The Cyclic control feels more realistic, but the paddles are totally off-limits. In DCS, there is also a general tendency to overstretch things like settling with power or vortex ring state, which leads to several unexpected crashes during the landing, even with forward speed. More power is also not noticeable in any flight conditions. So when it comes to power settings, there is still a lot of work to do. Torque has strange indications, TOT as well. Also, many things are broken now. Engine start, for example. You need to hold the starter button only to about 15%, then the engine is running by itself, which is not correct. There is still no needle split when you close the throttle during flight to ground idle. Even if you switch off the fuel pump, RPM remains until you lower collective, and after 2 or 3 seconds, you get the needle split. If something breaks during flight, the chances to bring the aircraft to the ground safely are now close to zero. So the possibility to use the old flight model is very appreciated. For me personally, it is hard to understand why the new flight model, with all its obvious flaws, is even in the beta for testing. But the fact that it is the Beta needs to be reminded, and there may be a reason we do not know.

Kann ich nur bestätigen. Keine Chance als Pilot bei der Polizei und Grenzschutz zu beginnen. Normale Polizeilaufbahn und dann, viel Glück.... Niemand mit Verstand lässt sich auf so etwas ein um Pilot zu werden. Keine Kritik an den Piloten bei der Polizei, aber das sind alles Späteinsteiger, keiner der ein Ziel von Beginn an angepeilt und verfolgt hat. Aber das ist auch gewünscht, denn nur so ist sicher gestellt dass auch der Pilot ein Beamter in Uniform ist und die dort herrschende Denke verinnerlicht hat. Leider gibt es diese Entwicklung auch in den USA. Immer mehr Behörden Polizei Scherriff usw. bilden Piloten selbst aus um eben den Kadergehorsam sicher zu stellen. Die Chancen für Ex Militär und Neueinsteiger werden auch dort immer weniger und das Trotz Pilotenmangel. Gut die Mindestanforderung an die Flugerfahrung geht oft von 2000 auf 1500, an manchen wirklich unbeliebten Stellen 1000 PIC Stunden zurück, aber mal ehrlich.... Dafür wird immer häufiger ATPL und IFR verlangt. Persönlich, habe ich auf die seit diesem Jahr geltenden Regeln zur Beruflichen Wiedereingliederung gehofft. Dies gilt offensichtlich nicht für Piloten. Straßenbahn wäre kein Problem. Es wurde mir sogar abgeraten mich Arbeitssuchend zu melden, da ich sonst mit allem möglichen bombardiert würde. Empfohlen wurde mir mein Glück außerhalb von Deutschland zu suchen. Das hat mich etwas frustriert und sprachlos gemacht.

@JG11Preusse Die Verschwendung von menschlichen Potential in Deutschland ist schon immer ein risen Problem. Jeder macht sein eigenes Ding koste es was es wolle.

Leider leider hast du recht. heli privat, nur wenn Geld keine Rolle spielt. Gerade nur so die Minimum Flugstunden zu erfüllen, hat darüber hinaus auch etwas von Todessehnsucht, denn früher oder später kommt der Zeitpunkt wo dich nur Erfahrung rettet.

Sehr schöne Videos und wirklich empfehlenswert. Bei der Autorotation geht er nicht zu sehr ins Aerodynamische Detail, was gut ist. Er hätte jedoch sofern er es wusste erwähnen können, dass die 1 Sekunde Energie im Rotor im Ernstfall in der R22 der geforderten Reaktionszeit entspricht. Sprich hat der Pilot den Kollektiv nachdem der Motor ausfällt nicht innerhalb von ca. 1,5 Sekunden unten braucht er sich über den Rest keine Gedanken mehr machen. Ich würde das meinen Passagieren aber auch nicht vorher erzählen. Je schwerer der Rotor um so mehr Energie hat er gespeichert und um so länger ist die Reaktionszeit, danach, sofern man hoch genug ist, bleibt der Rotor einfach stehen und der Heli fällt wie ein Stein. Dies wird in DCS leider soweit ich weis in keinem Muster korrekt berücksichtigt.

Kurze Info zum Stand bei den Ugly Angels. Um weitere Verwirrungen zu vermeiden hat sich die auf Apache spezialisierte Gruppe für die Änderung Ihres Namens auf „Fire Birds“ entschieden. Danke dafür. Sie sind nicht Teil der Black Angels und organisatorisch innerhalb der Tiger Mercs und deren Regeln selbstständig. Since Corona, I have had considerable difficulties concentrating over a longer period of time, and even small occasions and frustration have negatively affected my motivation. I suffer the most from it; not only have I been working on STORMFRONT for such a long time, but there are also other projects I would like to tackle. I hope you don't hold this against me and have some patience with me. The good news. Another UH-1 campaign that should have been released already can make your wait a little more interesting. Ich habe seit Corona erhebliche Schwierigkeiten mich über längere Zeit zu konzentrieren und auch kleine Anlässe und Frustration wirken sich erheblich negativ auf meine Motivation aus. Ich selbst leide selbst am meisten darunter, nicht nur dass ich schon so lange an STORMFRONT Arbeite, da sind auch weitere Projekte die ich gerne angehen möchte. Ich hoffe Ihr nehmt mir das nicht krumm und habt noch etwas Gedul mit mir. Die gute Nachricht. Eine ander UH-1 Campagne die eigentlich bereits hätte erscheinen sollen, kann euch die Wartezeit etwas interesanter gestallten.

Das Problem in Mission 2 mit der Wegfindung wurde beseitigt und zusätzlich abgesichert um weitere Probleme dieser Art zu verhindern. Die Mission sollte Teil des nächsten Updates Mitte Juli sein. Zu Mission 4 Ich habe die Mission mehrmals überprüft und kann keinen Fehler finden. Es ist auch bereits eine Sicherung eingebaut die nachdem die Bodeneinheit die Brücke erreicht hat ca 90 Sekunden später die Mission weiterführt. Also auch wenn die Bodeneinheit die Trigger Zone zum einsteigen nicht findet sollte die Mission weiter gehen. Ich vermute daher, dass Zeitbeschleunigung verwendet wurde. Das kann ich zwar verstehen, führ jedoch sehr oft dazu, dass Triger einfach nicht ausgelöst werden. Wartezeiten sind Teil der Missionen und ,machen im richtigen leben den Großteil der Arbeitszeit eines Piloten aus. ZEITBESCHLEUNIGUNG IST KEINE OPTION Ich kann zwar verstehen, dass der ein oder andere Zeitbeschleunigung verwendet, dies führ jedoch sehr oft dazu, dass Triger übersprungen und einfach nicht ausgelöst werden. Wartezeiten sind Teil der Missionen und ,machen im richtigen Leben den Großteil der Arbeitszeit eines Piloten aus. Ich versuche Sie dennoch angemessen kurz zu halten. In meinen Missionen, bieten Sie Gelegenheit etwas zu trinken, zu rauchen oder zu essen. Oder auch einfach nur zur Entspannung. Bei allem Verständnis, dass Zeit für das Hobby begrenzt ist. Ich investiere Unmengen an Zeit, Aufwand und graue Zellen um eine möglichst gute Balance zwischen Realismus und Spielbarkeit zu erreichen. Dies werde ich nicht zunichte machen, indem Bodeneinheiten die 1000 meter unter 30 Sekunden laufen. Ich hoffe nicht nur auf euer Verständnis, sondern auch darauf, dass jedem DCS Piloten Realismus entsprechend wichtig ist.

I can understand that some people use time acceleration, but this often leads to triggers being skipped and not triggered. Wait times are part of the missions; in real life, they make up most of a pilot's work time. I still try to keep them reasonably short. My missions provide an opportunity to drink, smoke or eat. Or to relax. With all understanding that time for the hobby is limited. I invest a lot of time, effort, and grey cells to achieve the best possible balance between realism and playability. I will not undo this by having ground units run the 1000 meters in under 30 seconds. I hope not only for your understanding but also for the fact that realism is important to every DCS pilot.

@Matanga Mission 4 Hi. I have checked the mission several times and can't find any error. @Matanga Hello Took care of mission 2 first and installed several timed fuses. I know about the problems that ground units can cause, but this kind of situation control makes a big part of the real feeling for me.
