  1. How do you know that the MiG-29 doesn't fly that way? In which way does the real one fly different? Source? Since most joysticks are 'slightly' shorter than the real stick and they require 'slightly' less force to move, it's quite logical that you need curves to compensate the difference.
  2. From the products page: Note: This is the exact same Su-33 that comes with DCS: Flaming Cliffs 3.
  3. Most of the time when updating the open beta, I'm forcing the 'update DCS world open beta' in the windows start menu. Today I've got this message. It's the same when trying to repair or even delete DCS. No mods installed. Thanx for your help in advance :)
  4. Confirmed. After a quick glance at the -1 it seems that both tones should be available with the gear down.

    Brakes

Yes, we all know how it works IRL. The point is that (at least) on the F/A-18 and the F-16 you need considerable more stopping distance than according to the performance charts. With or without a/skid. In both cases, a/skid on or off, the tires appear to stop rotating intermittently. The only difference is that the rubber marks are more dense with the a/skid off.

    Brakes

The F/A-18 has the same problem. Antiskid on or off doesn't make any difference except that directional control is better with antiskid on, but the brakes are definitely too weak on the F/A-18 as well.
  7. The funny thing is that the F-15 handles almost exactly the same, with the too stiff landing gear and the strong rebound, quite a few complaints since at least 5 years and still no change. This doesn't look too promising for the F-16 :(
  8. Have you watched the 20kts xwnd video? Again, you don't take out the crab before touchdown.
  9. No, it's not supposed to happen and there are already a few threads/reports about this problem.
  10. I'm amazed by EDs customer support. A really unfriendly rant and BIGNEWY downloads, troubleshoots and posts a polite response and explanation within a few minutes. Very impressive. :) (Whish I would be that calm and friendly!)
  11. The general behavior isn't too far off IMO, the problem is that the tires have the correct grip for the (full) weight on wheels case, although you have just touched down.
  12. Have you installed any mods?
  13. Incorrect for the F-16 (and many other aircraft). You do land in full crab.
  14. Although not easy, at least 20kts xwnd component are presently doable. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4077094&postcount=16
  15. Thanx for this detailed info:thumbup:
  16. I am talking about sensitivity, not g onset.
  17. So with +15 (or 0) it's apparently realistic.
  18. 17:08 uh, pitch is a little sensitive
  19. Great video. Looking very much forward to the second part!
  20. With the two levers on the left side of the cockpit you can counter the drop-like-a-brick tendency ;)
  21. Tested both, on the runway ready for departure and cold & dark on the ramp.
  22. FYI, replay accuracy depends a lot on the aircraft being used.
  23. I doubt that a fatigue fracture can be detected during preflight or regular maintenance.
  24. 1. Seriously? 2. if you want to stay away from stall speed you reduce the flap setting?
