It remains the same as the original as it uses EDs 3d model. The mod is a simple desert skin if you like for Nevada and PG. Elevation is always dictated by the 3D model.

It is JSGME compatible for ease of switching it on and off as you require. Works on all maps so it's even possible to have a beach FARP in Normandy. Please enjoy. Hi sc_neo, Thanks I am a firm believer in clear concise not overly complicated briefing materials. After all no pilot gets into his pit without a plan. I contemplated ten missions in total for this campaign and then perhaps taking my characters to the Persian Gulf for my next one. I have five completed including Spec Ops insertions Civilian escort duties, AtoA QRA Operations etc etc. I use all the variants currently available for this helo. I have tried all the available text to speech options out there but to be honest, none are really ideal. -

Hi All, Here is a SA342 teaser mission that is part of a campaign I have been working on. Please let me know what you think. There are presently 5 missions completed. Hi Magot, Thanks for the feedback but to be fair this is a mod and uses those elements that are currently available in the sims base code. It only provides CA functionality and just goes to show what can be achieved with a little effort. If the sights were currently available I would use them. I am only sharing this now, as the wider WWII community has been asking for this for a while. I am not about to put serious effort into producing sight reticles for a payware item. For that I would suggest raising the issue with the developers, after all they benefited from the sales, not I. It is probably one of the reasons why CA is currently lacking in the pack. I just hope you and other community members enjoy the mods additional benefits over the stock items. :thumbup:

Hi All, I completed this mod some time ago and thought I would share. It's a CA compatible WWII Asset Pack mod. You will need to own the pack itself for this to work and the mod can be downloaded here: "Original link deleted HERE" After you have downloaded and unzipped, place the resulting folder in your saved games tech folder and you are good to go. All the vehicles can be located in the ME under CATEGORY "Armor". Each vehicle will be labelled e.g. *TigerII in the dropdown and are available for any country. The mod does not replace the existing asset and they will still be selectable as normal. To my knowledge 3 items appear not to have collision models: M2A1 HalfTrack SDKFZ251 Higgins Boat I have also given the Higgins Boat (named*HigginsWWIILC in the ME) the ability to get to the shoreline and lower it's ramp when it stops (when being driven in CA). Also the two half tracks will raise the armoured window slots for better visibility. Please enjoy. UPDATE 18/04/19: The pack has had to be updated owing to the fact that the WWII Assets pack has been adapted to use different Args for wheel and track animations. I have done my best to make sure this mod incorporates those changes but working blind is difficult. I have upgraded this mod and it can now be downloaded via the link highlighted in the first post. It includes the following: Chain Home Radar Mod. Static Template of readymade sites on the English South Coast (Normandy Map). Sound files associated with the "ChainHometest.lua". ChainHometest.lua file. 1. Down load the Mod and extract it. 2. Place the extracted folder in your DCS saved games, in the tech folder. 3. Inside the complete mod folder is another folder called "StaticTemplate Script & Sound Files". It contains the files needed to make this work fully within a mission. the STM file needs to be copied to your static template folder within saved games. You will then be able to load the template in the mission editor. Once loaded you will have 10 sites on the South Coast of England. You will of course still require the MIST script Enjoy the update. :thumbup:

Hi gunterland, Yes there has been a change to the behaviour of all amphibious vehicles in DCS ie AAV7 etc and what you are describing is happening with all of them unfortunately. It must be something ED have changed or is in the process of changing in the main code. Until that changes, nothing more can be done I'm afraid. -
Cheers :thumbup: In the link below is a list of airframes I have tested that work with this mod. I only wish the Viggen was functional as it would be ideal. The mod was originally designed for the AV-8B Harrier and works well. Also works with all helos. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3349229&postcount=28 It's a mod available here https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=199461 Also please note that due to some map based limitations the mod is not as simple as placing a FARP anywhere you like it needs to be flat terrain to avoid floating. It's a draw back but not impossible.

Below your TO/LDG H2O switch there is a Combat Thrust Button (CMBT Thrust Button) that can be selected in forward flight.

Just a simple "AI Helo" embarking and disembarking "AI troops". Once disembarked the troops then move to additional waypoints. The "Troops" then embark a M113 vehicle which then follows it's waypoint route.
