That is because you most likely ran it in full screen. You need to use 'windowed mode' when not using SoftTH. I have no idea if SoftTH is the problem, but removing it and then testing will either point to the problem or eliminate it from the possible causes.

Your lua looks ok to me... I'd try it without SoftTH..

I flew a quick night mission in the Ka-50.. I soon quit as i could not get the NVG to work where i was able to see the pit & the outside world. The NVGs seem knackered but i did not spend long trying and somewhat assumed it was user error as i have not flown with NVGs for ages. NVGs were very grainy and no fun to use.

Such an option would be a very nice addition!

Just flew my 1st 1.2.3 Ka-50 mission. And i encountered some serious 'bloom' that was not good. (The sun was at about 10:30, i.e ahead and a bit left) These were taken from the same time, but with my head slightly turned away from the sun. By moving my head about 1 degree i could make the bloom appear and disappear...not great. Sun glare is fine, but this is way overboard. Is anyone else getting this kind of massive bloom? Would changing my HDR setting help? Is this a bug? My Settings: I've been using these settings fro ages.

Lockon for £3-£5 There is no DRM / security on the lockon disk.. so wherever you can buy an original disk you should be golden. You don't even need to run it or patch it or similar, just install it, then install FC3, then you can delete LockOn. And on another comment.. BlackShark should be considered, great sim. (complicated & hard but rewarding)

That choice is really horses for courses, impossible for someone to say which is better. FC3 you get 5 or so aircraft type, allowing several different roles to be played, allowing you to take part in a combined battlefield environment, playing SEAD, Air supremacy & ground pounding with A10c & BlackShark. FC3 is obviously lower fidelity than other DCS modules.. but more accessible. (easier to get into with limited time) With P51 you get the finest, highest fidelity WWII single plane sim, but presently you don't really have much to fly with or against set in a similar historical era. Personally i'd get both..:) But if i had to choose it would be FC3.

I agree, if elements that are broke and have been fixed can be pushed out via the autoupdate independently of the rest of the patch they should be. I can only guess releasing the patch piece meal might be less efficient in terms of EDs development time. But that is just a guess. There must be a logical reason.

I see little point of having a shiny new model and other content if the game keeps crashing. Prefer to wait for a stable release. There are other flight sims & hobbies i enjoy that can fill the gap. I've not played for a couple of months, I find extended breaks greatly enhances my enjoyment when i do come back to play. So selflessly, yes, a few more months is fine with me :P Obviously it would be nice if it was all working and they could release now..

I'd prefer to wait another 6 months for a stable 1.2.3 than have a unstable one released tomorrow.

I'm hoping for big things with the next patch.. it feels like we have been stuck in limbo for ages. Hope to see something soon.

Yes should be possible, and it will have a negative effect upon fps. However i have no idea if the negative effect would be significant or a show stopper. (any increase in total screen resolution will make the graphics card work harder.) What kind of fps do you get using just the main monitor?

Whilst i agree with the general gist of your view there is no point being a condescending ass with it. Anyway glad progress is being made and 1.2.3 is on the move again.

Auto updater get included in patch... we get about 10 updates in as many days... Now we get nothing... seems odd, someone must have broken something good and proper.

The other option is to use the copy & paste functionality. Setup one flight as intended, then copy it for however many planes you need. Add each flight to the trigger you require. Either way you need to find a way to make it work with what you have.. as Grimes said this has been a limitation from day one.. you just have to live with it and find a workaround solution that suits you best.

Set an aircraft to AFAC..make him fly over enemy units, tune into his radio frequency.. bob's your uncle & fanny is your aunt.

I've just tested this.. and yes something is seriously fubar. Tried setting up pinpoint & ground attack strikes.. both messed up. Numerous issues, i suggest a tester try as that is the best way to review the problems. Very easy to replicate. This should be in ME bug section.
