There is a history of DCS and it's spotting issues it goes years back . It's got that bad some one made a mod so we can all see a 1080p pixel. Many combat flight sims have had same issues but they have made a fix . Zoom in and out and your targets will vanish. Get into combat range and that dot will vanish as it becomes a 3D pixel . Spitfire pilots could see across the channel the Luftwaffe forming up . Real pilots think it's harder to see in DCS than actually sat in their Real cockpit. People don't come here to make things up and cause fuss for attention . We want DCS to move forward with the times . Fast graphics, affordable VR headsets . A New generation that likes to stay in their bedroom .

About time and it's a welcome start trust me . WWII and cold war server's need this . Other flight sims have pulled it off . You know the ones I mean . I'm very pleased it's being worked on. How ever why has it taken ED so long to address this . Looking at this thread there are many compliments from many years ago over certain things that still haven't been addressed.

It's time DCS upgrade the knee board maps . We should be able to move and zoom in and out just like in real life on maps .

Ok took off to fly to target long flight and halfway there Left engine dies , Yet Right engine just keeps going . Feathered prop on left engine . Didn't touch a thing . Yet left engine dies mid channel . So how can right engine just keep flying yet left engine dies . Temps all normal . its Very odd . This is auto start . good take off . and normal flight . 2700rpm . Psi at 7-8 . All Temps well within tables .

Really that's great news I fly VR and DCS looks amazing but I can tell you its got harder too see things That's air targets and Ground targets . I'm sure my eye sight is getting bad . But that's great news . Yes same here I can see at distance but once in combat range they disappear . ED should give people to test this new spotting mod , not just the ED testers then your get a Fair point and view across . I have spent $1000 of dollars on this sim . Let alone the hardware and others have spent way more than me . ED needs to look after its player base . The tide is turning against companies that choose to Dis its customers .

Yes and tonight player base was down to half the numbers . One step forward three back for ED . Not impressed with DCS. Can't believe how quickly they squashed this mod . Yet years of complaining from the community and nothing from ED .

I am mainly doing Auto start . Temps look good within tables , 2600rpm - 2700rpm psi 7 - 9+ in normal flight . The odd full throttle when in combat . I think its when I've taken a hit from The all seeing eye - AAA that the engines are just not making the trip back home . Still testing . Is there any fixes coming or is this dead in the water .

DCS squashed this MOD with in one month with the new patch . You can no longer use this mod . Wow ..!!! a mod was banned that fixed the constant complaints about spotting and target LOD and DCS banned this in one month . Pity they didn't put in the effort so quickly too actually fixing the spotting issues for the community that actually buy their product. Talk about double standards .

I'm trial the mossy now . Find that engine just goes . Temps are good not exceeded 2700 rpm or gone over 9+ psi . Very odd damage. A few hits will cause engines to FAIL easily. This was a very tough plane . Or maybe WWII AAA far to accurate.

There is a save custom snap view . I've managed too save my view looking straight on to gun sight . Needs some tweaking but it works . I just moved my head into position and saved with key bind . Hold the keys for a few seconds. Next time you start DCS your saved view should be there.

Sounds like A6 been sidelined for other projects. This is taking way too long. Even the AI version still not implemented. No sign of A6. Could be with us 2023 .

So the F14 was advertised along with the A6 , this was a selling point for me. Yet still no sign of the A6 intruder in any shape or form . I will not fall for this again. I will no longer buy pre-order.

Thank you for your input . But this is about how DCS has a Spotting issue . Now new patch Stealth blocks that MOD . Very clever and VERY quick of DCS to block this . Yet still waiting for a real solution . Very cheeky DCS .

Ill be honest it feels like on certain runways or weather conditions that the game is trying to catch up while running down the runway its like its warping and you not gaining any speed yet too fast to stop in time . its like the airframe is stuck to the tarmac or grass . This is with M.T.exe .not tried with standard exe .
