  1. So reading through some publications for the Huey/cobra and found reference to Flechette rocket rounds. I think it would be pretty cool to have this included because right now it can be quite difficult to take out infantry targets. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Hey if you can’t find any real life Huey pilots I would like to help. I fly the UH-60A/L but learned on the Bell 206 and OH-58A/C. I also fly with a lot of former Huey pilots so it shouldn’t be hard for me to get detailed information. I can also help you interpret the the aircrew training manual and help come up with ideas for training scenarios.   3. So the Ft Rucker skin that actually comes with the module is actually the paint scheme for the TH-67 which I like but it just doesn’t feel right. What I would actually like is the original paint scheme from the 80s and 90s. I know someone has already made it before from this post http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3976927/FT_Rucker_Huey_(DCS) but I can’t find the actual skin to download. A-10C NVG effect error report and recommendations by 2.5ob The cockpit is blurry in real life anvis-6 (army’s version of anvis-9) does not have auto focus if you want to look inside the cockpit you have to look under the NVGs Also haven’t tried out NVGs in 2.5 yet but if they do have the smaller ring in should work better with VR that is if it is similar to Frenchy’s mod. Again I haven’t tested it out yet but have they finally created an automatic brightness control I didn’t think it was very realistic having to set your own brightness.   17. Now that we have some nice trees can we get rid of them? Ok so I’m trying to test it out now and it doesn’t seem to be working for me I just spawn in the trees and blow up.   19. As a helicopter guy I love the new collide trees flying noe has more consequences now if you screw up. But one thing I have noticed is that a lot of the clearings are on steep slopes. Most helicopters can land only on an 8-15 degree slope. So I think it would be cool if we had a tool that could clear the trees in a given area so that we can make our own LZs.   21. 58D is pretty different from the 58a/c and unfortunately I don’t think they are making the 58D anymore for DCS http:// https://www.helisimmer.com/news/polychop-talks-future-shows-oh-58/ the 58D would be a lot more useful but I will never turn down a helicopter.   22. I think the Huey is more prolific because of Vietnam but the OH-58/bell206 for a lot of military aviators is what we learned on. Prolific I guess for different reasons. I can’t tell you how exciting it is to fly the 58 doors off for the first time low level it is just amazing. I get why people may not want 58a/c in the game because it is not that useful for how we play the game but it still would be fun nonetheless. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
