@Simonster83 Thank you very much for your feedback. I am particularly pleased when beginners are so positive about my work. It shows me that the campaign works for everyone and that, apart from the occasional bug that ED adds from time to time, it's mostly a question of attitude whether you succeed in the missions or despair. ED has already visually upgraded the ship several times in mission 8, which repeatedly leads to problems with triggers. I will definitely check this. Thank you

@DCoffey You are doing perfectly fine. It was hard to figure out what caused the problem because we could not reproduce it. But with the help of another community member, we found out. Because of changes in DCS core to the AI behavior or so, the mission needs to be stored with the actual Beta, and everything is fine. Unfortunately, because of the copy protection, you may be unable to save the mission. So we have to wait for the exact same miz. Stored again and implemented by ED. That is the world of bits and bytes, which often goes far beyond my horizon.

@DCoffey A fix was already sent to ED weeks ago, but they mist it in the last hotfix. It is a DCS Core problem. Simply saving the mission in the actual version of DCS Beta solved the issue. I am sorry, that it thanks so kong to publish the fix, but we do our best, solving problems within 48 hours but we have no influence on how and when ED put it in an update. Skipping a mission is always an option, even if it is not satisfying.

@Dachs Unfortunately, yes. We campaign creators have been trying for a long time to convince ED to separate updates for campaigns from the general updates and thus get shorter intervals, but so far, unfortunately, without success.

@Landei Falls du das noch nicht getan hast, gibt es eine 14 Tage Testversion für alle Modelle in DCS, die du kostenlos nutzen kannst. Bei Interesse würde ich dir Grundlagen innerhalb dieser Zeit (24/7) im Huey aufzeigen und du kannst dich parallel mit Granny und den Firebirds Apache fliegen. Aber wie Granny schon sagte man kann auch alles im APACHE lernen. Wie Maverik zu sagen pflegt, am Ende ist der Pilot entscheidend und nicht die Maschine.

Ganz ruhig Brauner. Ich hab nicht gesagt das das nicht möglich ist. Ich sagte in RL macht das kein Mensch. Das hat seine Gründe und es gibt auch in DCS einfachere Wege. Wie immer gibt es verschiedene Wege zum Ziel und nicht immer sind die Ziele die Selben. Letztendlich ist jeder selbst seines Glückes Schmied.

@Landei Wie mein Geschwader Kollege schon richtig sagt das kriegt man schon hin. Allerdings und das ist für dich die positive Nachricht, der Apache ist was seine Flugeigenschaften im Helicopter Modus unter 40 Knoten, na sagen wir mal etwas verbesserungswürdig. Viele umgehen das Problem indem sie einfach nicht langsamer werden und alles aus dem Vorwärtsflug heraus erledigen. Fliege den Apache genau aus diesem Grund nur selten, auch wenn es schon viel besser geworden ist. Wenn das bei anderen dennoch besser funktioniert, kann das natürlich auch an der Übung liegen und dem gewusst wie. Als RL Fluglehrer kann ich dir sagen niemand lernt fliegen auf einem Apache. Solltest du also nicht nur auf den Apache fixiert sein, würde ich dir zunächst zum Grundlagentraining auf der UH raten. Wir fliegen zwar auch die Apache, aber wenn es dann um die Tiefen der Systeme und den ATARI geht ist Granny sicher der bessere Ansprechpartner. So oder so www.tigermercs.eu @LtSpoon Das ist natürlich auch eine Möglichkeit. Lass den ATARI auch fliegen. Als alter Sack, der gewohnt ist alles per Hand zu machen bin ich auf diesen Gedanken überhaupt nicht gekommen.

@Simonster83 This is the problem described above. We fixed it weeks ago, but ED released the hotfix without it. It should be in the January update. I don't know your flying skills, but if you need any help,feel free to contact me. Just yesterday, 30 minutes of flight training for mission three were given. Landing in confined areas. Mission 2 is mainly transport. There is some information on skipping a task within the mission if you break a cargo. You can find it in the Documents folder. Please don't confuse realistic with "military = use of weapons." Especially where there is a lot of fighting, realism is usually sought in vain. Even in Worlds Apart SPRING 2025, the shooting missions are mainly about not getting hit and still carrying out the actual transport mission. Only in 2 out of 11 missions is there an active attack to destroy. According to current planning, the Mi-8 campaign will also largely get by without the active use of weapons.

I can't argue with that either, and you did a great job with I LOVE THIS JOB, and you delivered a civilian campaign for DCS that I can only recommend to everyone. I would be happy if DCS would offer a little more space for the purely civilian campaign. What you need as MOD for your campaign would be part of DCS. This would not influence the main program in any way but would certainly expand the market. But, there is always a but. The police in the USA are no less armed than the army and make heavy use of it. But as you have proven, you can get by without weapons. I myself see it more as an additional strategic level and not as a normalization or even glorification of violence. In addition to controlling the aircraft, maintaining an overview of a complex situation is a challenge in itself. But like you, I also invest a lot of time and effort in the new update to divide challenges into digestible morsels for as many people as possible. For my wife, I'm a hero when I take the garbage outside without being asked, and rightly so, because it takes me almost superhuman strength to do this. It's always in the eye of the beholder.

The Trigger " PART OF COALITION IN ZONE" is broken. It only works if you choose an airplane, helicopter, or ground force. If it is set to ALL, the trigger is active even if there is no unit in the zone. :thinking:

There is a high chance of using the Doppler and flying from the right seat. But in my opinion and according to my demands Roles will change from the beginning. Nothing prevents the pilots from switching seats on prior agreements. And pilot flying may be the guy on the right no problem with that. In fact, this is actually a realistic scenario. I see a ton of work ahead.
