  1. Try turning off the NWS first and then try it. Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk
  2. I know absolutely nothing about the refuel bug I would not be surprised if the engineers wouldn't have to prime the lines to get the pumps to work prior to starting the engine. I don't care what you do with the Sandbox but to report bugs for things that are outside of the known regime for an Aircraft is wasting everyone's time. I'll go see how fast I can push a tank with my gazelle and if it doesn't get to the speed I judge as acceptable I will report it as a bug. Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk
  3. My point is this we have a massive number of bugs in DCS if you want to operate the Aircraft even semi realistically and to brutally honest I want those fixed before I worry about the crank switch auto off is 2% late. I can't get more that 355knots with my gear down and if I run the Aircraft out of fuel it won't restart. If our Sim was perfect I would say go ahead and report but we have so much more that needs fixed that maybe we as a group should think about if we have really found a bug or just found something outside the realms of what ED is trying to simulate. As they are probably only trying to simulate how you would actually operate the Aircraft. Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk
  4. This comment alone shows me exactly how little comprehension of what a pilots job actually involves. Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk
  5. The only reason I commented is because this was similar to the bug report of I can only get to 355 of knots with the gear down . You are finding bugs that were probably outside of the testers remit, as they are outside of any reasonable way to operate the Aircraft. Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk
  6. That is exactly what I am saying. In real life Aircraft never run out of fuel. Now I will admit I had a friend who flew Lightnings who flamed out an engine taxying in but that is the only example I have ever heard of. I have 10,000 hours and 3000 military If I ever ran my aircraft out of fuel at any stage in my career I would no longer have a job. Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk
  7. My mistake I thought we were trying to simulate real life with this Sim. In which case it is totally irelavant. But then again if you just want to treat it as a game then I guess that's your choice ,however there are still a load of fixes required for the Sim that are relevant to everyone no matter whether they play DCS as a Sim or a game. 8. Ok I hate to say this but this is another time where you are producing a bug for the regime that never happens in real life. It is also something that should never happen in the Sim if you are operating realistically. Why do want ED to spend programming resources on a problem that should be totally irelevant. There is so much more to fix, don't want to appear difficult but there are only so many programming hours available. Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk
  9. My point is that it's irelevant only a TP on the F18C would know but I doubt they even a TP abused an airframe that much. ED only has so much programming time. So why try and fix something for a regime that you don't fly in. Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk
  10. Even if you have found a flight regime where the current flight model departs from reality do you really want ED to spend time fixing it when it is a regime you should never ever be flying in ? Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk
  11. While I agree that you should get the info to ED so they can fix it eventually , personally when I have a radar that loses lock when I manouver the Aircraft I will accept a 2% error in a crank switch if they would make the Aircraft A2A capable bvr. It's only in beta so I guess I shouldn't get too upset but it's frustrating when you can only use 25% of the Jets potential in its current form. I saw that IFF is to be implemented, but if the lock tenacity is not fixed then it's kind of irelavant. Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk
  12. Saw the same yesterday Radar appeared to go into mini Aquisition mode, also after a fairly mild barrel roll. Missile still hit the target. Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk
  13. I started the thread because I have fired plenty of A2G Strafe IRL and I have never seen any gun fire with anything close to the dispersion demonstrated in the F18 old or new gun. Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk
  14. Whats the deal with the gun spraying rounds everywhere especially noticeable in A2G. While I have no time in the F18c I have plenty of A2G time in the Tornado and cant believe the 18's gun is so dam inaccurate. To be more precise it looks like a dispersion problem.
  15. Just got told this fix by a buddy on the 16AGR I couldn't see the ships landing runway ( whatever you want to call it ) Line up markings until too late,it turned out it was because my Anisotropic Filtering was set to 2. After upping it to 16 suddenly the lines became clear. this isnt a problem on the Stennis thanks to the single white line. thought I would share just in case you are having the same problem.
  16. Sorry to disappoint but when you go supersonic in a Fighter nothing changes in the cockpit the only way you know you are supersonic is because the ASI reads Mach 1 .
  17. Thanks for the Video great feedback. On Alpha approach feels like you are flying at min drag speed, so any speed loss puts you on the wrong side of the drag curve . In the current flight models case the back side of the drag curve feels very steep tho maybe that’s the lack of momentum mentioned in the vid accentuating the problem. Look forward to the next video.
  18. I am curious as to what pilots use Monocular NVG's The issue would be lack of depth perception for things like close formation flying. I will admit I have only used binocular NVG's IRL hence the question
  19. Monocular NVGs are not used by Pilots tho. Please just fix the problem
  20. An unscratched Canopy in VR fantastic it looks correct now thanks RAZBAM
  21. Will that break pure client required ?
  22. Come on own up who hasn't lifted their VR goggles once to get a clearer look at something in the cockpit Update to day but I dont see any mention of NVG's !
  23. You mean because I wasn't flying a straight in David lol
  24. +1. Lights went out on final to gelendzik.
  25. Sorry no it doesn't but F410 has promised to work 24 hours a day to get us an initial implimentation. I will get some AOA buffet information from one of my colleagues so we have realistic buffet from the seat.
