  2. Here, load the mission punch the afterburner and watch. Crashes each time. I think its not total launches, I am pretty sure its angular density of launches, which would also explain why it does crash with fast rolls against few launches. With any other aircraft the crash doesnt happen, so its not a DCS issue. do_not_tell_me_the_odds-make-crash.miz
  3. Last time I build a mission to reliably trigger it non maneuvering was like 24 launches fron aspect distributed. In MP the issue usually happens when you have launches and roll fast with the sensor FOV on the launch. I think something crashes because its too many single events. Thats why its kinda rare in MP. I will build a reproduction mission tomorrow again if that gets it fixed. :)
  4. You can reproduce conditions, where too many IR detections CTD the game. This can be either achieved by few launches and high rollrate or just a high number of launch events. This is in for more then 8 months at this point. Its rare that it happens but its reproducible and its the second or third time I report it. :) Thats why I am a little annoyed by it still beeing here and didnt elaborate too hard. :)
  5. This bug still exists, its reproducable, I really dont get why this isnt fixed yet. Slowly but surely loosing my trust here. I am not all up on the fence asking for features. But fixing CTDs imho kinda should be a priority. :) my 2 cents.

  8. 3 Things are positively not working in the current software/firmware situation. 1) combining a relative axis to an absolute one. I tried to combine the relative hat axis to the main x and y axis, but it will only add the absolute input from the hat, not the relative position from the axis to x and y. A feature to choose here would be _very_ nice. 2) Axis response curve. I checked EQ in the physical axis tab, no joy. Only if I set an axis button in hardware level to switch it on during operation manually it takes effect. 3) Having 2 switchable ministicks between pov and ministick. If I setup a second pov on axis 6 and 7 and set it to on/off and define a button ustick in physical layer and select pov nr. 2, either ministicks cant be switched into pov mode. If I disable the default one the secondary manually configured one works. Looking forward to fixes for theese ! :)

  11. D2M still reproducably causes the game to crash, if too many ir launch events are detected. this is very annoying since it kinda "kills" you time after time when stuff gets exciting. :) This bug is more then half a year old at this point.
  12. I dunno I like the kill messages off. Both for a2a and a2g it adds the amount of uncertainty you would have in a combat scenario and makes the whole thing more exciting imho. There is enough servers with kill messages on and as said before there is the online stats. Also if you really fancy kill confirmations, ask your GCI, he can give you nicknames. :D Blueflag imho is the team based server individual pride and such should not stay in the way of creating an enviroment where collective effort to collect and distribute information is needed. I cant say that I dont fancy it myself in a2a from time to time but imho blueflag is aboute more then just a2a pewpew. :)
  13. Hot rearm shouldnt be an issue you can also go to nav 2 minutes before you takeoff so that shouldnt be a problem and last time i checked it wasnt implemented. So has to be some unicorn thing. I would A launch them lower B try full bk90 load C try center pylons D try different time of year and weather with lower pressure. Also set the weapon selector to attack after rearming. Also go f6 on the weapons after release atm its kinda not clear if thy not try to go into cruise phase at all or only too late.

Im kinda embarassed at my own performance this time around we had a lot more planned but Krippz kinda put an early ending to that ! :D We have done a lot of pre-planing with the data cartridge functionality, and I did hotfix coordinates for chaparral sites 5 minutes into the briefing with fresh coordinates from the GCI to bring in the autohoming hammers, but unfortunately we didnt get to employ them anymore. :} Really looking forward what the future will bring for the Viggen [already inhaled todays patch log] and what the F14 will bring to the table, especially the RIO side of things. At least then I can blame the flying into missiles part on the Chauffeur ! :D [Aerial photography/recon slide rule is already laying around here, bring the TARPS ! :D] So yeah, thanks a lot for the sponsoring and the modules you bring to DCS really had a great deal of fun with the viggen since its release and am very sure will have similar levels of fun in the Tomcat !! S!
  16. Thanks for the pictures of the front ! One more question I have at this point is if the 2 switches on the thumb side of the throttle grips, additionally to the 4 way and 2 buttons are either just 2 way hats or 4 wat hats or 3 position switches with permanent positions ?

  19. Looks really nice ! Especially excited about all metal structure and push trhough detents. One question though, will the Grips be swappable as anticipated ? Also can we get a picture of the control elements on the front of the throttle ?

The memes continue, I actually got an a2g kill, shortly before i got quite literally stabbed in the back with a maverick. :D Gotta say these 120kg mine warhead mavs are the most reliable anti air warhead in dcs. Makes very sure, that the target is _very_ dead. Thats puts red at 2 total a2g kills, the politbureau declares major victory! ;D Very nice stream coverage from Maverick ! :)
  21. Am I right assuming one can put the master mode in a relative axis mode as the gate and vice versa ? I cant really think of a usecase for a relative axis and would want both in absolute mode, I guess its possible just making sure.
  22. Welllll that would be kinda bad, I hope it doesnt happen like that :D. Unless we get interflight jtac access or something, an hour is not exactly enough to produce coordinates for cartridges and a delivery plan.
  23. Since its only 3 days left: In what Form will we get intel on the targets ? What kind of air defences will be present ? There is still time but its kinda important for planning with the Viggens in terms of priotizing/stores, since it doesnt really have the spotting capabilities of the av8b. :)
  24. Its somehow weirdly bound to fps. I experience it too, if its slow, as ridicoulous as it sounds, look against the sky, moar fps, moar slew.... Hope that gets resolved with the avionics overhaul.
  25. Yeah DYK is a weird non CCRP mode atm, afaik it should be basically CCRP with steering cues.
