I have to continually delete this file... Probably not every time I play, but like once a week. Anyone have any ideas what might be corrupting it? TJ

Another user here - seeing the exact same error in the log. Deleting the settings.lua resolved the issue.

Too frustratingly slow. The setup now (I feel) is a good compromise between giving the helos something to do without requiring hours and hours of practice to pickup a crate and haul it across the map. Anytime you map DCS to a radio push to talk the DCS menu will display. What I'm suggesting is you unmap it from DCS and only map it in SRS. That prevents the DCS radio menu from displaying. TJ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

In SRS map a button to the radio. If you don't want the menu to pop up, unmap the button from the command in DCS. SRS will use either what is mapped in the application or what is mapped in DCS. Hope this helps TJ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'll be honest. I enjoy this version of BF on Nevada. Would I buy Nevada for it? Probably not. Viggen is only red and F5 is only blue. Thus I have to commit to one or the other each round. Not as much fun. There are also crazy stuttering issues. Nothing major but if they happen at a time when I'm low on the deck in the Viggen or chopper, I'm dead. I'd probably wait. Agree completely. But then why do we have the A10A and not the C? I'd much rather have the C and restrict its loadouts. The clickable cockpit makes it worth it in my mind. But the server admins made the decision to stay with the A. TJ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I haven't flown red in two weeks or so. This last time the map was dominated they didn't reset colors, so it's been awhile. However, I can distinctly remember getting QNH settings for an airbase we were attacking. I dunno if any thing has changed since then, so take this with a grain of salt. It's an issue with 1.5.7. Not much Cribob can do unless they gut the mission. We are all hoping for a fix. While Nevada is pretty cool, I miss the su27, ka50 and a10c. TJ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thoughts on moving ctld.JTAC_smokeON_RED (& BLUE) to FALSE? The smoke really gives away that a JTAC is being used in the AO. Im all for a tac commander getting into the JTAC and firing smoke away, but automatically smoking the target its lasing just lets the other side know to start searching for a hmmwv. Im really curious what REDFOR thinks about this as I have no idea how (or if) the SU25 can use a JTAC lase. TJ

Looking for some help with Air to Air in Viggen I am not an A2A expert by any stretch of the imagination. 1) You were in a high g turn with way more speed than your opponent and the missile couldn't turn in on the target in time. It "veered" after it had past the target and lost the heat source. If you have a tacview of this battle it would be neat to look at. To see if the missile did in fact "veer" after it past the target. 2) again. High g turn, I think the missile couldn't turn in on the target and "veered" after it past the target and lost the heat source. This could also just be bad luck... In those high g turns, try to lead your target. When you are behind them (like #2) try to wait for the turn to die down just a bit before firing. Just my two cents. Take it for what it's worth.
