Maybe it's not the lack of scratches then.. When I sit the cockpit in DCS it just looks mostly like there is nothing there. I do see very light reflections of the cockpit, but nothing like in real life (as in this video). I suppose live animated cockpit reflections in the F-16 would be a project all in itself. I don't know of any other aircraft that has them animated more that just moving a static around for the cockpit reflections. And since the F-16 has such a unique view, it just stands out more..

If there is a wish list for the Replay, I would also add a 'Play All' option, like the old IL2 1946 has so you can just play one track after another.

Thanks for the reply Thompson.. Yes, I did the Finish step, but it only loaded those few commands. When I clicked Test, it said it matched the DB. But as you could see, that command count said 0.. Anyhow, my install was over 2 years old, and even though I had installed the new Community files, it still only had a few commands. But I did a Reset of just the Keywords on the last Tab, and that seems to have fixed it. I then had well over 900 keywords, and the DB said it matched..

Noob to the F16... Searched for this, but didn't find anything. The cockpit 'glass' seems just way too perfect. I can barely see hairline scratches when looking at the sun. Is there a canopy mod that enhances the scratches a bit?

Mine doesn't say 'License', it says 'serial number'. You already have a serial number for this product Anyway, I'll spend the $10.

I've been away from DCS for about a year. I downloaded the current community version of Vaicom Pro from github and updated everything. I noticed that on the Editor tab, the Keyword command phrase list only has about 30 commands. But in VA I have hundreds. Shouldn't I have many more commands in that Editor list to copy over to VA keywords??

What you are referring to is actual movement of the entire body. Just having your head turned I truly doubt would have that effect. That's what we see on TV every day..

I was going to make a VR Track to demo the Cockpit in VR for a friend to see. But after I saved the Track, I found out that it does not replay where your view was looking. So when I leaned forward to look at an MFD or display or switch to toggle, it was not saved/replayed. So it was not going to be of any use... When he watches the Track in VR, his view is just looking where his head was looking. It would be nice if Tracks would save and replay the actual head movement from the Track, and ignore the users head movement during tracks. Or, is there any way to do this now? Is there some setting that I can change that will play the Track's Head Movement?? Thanks!

I only have 2 waypoints. The starting point and another about 50 miles away. Yes, all of my waypoints have the speed set to 27kts. I set all of the ships to have the same same exact settings for waypoints, both 0 and 1. I was just thinking about that. I think I should try making them all one unit/group. I currently have 2 destroyers, 5 cruisers, and 2 carriers (each their own). But even if I do that, this should have worked as well..

Has anybody had problems with ships/carriers that start moving and then stop? I have 2 carriers (Forrestal & Abe Lincoln), and several escort ships. They all start to move when I start the mission, then after about 1/4 miles the Abe Lincoln stops. And the Forrestal also stops then starts again a few minutes later. And a Ticonderoga also stops about 1 mile after start.. Very strange and I see no pattern to it. They all have the same 2 waypoints with the same settings.

I have my settings 'almost' maxed out. I'm setting them all to max now to see what happens. Also, I'm running it in 5120x1440, so that too has a fps cost. Have you checked your DCS log? -

Fantastic!! They should have put that in the notes.. My increase flying over Las Vegas went from 68fps to 128!! Thankyou ED!! -

I was looking at all of my missions, going back to 2013!! I'm sure those are not compatible with the current version of the game. I should delete many of those missions. How far back would you say they start to be incompatible with the current DCS? 2017? 2019? 2021? Or, 2.6, 2.7, 2.8? I need to clean things up..

Thanks again for the replies. I have a WinWing Taurus Throttle, a nice Collective with a twist throttle and buttons, and a VKB MC stick. I used to fly the Ka50, Huey, and Gazelle, but I've been away from them for a long time. Yea, that was surely RPM Low! I did the same thing in both the stock mission and my mission, but my mission just keeps going into RPM Low and things lighting up red.. I was looking at all of my missions, going back to 2013!! Just FYI.. I had added the AH to a old Nellis mission. Not sure if that was a problem. But when I fly the built-in mission 'Takeoff from Runway' it all works fine.. -

Yea, the throttles. Sorry, I'm new the the Apache.. When the throttles were at full when I spawned in and pulled up on the collective, it started saying something like "RPM Roll" over and over, and the displays went red. So, I thought the throttles were supposed to be pulled back. I probably should read something about taking off? What is RPM Roll? Thanks. PS: In the Huey, I've always throttled back after landing to reduce lift while on the ground? It's not the same for the Apache? -

Like the title says. And I have my physical WinWing FA18 Throttles all the back to the detent. Even if I quickly move them back after clicking Fly, things start shutting down. And it seems to me that when spawning in HOT on the ground, the game shouldn't even need to sync with my throttles.... Because the game's throttles would always be pulled back when spawning in on the ground Hot!? -
I bought a new ultra-wide monitor(32:9 / 5120x1440) and I was wondering if there was any way to change the default F2 External View angle to not be so steep and zoomed in? Every Aircraft has this F2 View angle and zoom. I always zoom out a bit and change the angle to see at least some of the horizon. It's just annoying. Is there a Script somewhere that defines this F2 view for all aircraft? Or could one be called from the Export.lua at mission start to do this?

Changing CameraTerrainRestriction = false (from true) In ...\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\config\view\server.lua does not work. I use my Saved Games server.lua a lot, and don't like changing the game's original files if possible. But if I make this change in the stock game's server.lua it works. It just doesn't work in the users Saved Games folder..
