well I have flying around down, hovering is getting there, and haven't figured out guns/weapons yet, still working on hovering

absolutely THE best sim out there :thumbup: I have been flying sims for years and years and this is absolutely incredible.....very realistic!!! To put it in perspective, I bought the download version, printed out the manual myself and I will buy the boxed version and the printed manual both when they come out....very well worth it!

I have a core2 Q6600, evga 8800 gts 640 mb, 4 gigs mem, xp pro, and I am getting around 25 on the ground, 35-40 in the air. Not sure, but you should be smoking me with your higher spec proc and vid card. Maybe check for the latest drivers for the vid card?

I was playing around with Black Shark graphics.lua and apparently corrupted it, found out after the fact that you have to use notepad++ to edit .lua files. That being done, I thought to just deactivate it and reinstall it. So, the first time, I clicked wrong and it said it was activated again, now down to 7 activations. Whoops, screwed up. Ran protect again and successfully deactivated. Reinstalled and activated the sim. Before the flames start, I found out after I did all that that as long as you don't change os or hardware, you don't need to deactivate/activate. Dangit. Now I have only 6 activations left and 9 deactivations. So, is there a way I can get the count back to what it should be as new? Should they have that on record somewhere that it was the same license and pc? Again, royal screw up on my part, just asking if there is a way to get those counts back. Thanks for the help.

The normal F4 view shows looking out backward behind the shark. I can change this using RShift F4 to be a chase view. I would like that to stick somehow. Every time I start a mission or the sim, it reverts back to the F4 view. Is there a way to make F4 stick like the RShift-F4 view? Thanks.

I agree. I have been a long time flight simmer, and the MS FFB absolutely rocked, and still does....if you can get it to work. I actually bought a MS FFB and FFB2 off of ebay, both around 30/40 bux or so. I had to buy an old sound card with a game port to get the FFB1 to work. Had it working but gave up on it because it kept conflicting with my sound card. I now have the FFB2 installed now because it has native USB support. Been running the FFB2 for about 4/5 years now. You can find drivers for it on the web it you don't have the original install CD. I just wish like heck MS would make another FFB1....the feel and response of that stick was awesome....or even better yet the X52 would come out with optional FFB. I don't really crank up the FFB effects much, but return to center and a little shake in the stick when you are stalling/vibe when you are shooting is pretty realistic..... The MSFFB1/2 is probably the best ffb sticks ever made...just wish they still produced them. Try to find one on ebay is the best I can offer..... Thanks V3T

Well....still no joy...... I have PPJoy setup according to the manual included with FT. I have FT fired up, it detects BS. I have the output on FT only as PPJoy, controller one. In BS, I have absolute horizontal view=JoyX absolute vertical view=JoyY Horizontal shift Camera view=Joy RZ Lognitudinal shift Camera view=Joy RX Absolute Roll Shift=JoyZ Absolute Vertical Shift=Slider1 Still will not work at all, no movement in BS. Other sims work just fine so I don't think its a FT issue. I have FT 2.2 What am I missing? Thanks

Hi Just downloaded BS and loving every minute of it. I am a FT user, and saw where somebody got it working in BS using PPJoy. So I installed PPJoy, setup a default joystick 6 axis according to the PPJoy english manual. I am stuck now trying to get BS to see FT. Could somebody lead me in the right direction? What settings do you use in FT and also what settings do you use in BS to see the PPJoy? Thanks.

I just want to say I really appreciate all the hard work that has gone into making this sim...although I don't even have it yet! I am in the US and have downloaded the ENG manuals and just am simply amazed at the amount of detail in the avionics on this sim.....I couldn't even imagine how many hours and long nights have gone into making this thing (I am an IT admin)...hats off to ED and Wags, I am blown away just to read the manual.... you guys deserve the best (and a hell of a vacation after this!!)
