  2. If the plane didn't have the hardware at all as I understand it, remove the functionality.
  3. Yeah its unique role is tank busting in low to no airdefence condition. I dont think it applies TM.
  4. I don't think it's a good idea to remove placed units from the arbris. The ka50 doesn't have rwr nor does it have mws. Nor does it have good visibility nor does it have good optics nor can it overfly nor does it have spotting chopper to go with it. Also it only updates on spawn, you still have to figure out situation if you get there and anything placed after spawn is not in. Muh 2cents
  5. Lul the commercial is a project by a ed forum user after we reverse figured out some of the stuff. I for the most part really hope mj2 does what it should do. Basically deciding factor if bk90 will be good or meh.
  6. bk90 is literally select waypoint, release it and done. doesnt even need to be a target waypoint.

  8. Iirc first lantirn integration was a hack of the video feed into the TCS feed. So there would be not much avionics integration. But I could be wrong.

For someone like me, who is really more into the inner workings of systems like the real nitty gritty part then the "beeing a pilot part" its really uber nice to see you guys actually doubling down on those details and implementing it. Really looking forward to getting to flip all the bloody switches. :D

  12. I liked what Jester called and it sure had some surprising immersion to it. I only felt he was a little, like if my wingman called stuff that exited all the time, I would probably tell him to chill a bit. :D If there is an sa15 in your face a popup flanker on your six etc. its understandable to get panicked. But in this case here from what I saw was a pretty routine popup bombing run with nothing too dangerous [looked like it at least]. Its obviously just sneak peak with 4 lines, so I wont read to much into my feedback, but since you asked for it, here it is ! :) EDIT: I feel it otherwise kinda looses dynamic range. If jester gets spooked by a shilka spiking you while your in a mach 1.1 pullup or something, then there isnt much panick head room left for seriously bad things and since tone of voice is pretty big non worded information transport... Great stuff overall !

  15. There is a navflir in the atflir pylon which can do the same. It was later removed because it was rarely used operationally iirc. But I think ED said they wanted to model it.

Well, join MP addicts discord, the idea to change in favour of english language came up 1-2 days ago [actually because i mentioned people are annoyed by 3 ewrs and awacs calling same things all in russian which many dont understand so they just switch it off], mav asked for input, nobody objected. :) If you are there next time your voice might be heard. EDIT:No guarantees though I did make some strong cases imho against some things but in the end mav is making the decisions and thats fine with me. If it was easy anyone of us would be running a server I guess TM. I cant really comment on the other things since I dont have any knowledge of it. For latency concerns 5ms cutoff can be vital. And in DCS's case can be quite likely because of the blocking nature of networking communication.

And how much of an answer did you expect _seriously_ after implying it was a change in favor of just the native english speaking community, and not the _is capable of understanding basic english_ community. Edit: I guess you understood from the start, judging from the start. Wasnt aware of the background of which, as said in my next post [back to the future] I have no knowledge and thus will not comment on.

  20. Well in the past they have taken a position saying the missiles are kinematically and guidance wise accurate. Since then they have said wanting to rework all of that. Since the issue is in the wild for more then 8 weeks and ED has only spoken about working on spitfire damage model issues, im starting to get a little worried the issue might stay for quite some time. Its a generic thing, eagles mostly die from r27 series, but I also had a viggen tank a 530d, same with harrier or anything I shot so far. There is some general issue behind it. But ED hasnt reacted or acknowledged that so far, so Im getting a little worried due to trackrecord with broken missiles. :D Lets all hope it gets resolved quickly _somehow_.
  21. Im not sure if razbam did change anything about the missiles since the issue appeared before 2.5 release. I dont think so, but I cant be sure because the issue with the 530d deviates statisically relevant from the issues with the other missiles. Im not sure if the eagle dm has some kink which makes it cause that statistic difference. Im not sure if nothing of both is the case and its just the general issue. 3 lines of action, 3 possible sources of issue I have been able to make out, too much frustration over this issue -> 3 posts. I know there is threads about it, but none got any officiall feedback and none did actually put trackfiles in.
  22. Idealistically, yes, and if ED acknowledges the issue and is in the process of fixing, hell yes. But if ED takes a "this is all correct" stance as it does with the missile kinematics, I would still prefer having the missiles working as expected instead of having a "correct" number in some lua file.
  23. It started before 2.5, last or second last 1.5.8 patch broke it afaik.
  24. I do as well on an idealistic level, but given the issue exists for more then 6 weeks at this point, I am quite pessimistic about ED fixing it at all. And in that case I would prefer a simple warhead power adjustement until this issue gets addressed by ED. Ideally razbam can just make ED aware, and get the issue fixed, since its their product which is most prominently affected right now and ED didnt officially acknowledge the issue yet. Im quite literally just trying to get this issue fixed _somehow_. Because the ideal world approach of report to ED and wait has not lead to anything so far.
