As already mentioned, jettison dial to "stores" and hit the jettison key. Personally I have the Jettison Stores bound to a button, along with the jettison. Works a treat.

	There certainly is.

Good spot. The 118 bounced through to blades of my Mi8 yesterday

Virpil CM Grip and TM Thrustmaster grip now both sold, my thanks for that.

[Suggestion] reduce number of built-in kneeboard pages
Mr_sukebe replied to Thamiel's topic in Bugs & Problems
Can that remove the default pages? Thamiel. I have already asked if it was possible to have the KBs as a tickbox "option", but they didn't seem to like that idea. -
Note: this is NOT related to an issue with DCS, though it could certainly be creating one. I've just booted my PC, and opened Oculusdash. I couldn't help but notice that OculusDash.exe is using circa 80% of my GPU resources (i.e. it's processing power, NOT it's VRAM or rendering capability). If that's true, that's going to be severely impacting available GPU resources for DCS. Anyone else seeing this? I've already raised an issue to Oculus on their website. https://communityforums.atmeta.com/t5/Get-Help/OculusDash-exe-very-high-GPU-usage/m-p/1198302#M306838 Edit: have just tried using SteamVRLink, and that's reporting as being even worse, i.e. at 90%. I'm assuming that those GPU numbers can't be right.

If you need glasses to drive, then chances are they’d help in flying in VR. Don’t try to use a set of glasses that you might use for close up reading. Been there, done that, doesn’t work. My opinion is to use lens inserts, which are IMO far more comfortable and avoid the potential that lenses in glasses have for scratching the lenses in your Pro (did that on my CV1).

***Updated, 24th July*** Having a bit of a clear out of gear that I'm currently not using. Free - Oculus Rift S - Boxed, but very well used and really needs a new set of padding for the headband. Must be collected £160 - MFG Crosswinds - Now sold £160 - Virpil Mongoose T50 throttle - Can be posted £40 - USB button box - one of these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/256366203883?itmmeta=01HZ1KRCKNDKNR27Y16BTYWRRM&hash=item3bb09dd3eb:g:ZWEAAOSwpMNesxWI All of the above work fine. Postage is £6 for the USB button box and £15 for the T50. Happy to post within England, Scotland and Wales. Please do NOT ask if you're outside of those countries. If you wish to collect, I'm in Surrey, which clearly would avoid postage costs. Any questions, please do ask.

=weird!=Random performance drops episodes in VR - unflyable
Mr_sukebe replied to Bojanglez's topic in Game Performance Bugs
Have you taken a look at any of the VR optimisation threads? -
	There is.

=weird!=Random performance drops episodes in VR - unflyable
Mr_sukebe replied to Bojanglez's topic in Game Performance Bugs
You’re saying that you’re got your graphics nearly maxed out in VR, and then wonder why you’re having performance issues? my suggestion is to go have a scan at some of the VR optimisation threads, which have some great advice -
Again, my thanks guys. Very much appreciated
 -
That really is weird. Will be trying that out later today.
 -
Thanks chaps, hadn’t realised that. Time to rework my custom loadouts

I see that the centre tank carries nearly the same amount of fuel as a pair of wing tanks. Any thoughts about the pros and cons? My initial “guess” is that maybe the centre has slightly lower drag and might roll faster as it’s closer to the centreline. Haven’t done any testing yet. Using the centre prevents carrying bombs under the fuselage, which might be preferable for delivering bombs one at a time to avoid trim issues. Thoughts?

As mentioned, my guess is that it’s a combination of how many USB devices that you’re using AND how many possible commands could you bind. Basically you’re looking at a matrix of one multiplied by another. I’ve no idea why it’s so CPU intensive. I’d expect it to have more impact on RAM use, but that’s clearly not the case. Hopefully ED will track down the root cause.

pre-purchase has ended - but $80 for this early access version?
Mr_sukebe replied to v2tec's topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
For anyone experiencing Control Mapping issues, please use the tickbox “Folded views” and only expand the controls that you’re binding. -
Within the controls section for my Phantom, I can see a warning symbol about the binding for the First Person Pilot Body - Toggle. By default, mine was empty. Even if I add a keybinding or binding for a HOTAS button, the warning symbol is still displayed. No, it's not a priority issue and it hasn't stopped me doing anything, but would be nice to get rid of.
 -
I believe that I've found a suitable workaround. Within the Controls section, there's a tickbox called "Foldable View". Enable it and only expand the section that you need to rebind. That has solved what was a major issue for me.
 -
Okay, have done some testing today: Have cleaned out FXO and metashaders (again) Removed most of my mods Thinned down my liveries Conducted a full slow "fix" using the DCS Updater/Launcher Checked my key bindings and removed any with contention Uninstalled the Phantom In short, none of the above seemed to make any significant level of difference, i.e. on opening the Controls section to modify key bindings, at least one of my CPU cores jumped to 100% and stayed there, sometimes 2. Then I tried pulling the USB plug out for one of my powered USB hubs that handles 4-5 of my USB devices, and the CPU loading dropped significantly. There appears to be two key influencing factors, i.e. The number USB devices connected and in use The number of controls that can be mapped. So for example, the F16 has a LOT of control options, whereas FC3 aircraft have far fewer. Opening the F16 control menu resulted in a significantly higher impact One thing that I tried that seemed to help was to use the Option within the Controls section of "Foldable views", which is a tickbox. I've just re-installed the Phantom and using the Foldable Views tickbox enabled has allowed me to finish binding my keys WITHOUT the game basically seizing up. So it looks like we have a workaround.

Similar here. on looking in Task Manager, 2 of my CPU cores were maxed out. i tested it in both VR and monitor mode
 -
Yours doesn’t look that bad. 2 of my cores were at 100%. I’ll be investigating more later today

Tom> Nope, sorry, don't know. It doesn't seem right. At least with mine, memory usage is apparently low, so it's not that it's paging. Pointless me even trying to speculate, as chances are that I'd be wrong. Do you have a lot of USB devices? I do. To see if it might help, I took a copy of current Inputs folder (in saved games), then deleted all the controls for my mod aircraft and also any now non-used USB devices. One thing I believe doesn't help is having too many USB devices.
