  1. Check your spam about the registration process there, they really do help over there!
  2. You could mod a Saitek Aviat8r into a collective, not much money too (after you buy the stick of course)!
  3. I think the answer is not yet but hopefully in the future, anyone wanna re-create Northern California? Some killer Red Dawn like missions for sure!
  4. Hey your in the pacific time zone right? If so we'll have to get together for some multiplayer gaming with Cat and DCS-Mercs,
  5. Yeah you might post this in the Bug forum or search to see if anyone else is having similiar issues with a similiar setup. But I stick to my guns about it being a game setup issue, if it works fine in the control panel properties. Wish I had some more ideas................
  6. I'm not sure but the knob in question is more likely a rotary encoder or rotary switch. There are ways to get around that I think but not sure which way, lots of good guys here that probably do know!
  7. Wow thats really simple I guess the trick will be figuring out what button does what after that! And now that I think of it wont you need to attach a wire from the Shift key to every other key that has a shift+(?) command? You'd need a board just to sort out the wires from shift/alt/ctrl. Sounds fun!
  8. I'll have to give Autohotkey a try as well really want to try Schwinns Keyboard hack idea!
  9. Very Cool!
  10. Damn Crc thats one smoking set up, l33t is a younger way of putting it!
  11. Are you using the latest driver for your stick? If your stick is working as it should in the Control Panel Properties its got to be a an in game setting make sure nothing is double mapped in your axis' commands and check the axis' tuning options again.
  12. It really depends on the needs and plan of your overall pit design. Some guys try to recreate the look and feel of the real thing which I agree momentary switches only go so far. Personally I'm ok with those sacrifices, as I dont go for the real look. It really depends on what your going to do in the long run and what your willing to live with. Still this keyboard hack here will save loads of cash that could be better spent on switches and other cool things!
  13. Well you could make an authentic ejection seat replica but it would probably be authentically uncomfortable too! Go with what feels right it will probably be a comfy seat for long flights! Wifes are always right to some degree I guess............ just don't tell her I said that lol!
  14. Awesome work man, you need switches but with that keyboard hack you at least have 100 spots to use those switches!
  15. Holy smokes your building a robot too!
  16. Oh yeah dude, your stuff looks great! My projects are all generic looking/feeling and look prehistoric, I gotta work on asthetics...... not you!
  17. What if hes in his Keanu Reeves form?
  18. LOL someone got it! Can you put a price on peace? All smiles on your blacktooth grins!
  19. Awesome love to see it as I'd thought of this too but the board always throws me off!
  20. Great, so far so good so what!
  21. A better idea is to simulate that proverbial dog that will bite the pilot if he touches anything! Hell throw in a real dog and you'd have your first sim/reality crossover!
  22. Absolutely some of just like having the pedals though myself included. I suggest you purchase whatever you want. Me, I'm a "rudder pedal, gotta have a controller for everything" kinda-guy. Honsetly the best sim related controller purchases are a HOTAS and TrackIR IMHO.
  23. Me either for the matter^
  24. Yeah I can figure out how he does it but what about everyone else who dont have the mill?
