  1. Sorry to hear that man, what car did you two go look at or get? Thundervird 6 had issues on Saturday that halted their performanve till an hour os so after but was still a good showing.
  2. Small world, I went there on saturday and man was it hot, unfortunately the only pics I took were of the kiddos in a couple choppers...
  3. Oh man you are amazing! By far my favorite Axis aircraft.
  4. F-16c ;)
  5. The global political climate did create some of it but you can't blame us congress on all, everything these days that are on a global scale has politics involved and as such will be effected by it.
  6. It broke my heart when I heard they retired the birds... a huge asset lost. Them and dustoff pilots had our ultimate respect.
  7. It has to do with parts availability... simple and streight foreward, Russia has aligned with the Taliban and America obviously with the newly established trashbagistan gov... The proxy wars and all the typical bs that acompanies them are making a reemergence. As far as the afghans most are not formally euducated so any platform the has a shallow learning curve will be better to train them on then something a lot more complex...
  8. I'd rather see an Army variant since those have been the work horses and mainstay in the current GWOT theaters, majority of dustoff operations have been carried out by Army Blackhawk crews... Either way I would love to see any variant of that bird.
  9. Anyone opsec much? ;) They are used for a lot of different uses, and as trainers for opfor like the hinds that are opperated at ft. Polk tend to have the most experienced mi24 pilots in the world..
  10. Not trying to be mean or anything but the thread litterally below this one asked the exact same question...
  11. IRL the time on target is about the same for both. Though an f16 goes to more missions their actual mission time is less. As an a10 may engage a target for 1 hour an f16 may got to 4 calls and drop 4 bombs and be credited with 4 missions instead of one. From personal experience there is a huge difference in the effectivness of a cas strike with fast movers compared to slower aircraft that loiter let alone how close they can actually put their weapons to use when our lines are being probed... The biggest facter most people disregard that happens to be the most important is the time it takes to effectivley relay information over to the aircraft, even if the particular platoon has a jtac asset attached to it for said mission he is too important to be allowed on the front line with the pvts of said squad engaged and he will be back with weapons squad with the pl and platoon medic or with support by fire so the information gets relayed to a couple of people before he deciphers it and relays to aircraft and most kenetic engagment by that time the enemy has menauvered to a new position to counter our maneavers...
  12. My understanding was Hartman would fill his whole view with the enemy wingspan not just the sight, there were other German aces that did opposite, but the gyro is not to calculate distance it just calculates inpact in correlation to the change of direction from your aircraft.
  13. This sounds awesome, more planes to get my, "Danger Zone" on. Best of luck making it guys.
  14. Well hope this helps ease your pain with impatience. The wait for these or so far projection for mine is like a month and a half and we don't get charged till they are ready to ship, I've got thousands hung up on other items that i had to pay full: one I've been waiting 8 months for now ... so this wait isn't bad for me. Cheers man.
