The best keyboard map for the Black Shark was from Bravo46 (Kurtz) and then reworked by Mapi (from memory here). I laminated that and use it every day. It's a work of art. Now if we could convince him to do another I would drown him in e-beers. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=37827

without a doubt I suggest going the high end headphones path I went for ATH A900 Audio Technica Headphones (amazon $218 - very cheap compared to what I paid) with a $15 clip on Zalman microphone for Teamspeak3. The guys can hear me fine, and I have the best cans in that price bracket. A10 cannon sounds jizz worthy. Fits the trackclip pro

Spartan returned the joystick to PC Case Gear and they gave him a new stick. :)

edit - I'm an idiot, the missions work fine. When I press Pause Break the keyboard is hyper sensitive, and just pauses again...

I turned the PC off, took out the X52 Pro and plugged in the Warthog. Windows 7 found it no problem. I downloaded TARGET from the website, installed and it found the HOTAS no problem. Jumped into the game and the buttons didn't match the inputs. Did a quick seach here and followed Dark Eagle's advice on finding the lua. files for the Warthog HOTAS Stick and Throttle. And the buttons worked. I'll have to re-map trim to the Toggle 1 as it's set to views and overides my Track IR. A little tinkering and I should be good to go. It's very smooth, heavy and precise. did a gun run on some huts and I think I'm more accurate then with my X52 Pro. Now I have to learn how to play the game.... but I think I have knocked down some barriers. This joystick will make this process a lot more intrinsic and natural. Going to be a few late nights ahead.

Well PC Case Gear supplied me with this damn heavy and shiny A10 stick. Just going through the motions of installing and testing. Yet to plug this in just (I have just arrived home) Hope it all works out!!!!

Thanks Teej for the heads up in regards to TARGET install. device detection is what I was hinting to when I was talking about the hotas issues. I'll follow your guide on wednesday when I get the unit and see how we go.

hey guys, mines arriving on Wednesday. I've read that some issues are with the TARGET software making some units brick? So when it arrives, just install the software and roll the dice? Or just use the A10 auto find till TARGET is sorted out? I'm stoked that you all love it. Makes the waiting harder...

32bit on, TIR software updated to support A10, TIR is reading the LED's outside of the game first, then load the A10. I had lots of troubles with TIR. get the clip I have the hat clip, and it does the job, but I think the USB powered LED's will give a better signal. I'm updating from my TIR4 to 5 and getting the clip. Do it.

I agree with everything SAM77 has said. The X52 Pro is what I would buy in that $200ish price bracket and have been using it for about 2 years now. I love the functionality of the X52 Pro and the only thing I would even dream of replacing it with would be the HOTAS Warthog and I think when I jump to the Warthog later this year I'm going to miss the large amount of buttons I have access too. If it broke tomorrow. I would buy another one, hands down the best asset in my sim hardware.

Big fan of your work. I loved Edge and watched it a million times before getting into Black Shark, I think this will be no different for DCS Warthog. I liked the pace, the music and the little things that get missed while playing it, like the sun glare, water reflections and so forth that you picked up on really makes this video something special. Good job again GA.

I just have been hosting these PNG files with imageshack, if there is a better way to host picture files I'm all ears. What do you guys use? Also I think the middle frame was pixelating too much so I re-edited the first post and, did a fresh upload. :)

In the AEF we write after action reports for the games we play, BC2, IL2, DCS, ArmA, ect, and the guys have a read and it helps motivate new comers into trying it out. I thought I'd try something a bit different with the million screenshots I have. So I made a comic strip. :) I hope you liked it. I've never used Photoshop before. And I'm very new to FC2 and I'm aware that some artistic license has been used here in terms of available game features, but never let the facts get in the way of a good yarn.

So once the 3D TV's without a need for glasses (already made by a 'german company' (see above vid) enter the market then console 3D gaming will take off? I think it will be a slow transition myself. So Black Shark in nVidia's 3D gear just gave people headaches?
