Also, the start procedure controls many things in the environment, which is why it is crucial in the Missions. You will see if you get used to it; it is also fun and essential to the immersion. I am sure if you have a driver's license and a car, you know how to start the engine ort to boot the Computer in the case of a TESLA. If nothing else helps, visit us at the Black Angels for usual instruction. But besides that, everybody is welcome to join the squad.

Not so, despite testing and improving, we continue. The most significant chunk we are still working on is the documentation. This should meet high standards and be available in all three languages from the beginning. This still means a lot of work, but as long as the sky doesn't fall on our heads, we are confident that we will be able to complete all the work by the end of October. UH-1 „ANEIGNUNG“ VEREITELT Deutsches Museum Flugwerft Schleissheim /Bayern /Deutschland In letzter Sekunde konnte im Luftfahrmuseum Oberschleißheim das ausleihen einer Bell UH-1 durch eine Internationale Gruppe Hubschrauberverrückter verhindert werden. Nachdem die Absperrung bereits überwunden wurde, musste die Gruppe jedoch feststellen, dass die Maschine unüblicher Weise durch ein Schloss gesichert war. Auch die Treibstoff- und Batterie -Frage war ungeklärt und die Mitarbeiter des Museums konnten sich nur insoweit zur Mitarbeit überreden lassen, dass sie ein Gruppenfoto erstellten. Alle 3 Verdächtige die aus Großbritannien, den Niederlanden und Franken stammten konnten den BLACK ANGELS zugeordnet werden und wollten sich die Bell für das TIGERMEET 2023 in Bruck in der Oberpfalz ausleihen. Zumindest Ihrem Spieltrieb konnte nachgegeben werden und die Gruppe verbachte einige Zeit im Simulator des Museums. Am Samstag, den 26.August haben alle drei Verdächtigen, dann am Treffen teilgenommen. Auch wenn wir sonst nur wenig mit den Jet Jungs zusammen fliegen, die Veranstaltung und die Pflege der Gemeinschaft war ein voller Erfolg und mit 6 Teilnehmern waren die Black Angels eine, wenn nicht die am stärksten vertretene Staffel. Besondern Dank, denn darauf sind wir besonders stolz, an unsere Europäischen Teilnehmer aus Großbritannien und den Niederlanden, die uns hervorragend vertreten haben.

Samstag(ENG) zusätzlich zum erweiterten Training werden wir den Samstag nutzen und in kleineren Einheiten von max. 30 Minuten Theorie zu vermitteln. Am 26.August 2023 trafen sich mehr als 30 Mitglieder der Tigermercs. (www.Tigermercs.eu) zum ersten Tigermeet am Flugplatz Bruck in der Oberpfalz. Unser Dank an dieser Stelle geht an Mario und seine Frau, die dort eine Ultraleicht-Flugschule betreiben, als auch den Eigentümer und Betreiber des Platzes der uns die Anlagen zu Verfügung gestellt hat Flugschule SchweigAir - Fliegen lernen am Flugplatz Bruck (flugplatz-bruck.de). Neben Mitgliedern der verschiedenen Jet-Staffeln waren auch einige Hubschrauberpiloten der Black Angels / Ugly Angels mit von der Partie, die wir auch unter den Flügeln der Tigermercs Schutz suchen. Bereits am Vortag sind die ersten angereist und haben Ihre Zelte aufgeschlagen oder ihre Zimmer in den umgebenden Pensionen bezogen. Besonderen Respekt an all jene TM die eine Anreise von 6, 8 und mehr Stunden hatten und teilweise nördlich von Hamburg angereist sind. Mitglieder der Air Cavalry (BA) kamen aus Holland und Großbritannien ein außerordentliches Dankeschön von meiner Seite dazu. Eine Freude selbst Mitglieder der eigenen Staffel zu treffen, die man zuvor nur aus TeamSpeak kannte, wobei insbesondere der ein oder andere aus Österreich angereiste, Englisch im Flugfunk besser zu verstehen ist als beim gemütlichen Plausch Pool. Nachdem der Samstag mit Gesprächen und vielen Rundflügen verbracht wurde, konnte beim Schönheitswettbewerb kein Sieger ermittelt werden, weshalb wir alle zusammen auf dem Siegerfoto zu sehen sind. Denn Sieger waren wir alle, wenn es darum geht, bei allen Unterschieden Gemeinschaft zu pflegen. Nicht zuletzt geht unser Dank auch an Tom, die „Mutter des Geschwaders“, der am Freitag und Samstag den Ablauf organisiert und die Verpflegung organisiert, aber auch mit die ganze Vorarbeit geleistet hat. Alles in allem eine geile Truppe, die sich über weitere Mitglieder/Innen und Wingman/Frau freut.

The Cyclic control feels more realistic, but the paddles are totally off-limits. In DCS, there is also a general tendency to overstretch things like settling with power or vortex ring state, which leads to several unexpected crashes during the landing, even with forward speed. There is still no needle split when you close the throttle during flight to ground idle. Even if you switch off the fuel pump, RPM remains until you lower collective, and after 2 or 3 seconds, you get the needle split. If something breaks during flight, the chances to bring the aircraft to the ground safely are now close to zero. So the possibility to use the old flight model is very appreciated. For me personally, it is hard to understand why the new flight model, with all its obvious flaws, is even in the beta for testing.
