1). ANSWER: Once a unit is destroyed within DCS it cannot be reactivated which is where scripting makes a difference and overcomes this problem. So using a "SWITCHED CONDITION" will not help here as the ME cannot find anything to respawn, as it no longer exists. My video's are aimed more at Mission Editor functionality and not having to use scripting.
2).ANSWER: I could do a video covering this element but also, Fee's image post above does demonstrate the process for AI quite nicely. The thing to bear in mind is that the flight pattern of the Huey cannot be impacted through the editor once it starts to engage units...... so it will do its own thing until it's attack tasking is complete. Unless of course you decide to implement a very convolute set of triggers to attack then fly to a waypoint on a rinse and repeat basis.
