Hello everyone, around two months ago my DCS has started crashing without any changes made to my system, other than updating DCS beta versions. Hardware is: I7 6700K 32GB ram gtx 1080 ssd and NVME drives Peripherals are: Virpil T-50CM2 base, F-14 VFX, MFD cougars, TM warthog and cougar throttle, Baur BRD pedals, Simshaker jetseat. External software using DCS telemetry is simshaker software and TacView. Attached are one of the logs, but two more are here on a drive https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/15tktXo03URx_O-i3wXppfcC3oXB5AWRt?usp=sharing After these three crashes I removed my overclock on my CPU, and now the crashes only results in freezes (had two yesterday) and not crashes to desktop. AFAIK the only map that I've had crashes on is Syria, but it's also the only map which I've flow actual missions on. All crashes are in singleplayer. Modules encountered in are: F16, Mi-24 and A-10C II All crashes have been happening in empty missions, mostly without other aircraft and a few with one other AI (for formation training). Found out that when using PP mode and setting elevation it seems to only work when entering meters as altitude. Even when highlighting feet on the UFC, it still seems to enter meters, even though it says feet entered over on the JDAM page. It gives a certain point up above the ground in the hud. My example was target area at 3552 ft elevation. Hud target diamond kept floating above the target, quite far. Then I tried calculating it over to meters and it worked. Hud diamond is now on target and bombs are hitting where they should. This isnt an issue when using TOO mode and the waypoint designate. EDIT crashes with GBU-38

Have the exact same issue. All GBU types tested. Also the AGM-65F doesnt return to boresight with cage/uncaged depress.

Just had the exact same, couldnt drop any GBUs all types tested. Also AGM-65F uncage to return slew to boresight didnt work.

Issue still there for me too...

I noticed this as well, while practicing loft bombing with GBU-12s the other day. It frustrated me so much. I even had issue even designating my waypoint as target again, probably because I was below the target alt, avoiding SAMs...

I have it too. Aircraft tested and found the issue in so far: Spitfire Mustang 109 190 and the Hornet

The issue is only for oculus rift users. Thats why.

Does anyone have any news regarding what to do? Still unplayable in 2.1.. Is there a fix in the works? :/

This other member is me. Yes I have this extreme microstutter. FPS counter still shows high but it becomes unplayable.. Only in 2.1, it appears after a while. Sometimes after a short while (minutes) and sometimes after a long session. Seems like it has something to do with the level of detail. So in demanding enviroment it starts quick and it an empty nevada it takes a while and sometimes doesnt even start.. But one thing is sure, it makes 2.1 unplayable in VR for me. Tried with different nvidia drivers 387.95, 388 and 388.13 nothing helped.. Running 6700k with a gtx 1080 and 32 gb ram and SSD

Hello guys. I recently broke my warthog flight stick by screwing it on the wrong way. Turned out to be an easy fix, but before I realized that, I broke a connector off the PCB and tried a homemade soldering solution. I have not tested if it works, due to being in touch with thrustmaster, but they say the can't provide one of the cables I need. They could only get me a new PCB and female din connector (the top connector which you screw the stick itself onto, which is in my case, pushed down. Easy fix with glue...). Pics are attached And warranty is not covering this, since I bought it secondhand from Switzerland. Does anyone have a spare flight stick or some of the parts I need? BR Jacob

Where are you located? Im mostly interested in the flight stick and the MFDs, since I have a working throttle. I recently broke my base..

I just upgraded from a 390x to the 1070 and I'm not regretting anything. The performance in DCS and SQUAD which are the two games I play the most have increased so much from going with the green team. As the others are saying though, I dont think I would recommend going from a 970 to a 1070. And yes I play in 1080p

How much for the broken base, and what exactly is it that is broken? I recently broke mine so replacement parts are exactly what Im on the lookout for.

Thanks you for the replies guys. I pulled the trigger on the ASUS strix 1070 and it is so good. Huge improvement moving from AMD to NVidia in DCS. Sadly I broke my TM warthog the day after I installed the card so I've Bern somewhat grounded... -_-

So I've decided that I want to upgrade my GPU and go for the green team this time. My question is for which one I should get? The gigabyte G1 gaming 1070 or for the exact same price here in Denmark, the last generation EVGA 980 Ti Hybrid. I know it's only a slight upgrade from my current setup, but this is due to a pretty good deal atm on both cards, and I feel like it'll be worth it for me.

I've flown the first two missions and I'm super impressed and failed the 3rd! Never had so much fun flying the Hog. I'm not a very good Hog driver though so in mission 3 I ran into my knowledge limits. (I just learned reading a 9 line for this campaign :P) Is there any way to get a list of skills that I need to have to succeed throughout the campaign, in order to know what to practice before continueing my playthrough? Sorta like minimum requirements for Hog drivers. Great work Ranger79!

Hello guys, I've recently decided that it's time for me to get a full setup, pedals, throttle and stick. Right now I'm using a T16000M which has served me well for about two years in dcs, but as I've dived into learning the A-10C these past months, I feel like I've hit it's limits.. My question for you guys is: Which setup should I go for? I've already decided to get CH Pro pedals (goes for 125 USD here). So what I'm asking you guys for, is which HOTAS to get. Ofcourse there's the warthog which goes for around 400 USD here in DK (by far the cheapest price, some stores have it for like 550) Then there's the CH Products Fighterstick and throttle which combined goes for around 350 (this is the pedals excluded) I don't feel like going for saitek due to all the bad reviews. And DCS is the main use, though I just purchased start citizen and sometimes fly Il-2 BOS/BOM and war thunder :) Thanks in advance!

Mine does that too, have same card. It's the white light right? Even my motherboard (Asus maximus hero VIII) stays lighted when shut off.

I fixed the issue. I'm pretty sure I had driver issues, with both driver install from a disc and drivers from AMD website. Worked when I clean installed everything in the right order. Now my new rig runs like a charm! :)
