Today we send a Version of Mission 8 where the mission continues even when the AI Helo crashes. Der ein oder andere interessierte Ugly Angel wird so hoffen wir auch hier mit dabei sein. Nicht nur weil auch die neue Gruppe unter dem Dach der TigerMercs zuhause ist. Wir fliegen dieselben Missionen, verwenden dieselben Server und dasselbe TeamSpeak. Organisatorisch und administrativ sind beide Heli-Staffeln jedoch getrennt. BLACK ANGELS DISCORD https://discord.gg/aqwzv2P Der Dienstagabend ist zunächst Staffel- und Besucherabend. Unterteilt in Training von 20:00 bis 21:00 oder 21:30 Uhr. Anschließend fliegen wir zusammen Missionen oder auf anderen Servern. Ziel ist es als Teil einer Großen Gemeinschaft in kleinen nach Interessen (Mustern oder Art der Mission) und persönlichen Fähigkeiten aufgeteilten Gruppen zu trainieren und zu fliegen. Natürlich sollen die Gruppen auch untereinander interagieren und gemeinsame Missionen in verschiedenen Konstellationen fliegen können. BEDINGUNGEN: Wie gehabt und wie von den Ugly's bereits bekannt - Alles kann nichts muss. Respektvoller und kameradschaftlicher Umgang vorausgesetzt. I can confirm the problem in Mission 8. We work on a quick solution.:book: The problem with the crashing AI exists in the stable version also but has no effect on the Mission itself. :music_whistling: We provide a new version for an update to ED over the weekend. Thanks for your impressions :thumbup: The Problem in Mission 8 is a known issue with the beta :cry: Mission 5-1 is usually a KA-50 bringing you down. This is a timing problem. You have to go through the tasks as quickly as possible. For Mission 5-2 is already a video available For Mission 6 you find navigation guidance on the kneeboard or on the DISCORD Mission 7 don't get to close to the boats and vary your course and altitude. There are some changes in DCS concerning the destructiveness of the Huey Gunns and I need to check that out. During testing, you get killed 1 out of 10 by mortars on the ground. I need to check that again but I believe it is also a timing issue. When approaching the airfield do not waste any time and land as fas as practicable.

If the workaround is working I suggest one of the cargo is broken. But I will check that. If you are sure there is no cargo broken, deactivate the supercarrier if installed. Don't delete him just deactivate him bevor starting the campaign. Sounds strange? I know :smilewink:

Aktuell haben wir in sehr kurzer Zeit so viele Anfragen bekommen und Gäste bei uns bergrüßt, dass wir von den Kapatzitäten und organisatorisch an vorübergehende Grenzen stoßen. Bei Interesse wendet euch bitte daher zunächst an Grizzly über den Helicopter Meeting Point auf DISCORD. So können wir uns in entspannter Atmosphäre kennenlernen und euch mit den Gegebenheiten und Abläufen bei den Ugly Angels vertraut machen. Dies soll den Flug- und Trainingsberieb entlasten und wir haben dann auch genügend Zeit und Aufmerksamkeit für euch. Eine enventuelle Eingliederung in die Staffel wird dadurch leichter und für beide Seiten einfacher umzusetzen. So it seems to me you missed that point for just a few seconds :pilotfly: If you ordered to stay in formation, that means - stay in formation. This is a military simulation. Keeping formation strait out and staying at an altitude within +-100 feet tolerance is the main task in that mission. You have at least 3 shots free on any of both legs. The explosion was not intended, it comes with one of the updates, instead, the main gearbox should fail and forces an emergency landing and the mission was failed there anyway. Two ways to master that task. 1. Let the Autopilot fly. As mentioned over the see - just strait out. Or 2. stay away from Wolf One and keep social distancing with a minimum of 50 meters, so the task will never be triggered. This is the only mission with that kind of task over a longer distance :smilewink: but not the most challenging one. We are aware of that especially helicopter specific missions, depending on a lot of the type of controls you use. They are much easier to fly with the right controls, so it's not only the pilot when something seems to be hard to accomplish. But it's the mission either. In any case, flying a helicopter needs more training, commitment, and passion then flying around in jets. You are so right about it. :cry: No matter how hard we try, DCS is a dynamic product under development and in Beta we will always be one step behind. That this happened right at the beginning of the first mission is more than annoying and makes our work even harder than it already is. But still. You won't find this bug in the stable version either, at least not yet. :smilewink:

Let's be fair. :smilewink: Most companies pay a lot of money for the fact that outsiders who have no idea about the product point out mostly obvious things. TIGERMERGS Missionsabend Heute fliegen wir zusammen mit den Jet Jungs eine search and destroy Mission. In HUNT THE GENERAL geht es darum sich dem Flugplatz nähernde Fahrzeuge zu finden und zu zerstören bevor sie diesen erreichen. Der ideale Einstieg zu den Ugly Angels, da keine weiteren Vorkenntnisse und nur mäßige Flugkünste gefordert sind. Bei Interesse bitte bis spätestens 19:45 auf dem TEAM Speak melden. The good News is ED is working hard on many fronts upgrading DCS and making it eaven better. But therby many issues comming up and needed to be solved. We do our best to keep up with the changes and to ensure the campaign is fully playable. So we really apprishiate anny information about strange AI behavior or bugs. @Bagpipe Again many thanks for reporting the issue, even when it was not important for the mission. It is a new issue in 2.5.6 BETA, and I reported that to ED today. Obviously, the beta has problems to correctly position aircraft on the ground. If you know what to look for you can already see the bug in the Missions Editor. The bug will either fixed by ED or the Mission will be updated with a version adapted to 2.5.6. As far as we know the problem for any reason appears only in Mission 1, so i wish you a lot of fun with the remaining missions as well.

Da fängt die Woche doch schon gut an. :thumbup: Und offensichtlich sorgt CORONA nicht nur für social distancing, sondern bring neben viel Freizeit auch Menschen zusammen, die sich sonst wohl nie über den Weg laufen würden.
