  1. Yeah that one's a new bug worth reporting to ED.
  2. I think you need to edit your logbook file but I’m not sure how.
  3. When you do the battle damage check you’re supposed to cross under to the other side, and give the thumbs up there (where he can see it) If you are behind/under/ on the wrong side they may very well crash into you because they suck at collision avoidance.
  4. Thanks, you better send these to ED, because those who can fix it are not following this subforum. The helicopter though, it never crashed for me in a 100 replays. Do you have any mods installed?
  5. All I got from ED so far is that the problem is probably with your log file. But they didn’t say anything about the solution. Deleting it would possibly help but you also lose all your progress and stats
  6. This. You need to read the briefings
  7. Please run a slow repair and if it persists contact ED. I have no control of their campaign menu, I’ve heard about this happening sometimes. Oh and uninstall all unofficial mods.
  8. I can't 'move' or 'update' it, I would have to rebuild it from scratch, so it's definitely not gonna happen. BTW the Channel is a great map, well worth getting if you're a warbird fan - and there is a sale on right now.
  9. If you get the mission complete sing and music, you can quit and progress to the next one
  10. You only have 1 wingman and you need to tell him to attack
  11. F-14 Tomcat owners are getting a new free mission based on the Speed & Angels Campaign. My campaigns are also getting an updated carrier skin, and Zone 5 gets a more period correct Nellis AFB. I also want to show you how you can make your single player experience even more immersive.
  12. thanks, it's already been reported, and will be fixed in the next DCS update
  13. Hey, thanks for reaching out,. As I said here I can't figure out exactly without a screenshot of your message history: Without that I can only guess. I assume you heard this after pressing SPACEBAR, right? "OK, let's head to CESAR which will be our exit point, at 14,000, then I'll check out with range control. Don't forget to flip the roll aug back on." and then you flipped it back on, and then nothing else ( which would be surprising because you should be hearing chatter from Dallas flight without doing anything extra. He will check out with Blackjack after this, if you're at CESAR - actually you can miss it by 6 miles either side. My guess would be you missed it by more than that, because your INS alignment degraded, drifted with time (normal), you didn't verify via TACAN, and/or you went for a stored heading alignment (don't). It's not an F-16, the INS is not accurate, and it gets worse with time (and g-s)
  14. Hey, thanks for sharing your thoughts. I agree whenever I fly the F-4 outside of the campaign, I miss the procedures, so I just go through them in my head As for the AI, unfortunately its collision and terrain avoidance capabilities leave a lot to be desired, I've been bombarding ED with tracks, but no fix thus far. ( @[ED]Ben ) Fortunately I built the missions in a way that they don't get stuck if one or more of the AI crashes into the desert.
  15. No it has absolutely nothing to do with the mission, if the Huey is broken it will be broken in the campaign too. Please report it to ED. There are several threads about this already.
  16. maybe some hotas switches that you have assigned are shutting it down automatically? Just guessing, because it's not the mission for sure... try running a repair anyway. A slow one.
  17. Hey, That's very strange because the F-4 is set to 'hot start'. As soon as you press spacebar Yank calls ground. Make sure you don't have ANY unofficial mods installed because they tend to corrupt DCS. Also, run a slow repair and see if that helps. BTW even if your jet was off, Jester has to ask about the alignment during startup, that's a core Phantom feature, not campaign related. So something in your install is seriously messed up, I'm suspecting mods.
  18. @[ED]Ben any update on this please? The SC taxi logic broke many campaigns and this absolutely needs to be fixed. Thanks!
  19. Never had issues with warmup. Try to push your rpm to make it faster, use oil dilution if needed to keep it below 120
  20. What's the specific trigger that you find too rigid and uncompromising and why?
  21. I'm sorry but it's not. You start up the jet however you like, all you need to do is to switch the nav system to PRIM when the INS is done, and you get the taxi comms. That you probably would anyway, otherwise your nav system won't be functional and I'm not sure how you can fly like that. As for the taxi checks, I'm sorry but it's not that hard. 70% of the switches are already in the right position. and "Who knows what"? that "who knows what" is called out by Jester, lingers on screen in the form of a message for 1000 seconds, and if you're still not sure what to do you open the custom kneeboard, look up the checklist and there it is. You have about 400% more time to finish it than what's required. It's not rocket science. My statement above still stands. Trigger zones are 8 miles wide, even though IRL you need to follow departure procedures a lot more accurately than that. But if all this frustrates you then it's probably best if you play different kinds of missions. I couldn't be clearer about my purpose: to build missions that are as study level as the modules, so in the process you can learn about not just the aircraft, but the environment it was flow in. You don't have to like this of course, but that's not my fault, that's personal preference. If you DO want to learn and still don't know where you're stuck, I'm happy to help, I just need that aforementioned screenshot to figure out what you missed.
  22. The message to press spacebar appears once the ins alignment is complete and you switch to primary.
  23. Sure. Open the miz file using 7zip and replace the 60s_Radio.ogg file with a similarly named file of your own. I wish I could have used real music, but there were only a handful of these 60s-ish copyright free ones available. Or, you can have my Spotify playlist play in the background.
  24. No, the 'bug' is that the presence of German flak units gives people stutters. That's all.
  25. You only get 100 if you make it back or you’re rescued. You’ll find more details in the campaign documentation pdf
