  1. I think this is a nasty 1.5.7 bug... My multiplayer client was giving me the green shield. then I joined and after about a minute I got kicked with the "Tainted" message. Deverium's Gazelle English Mod caused the issue for me. TJ

  3. Just FYI- When I try to replay any of my Round X.67 tracks, I get asked to join a side (red, blue or spectator.) When I replay the older Round X.63 tracks, it works normally. TJ
  4. Anapa is showing 20% health- I called in a bomber. We received "Carpet Bombing Successful" message (not precision strike.) Can we look hard at Anapa? Something must be wrong with it. EDIT: 7/11 @ 11:50am CT TJ

  6. I got up this morning to see that Red had finally captured Krymsk, so Im wondering if we just needed to take a JTAC to find the troops. I have a real sneaking feeling that someone is setting an object to ROE green and hiding it in the building or trees. Can blue try to take Krymsk again today? :) TJ

  10. Just FYI. I wasn't sure if this was in the plans but last night right after server reset I took off from gudata in a tf51d and called in a bomber on Sukamhi. The bomber spawned and caused probably a two second pause in the game felt by myself and another guy in teamspeak. You might want to add the bomber to the list of vehicles parked somewhere.   11. Wouldn't the jtac find them? You don't get a count in real life, so I'd be against adding a counter in the game as long as the JTAC can spot them. How far can enemy troops be from the objective to prevent a capture? What about ROE? If the enemy sets troops in the woods 2km from the farp and makes them green, is that going to prevent a capture?   12. It sure feels like it's every time the Mistral is spawned in. Tough to test when I'm on red. Maybe the blue guys could give it a shot tonight. The only time I ever felt the constant jittery lag was when we had a million blue manpads and sa6s north of Kutasi to help keep red from coming south. You wiped the units and restarted the server and I haven't seen the constant lag since then. If it's the constant stuff you guys want to get rid of, I think we found the limit that night and just need to tweak it from there. TJ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. DL is definitely off. Lag persists. We only had 14-16 people on last night. It was a pretty even 7v7 for the two hours I was on. As I was saying- when some folks did or didn't spawn in a mistral (because we didn't play in five days. Oh, except last night. And we never flew the mistral. Oh except for last night.) we were hit with this 1.5 second long pause. It's almost like when a new model spawns in after a server restart, but it would do it every time someone would slot into a mistral. How'd we know it was the mistral? My fellow air quakers and I would use the scoreboard to check who was flying what when we would either get shot down or shoot others down. My guys had just shot an enemy m2k down and I had just looked at the scoreboard to see who just died and who was in what. I relayed who was just killed and then the lag hit. I asked if others had it. All four people on our TS channel confirmed they felt it. My teammate brought up the Mistral issue on spawn and I took a peak back at the scoreboard to see that two mistrals had just been slotted into the server. About the lag: I will say that besides these two distinct pauses, lag was overall good last night. We had a couple really good merges and no one was complaining about warping or jitters.   15. I dunno what to tell you... It happened once right after the other, right after Hollywood joined. I checked the scoreboard and saw you both in the Mistral. Hollywood had JUST joined the server. I do have an awesome track of a 2 TWB M2k's (Octavio and Ewertsp) merging with two lone wolf RedFors (myself and Harrrvey.) A fun little merge that I might throw up on YouTube tomorrow. It was some fun back and forth until I got Octavio and then Ewertsp got me and Harrvey (with a GUNS GUNS GUNS kill no less!) TJ

  17. Thrud- I can tell you that everytime you and Hollywood spawned in a Mistral tonight that the server took a good 1.5 second "pause." I agree- I dont remember it doing this in the last testing rounds, but I can promise you that everytime you guys spawned in we all got hit hard with the lag. :( TJ
  18. Agreed, but it has to be a balancing act as you need slots too. I hate the three bases in the southeast and I hate the close proximity of the two water bases in the northwest. FARPS should be (in my opinion) where the action is. It puts emphasis on the helo and support role and reinforces smart air to air engagements as you have to fly from an airbase to an engagement.   23. I don't disagree with your logic on steeping into the 7700k. From your first post I thought budget was an issue, but if it's not definitely don't look at the i3. However, I can't tell you enough... stop looking at multithreaded passmark scores. The URL you posted above is to multithreaded CPU passmark scores. DCS only cares about single threaded performance. 16 or 32 cores won't mean squat to DCS 1.5 or 2.x. I3 runs at 2400 passmark on single thread. 7700 runs 2600. Throw AMD out the window if you want to play DCS. The current AMD architecture doesn't aim to have high single threaded performance. TJ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
