reported earlier DSMS not loading weapon info
MadTommy replied to Megagoth1702's topic in Bugs and Problems
Run into the same problem... 1.1.1.1 Made a mission where my HOG had Ferry Flight payload.. travel pods & fuel pods.. I then used the same mission as the base for the next mission.. but this time had a combat payload. No matter what i did the DSMS would always show the the payload from previous mission. Reloading DSMS.. Using inventory to reset it up.. I tried deleting the plane and resetting it up.. Deleting the plane and setting it up with a new name & new payload.. same issue. Nothing works.. I'll try deleting the DSMS folder... and report back.. EDIT: Deleting the DSMS folder fixed this,Thanks for the tip. -
There are several ways to do the 1st.. but if you have found a way.. cool 99.9% sure there is no way to rearm without a FARP or airfield.

Looking good.

Love RoF.. i don't play it enough... so always get a good ole spanking online! I'll be happily supporting 777 with further dollars no doubt in 2012. Pre-order prices, non pre-order in brackets. EDIT:.. hmm the Felixtowe F.2A looks fun.:)

I understand. I'm just letting you know that Vipre security has flagged the site.. no indication of why, and it does not matter what browser i use. Maybe a email to Vipre could clear this for you. http://kb.gfi.com/supportcontact

I assume so.. but just info for the 4c lads. Vipre is normally pretty good.. i normally only see that block when i'm being a naughty boy :music_whistling:

Just as a heads up.. :/

However they are not displayed on the TAD when you are in mission mode. That is what i was trying to achieve. Like it displays multiple Mark points.. this is what i wanted to be able to do with Nav Points. I assume it is not possible. But being in Mission Mode and cycling through them to display one at a time is probably the best i can hope for. Thanks EDIT: I'm reluctant to venture into 'prepare mission', its a pita ;)

Hit the lead with a maverick.. circle round and hit them with a CBU. Once they take a hit they tend to park up for a bit.

Welcome .. If you want your Abris & Shkval on the 2nd monitor..start here.. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=60815 Should guide you through it.

Sorry cant help.. but on a silly note.. if you fly through wind speed over 190 knots (or is mph) the mission simply automatically ends.. :) http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1346826&postcount=8

Ok i've had a very quick look.. I thought you could affect radar state in Advanced Options.. but this is not an option.. You have the choice of making things 'invisible' or 'turning AI off'. I suppose turning AI on & off is the best option to simulate this... EDIT: Ok i did a test with AI on & off. 3 scenarios.. Osa Vs F-16c bl.52d (fully armed) 1st: Osa AI on for 10 seconds.. then A1 off.. F16c outside Osa range when AI on. F16 either never sees it or ignores it. 2nd: Osa AI on for 10 seconds.. then A1 off.. when F16c inside range..Oas AI on.. F16 engages and kills with anti-radar missile. 3rd: Osa AI on for 10 seconds.. then A1 off.. when F16c inside range..Oas AI on for 10 seconds then off again.. F16 engages and kills with Maverick while Osa AI is off. So.. if the SEAD flight detects the SAM but then the SAM AI goes off it goes in for the kill anyway...

Yeah a good way to limit the use of SEAD but still allow it to do ts role would be good... some good ideas here. I'll try some tests with SEAD & radar switching off & on scenarios.. I must admit i assumed the SEAD would kill any AA threat radar on or off, as they seem to see AAA threats with no radar with no restrictions well beyond eyeball range.

I mostly agree, but i like Tungushas.. as i think they are a tipping point / or the premium threat.. you can deal with them in the A10c if you know how and can find them, but they are damn dangerous. Also personally I find a Strela 10 the most dangerous as they give no warning.. I like SAMs in the AO.. but i agree with StrongHarm they should not be the primary target but something to avoid or overcome to reach a target. One thing i hate about SEAD flights.. they just come in like super flights, see everything and often kill everything with such ease there is little point even bothering.. might as well just place some dead SAMs and at the mission start.

No.. Overclock that E8400 and you'll have no problems. I have a E8400 @ 3.6Ghz.. can play the sim modded settings maxed out with 50fps.. to need to upgrade.

Flying mission with no creditable threat might be 'realistic' but it is also dull as dish water. IRL mission last for hours and more often than not use no munitions and engage nothing.. doesn't make for good entrainment after a long day at work! I much prefer dodging SAMs while searching for targets.. its what makes the sim exciting. Not that all mission need to have SAM threats to be fun.. but i understand why many do.

Cheap Saitek X52 Pro Joystick?
MadTommy replied to killersurfer501's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Patience and ebay was the key for me. -
There are suitable sounds within the DCS installation folder. Unfortunately due to a HDD failure in my gaming rig i cant check to let you know where the files are located. But if you search your DCS folder for *.wav & *.ogg there are some good ones you can use. From memory i used click.ogg (i think)

Random Triggers and Group Activation
MadTommy replied to Habu23's topic in User Created Missions General
There is a pretty simple and robust way to do this. I use it on almost all my missions. Mission Start > Random 50% > Set Flag 1 Mission Start > Random 50% > Set Flag 2 Once > Flag 1 True & Flag 2 True > Set Flag 3 Once > Flag 1 False & Flag 2 True > Set Flag 4 Once > Flag 1 True & Flag 2 False > Set Flag 5 Once > Flag 1 False & Flag 2 False > Set Flag 6 Once > Flag 3 True > Activate Groups 1 Once > Flag 4 True > Activate Groups 2 Once > Flag 5 True > Activate Groups 3 Once > Flag 6 True > Activate Groups 4 Flag 3 - 6 all have a 25% chance of being active, only one can become active. :pilotfly:
