  1. Sweet dude! Great way to revive this thread too! Rocketeer where are you?
  2. PM sent back I need your email!
  3. I can ride my bike with no hands but wheres the fun in that, I agree a joystick is in order for you its a must have for simming!
  4. Anyone that puts that much work into his pit has to have a few screws loose but thats perfectly fine in my book actually everyone should loosen a few screws just for good measure! Always great to see your progress Trigger Cheers
  5. I thought they just opened up the canopy and let it rain..........
  6. Wow man awesome stuff!
  7. No problem glad to help! If for some reason I forget to send the profile PM me, I have bad short term memory!
  8. Yeah supposed to be out soon, things can change though.
  9. All you should need to do is select the profile for LOMAC within the TrackIR software and you may want to disable the zoom axis for view (I prefer not having it). Sometimes there are issues with trackIR and you have to delete a Trackir file in the game directory, when you start the game the second time this file is re-created. I don't remember where or which file that is at the moment.
  10. You and me both, I knew SimHQ had a lot of articles but theres lots of treasure to be found! Thanks for the links Crunch.
  11. Maybe not so much............... Hope we see him around despite everything thats happened he has a lot to offer to the community.
  12. I have one but I cant get it to you until this evening. Another thing worth noting is that you'll need the latest drivers and SST software. And one more thing is you may not like my set up but at least my buttons are labeled (you can hold the clutch button and press any button to get its label on the LCD). Hitch
  13. LOVP or virtual panel I think, never tried it but if thats what you're getting at I'm with you, I'd like to put an old monitor behind a panel and use it for gauges. Would definitely up the immersion and cool factor!
  14. I don't know why it happens but I get this too. As an example I had wheel brakes set to bands on my rudder pedals and when I would press the brake the keyboard wouldnt respond. If I let go of the brake then it worked. I think it has to do with not liking certain combinations or maybe its an issue with SST/Programming soft. The latter makes sense if you program a stick thru SST or eq. its basically a keyboard encoder at that point and too LOMAC may only like one keyboard command at a time.
  15. LMAO so do I 300+ rotor collisions but I'm getting better........
  16. But who flies in external? How can you see the gauges?
  17. I don't really see them as a pain right now so I don't know what you mean. What are you trying to say by clicking and re-sizing/moving them. Gauges arent supposed to move they stay where they're mounted and if you want them bigger/smaller theres pills for that.....
  18. Simmeters had a lot of cool stuff in the works be great to see if they're still around kicking! I know from reading up on their stuff in the past they're not the greatest at releasing info or giving updates. Weren't they making an IO Card with an s*&t-load of inputs?
  19. Yeah he mentioned the track will be available! Sweet thanks for the heads up look forward to checking this out.
  20. Thats good to know thanks Jim. Cant wait to see all the extra info!
  21. I have the pro but the max res I can get is 1024x768 due to the limitations to my projector. Its a win win situation either way because I have the cards already, just the chore of swapping them out to find out! I guess I need to get off my butt and do it. At least one machine is getting a makeover with 2 8600GTs in SLI (if it works). Thanks for all the help really appreciate it. EDIT: As for DX10 not really interested yet and don't want Vista.
  22. Ditto for sure then when you do play on easy it'll be a cake walk! EDIT: If you even want to go back to easy after that.........
  23. As for whos gonna print and read the manual, I will, already printed it and already reading it. But its a study sim so its not supposed to be easy and the learning curve is what its about otherwise we'd all be playing HAWX lol! Dont worry I've been playing for a week and a half and have a long way to go learning things so practice makes perfect, you'll get it! Lots of great people here to give advice to you and if it still frustrates you the sim does have scalable difficulty settings but wheres the fun in that.:pilotfly:
