  1. If you do not pass the profile you never get seated in the aircraft, for qualifying, to begin with, as well as the ejection seat trainer. 7 GLoc's incidents a year?!?! In how many flight hours?? Does this mean that in a flight simulation EVERY time I pull g's beyond 7, I passed out!?!? That's ridiculous.
  2. "You'd have to ask someone who's flown the real deal" If he did, the answer would be "not close enough". Specially the "feeling" of the FLCS, and rolling rates (completely off). The numbers maybe the ones on paper, but airborne everything is screwed.
  3. Your point is completely wrong. IRL you must be able to pull 9g's for 15'' and 10'' on the same profile, or...you will not become a Viper Driver! Simple as that! The prove you're wrong is the example you gave us. One exception! If not, everyday we have crashes due to GLoc's. Of course there are situations were your G tolerance is below where it should be, but in my case, doing demos between 7 and -3G's for 5 years, there were a couple of times that I have to pull back on G's, that's all. As it is, GLoc after 4-5 sec at 8 to 9 G's is simply unreal. Note, that I don't say it is not possible, in certain conditions, but those are the exceptions. In case you want to see the profiles... https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4332336&postcount=6
  4. Here a stable user only, and early access of the F-16, mainly, F-18 now and then. 20 years on simulation, let's say hardcore simulation, or what it is, and I can tell you that DCS F16 is not usable, if you want to use it for proper simulation. Yes, you can drive her for a fancy ride over Hoover Dam, but nothing else. I don´t know which special version you got, but this one isn't for sure. I'm not criticizing the EA model, just buy who wants. I know I won't buy anymore, but what ED have to take care, is the growing number of posts like this! My own 2 cents;)
  5. He said, wrongly, that one method is using INS page...which is incorrect. If we do it, we just screw all the alignment. The second one is using the STPT page, which change the actual steerpoint. The correct one to use, irl is the DEST page. Not available at time being... Cheers

  7. Which approach?:megalol:
  8. https://apps.dtic.mil/dtic/tr/fulltext/u2/a196171.pdf Page 4 of the PDF. That's the normal profile a fighter pilot have to perform. So answering your question, at least 15 seg at 9 G's...
  9. As well as the AMRAAM in DCS... and never figure it out to work properly:huh: This is in fact a new bug...on top of older ones:smilewink:
  10. Not evolve, in my opinion... But develop the module, get it finished (they already done that with A10C) and integrate it in DCS World.
  11. What I think ED should be doing is work on the modules they already have, get them finished asap and get a stable platform. Leave the development of new modules to 3rd parties, and just work on their integration on DCS world. And they have plenty to do... Once again I'm not pointing to financial aspect of the thing...
  12. Neither do I. But we have different ways of enjoying the sim, probably. Which is good... But do you ever thought on flying the Tornado in DCS World, and enjoying it, in all it's capabilities, in an closest to real scenario, and all the goods DCS is capable of? With this "evolving software" thing, not on our live time;)
  13. So...who want a finished product, at the present time, can only fly 1 or 2 modules, because all the others are under development... which is fair to me! Just have to accept that fact! F18 is still in early access almost two years after EA release, with a lot of missing systems, and a lot of bugs too. On top of that they put the Viper, with the same problems, and probably (unfortunately) with the same timetable...And then, you have all the 3rd party modules, with their own bugs, and compatibility with the DCS World...which, by the way, also update from time to time. And the cycle begins again... So for me, with this kind of system, you are always in an Early Access state, which some might say it's in constant development, but others, like me, say, we will never get a steady platform to enjoy our sim the way we want. This opinion it's just what it is...an opinion, a personal way of seeing things. And of course I don't point to economical side of the question, which probably ED finds to be best way of getting the most of it, but I'm not able to judge on that.
  14. IMO, #2 no doubt! As an hard-core simmer I'm always looking for the closest to real thing. Flying this kind of sims at early stages it's only an eye-candy time, or very limited procedures training. As a real, and ex-military pilot, trying to apply any kind of tactics, or weapon deliveries, are almost impossible. With constant upgrades the procedures change every time. For my personal perspective a finished product is the way to go.
  15. +1 Happened to me yesterday!!
  16. See sticky post "Fight-TDR-bug program"
  17. And with the .dll it happened the same thing as with Elysian_Angel
  18. Sorry mate, but it happened again...no joy!!:no_sad:

  20. Hi, After a fresh install of all components of my PC, the game started to crash randomly, but only when I'm using TrackIR, with Oculus Rift, I had no crashes. I'm sending in attach the crash log file. Any help will be appreciated Cheers dcs.log-20190328-231052.zip
  21. Sure Sabre, BFT-02 take-off and single engine land mission, 2.5.0 (not the OB). If I fly the mission as a training flight, after t/off, level off trigger works fine, and after that, mission continues with no problem, except that, we are always "below glideslope" on final approach, when in fact we are above (always 4 white lights on the PAPIS)!!. When I try to fly the qualify mission, the trigger is not activated, level off at 6000', at 220Kts. If we break-off from that initial heading (300), then we are penalized for that, and fail the qualification. Thanks in advance
  22. +1 In training missions the trigger is there, but on qual, it's gone. Suggestions
  23. Is it possible to rollback to 1.5.4 on STEAM? Thanks in advance
  24. Hi Ranger79, First, I wanna thank you for the effort bring all this together for us. It's fantastic!! As for me, in mission 1 the wingmen doesn't start their engines, even with the my engines fully running before I call for clearence, as stated above, with a fresh install and renaming of the folder... I'm with the 1.5.5 version on Steam. Further infos: -Got no answer when calling for taxi (on the right freq!!), but as soon I start taxi, I get a clearance to, but short time after, few secs, get a "unable to taxi"; -When holding short of rwy, and cleared to T/Off, after start the T/Off run get a "unable T/Off; -Whiplash-1 does not describes FOB Suse (FOB Suse doesn't trigger), but it does all the others; -When RTB and call inbound, get a answer "divert to Alternate", with no aparent reason to... Thanks in advance
