  1. Nobody else that know where to find a link for downloading v1.3.0?
  2. DCS 2.7 is only released into the Open Beta, not into the stable version. So if you are on the stable version you will get a message to upgrade to 2.7 when that day comes. (they jumped to 2.7 there is no 2.5.7). If you dont want to wait for the release to the stable version you have two options, 1. Install another installation for the open beta 2. Update your stable version to open beta, see the thread below for how to do it. I would recommend option 1 though because Open Beta is Open Beta, it can crash quite often for example. That way you have your untouched stable version that you can use if you think the Open Beta crashes to often for your taste. The Open Beta v2.7 also introduced some bugs for the Hornet like laser mavs not functioning so be aware that there may be such things also.
  3. @rausNice work, but where do I find the link for v 1.3.0? On the first page its just a link to version 1.1.20 Does this work with missions saved in DCS 2.7?
  4. The 2.7 Open Beta crashes for me relatively often, its an Open Beta so its nothing extraordinary. The sad part though is that when it crashes in VR in my Rift S, I cant send the crash report to ED, I cant click on the button because when it crashes in VR it makes it out of focus or something. When it crashes when I use 2D screen it works ok, I can click to send the crash report then. So if ED does not get many crash reports from VR users it might not be because its running fine but instead that its not possible to send the crash report.

  6. They also need to make the files containing the units editable, like USA.lua, they where in scripts\database\troops

  9. Indeed much appreciated, a question, you are writing what elevations the layers are at, does that mean that the slider for base is not functional yet? I did some testing and thought that it was functional and that the presets would be applied above the base set by the slider, perhaps I did not notice that it was not functional yet.
  10. No, but does it have to be to be a valid wish for those that do use the pilot model in their cockpits? Its funny with in-cockpit bodies, there are many threads where someone wants it implemented in an aircraft and someone who does not like it derails the thread by doing all they can to present evidence to why it should not be implemented for anyone. I mean they could just press Lshift + P to turn it off and let the ones that wants it have the possibility to turn it on so everyone could be happy. You never see someone that wants it trying to provide reasons on the forum to why it should be mandatory turned on for everyone. Wierd. To me, if a module dont have in-cockpit body I dont fly it because I think it makes the VR experience so much less than with it. I have no problems with obscured switches, I just have a button on the mouse mapped to turn the body on/off.
  11. Are there any plans to put the kneeboard on the pilots leg as in the Hornet? So its readable in VR without having to turn on the actual kneeboard. In the Hornet this works very well in VR, its perfectly readable in my Rift S and thats not even the best headset.
  12. No never got any info on it. The problem is that you can delete aliases for keywords but not keywords so to say so if you import one wrong and want to get rid of it only option is factory reset. How did you manage to delete imported keywords (segments) and not only aliases?
  13. There is also another problem with missile in zone, the number. If you and your wingman would fire a AGM-65 for example at the same time that enters the trigger zone and detonates with less than 1 second spacing you wont trigger a Missile in zone, AGM-65, 1 trigger because there will always be either 0 or 2 missiles in the zone. To rule out that problem you must create a OR condition so you can check for both 1 and 2. The problem becomes bigger if you want to trigger for salvo fired rockets or gun rounds, then you need many OR conditions. This condition would be much easier to use if the number was the MINIMUM number of missiles in a zone at a given time instead of the ABSOLUTE but that is not the case sadly.

  15. Could the big L on "Little hint" be another clue? A black Little-Bird is what im thinking eventhough I heard its not possible due to classification..
  16. What MFD pages do you use in a Air To Air engagement against a similar opponent? Would be interesting to know how people set it up. With the addition of the AZ/EL page I started trying to put that on the left MFD, radar on the right and SA on the center. I have found though that I think I have to skip it and put the EW on the left because Im loosing situational awareness, having the RWR on the HUD or SA makes those to cluttered for me to be able to quickly understand the information and the backup RWR is so small and slighty obscured if you have raised the seat to high. In an all out BVR fight against a similar opponent, no need for visual identification so now need for FLIR, how do you do it?
  17. The most bizzare thing about DCS is that these conditions are not in the ME, specially since it can be done for AWACS and EWRs with a simple script already. This is a huge gamechanger.

  19. No there are no towed artillery. A Russian mortar is the closest thing there is.
  20. Diagrams for when to start diving to a target if you want to drop your bombs in a 30-degree dive for example. And pop-up profile diagrams.

Hello If you use the fantastic function for importing F10 commands as so called "aux segments" in VAICOM PRO, is it possible to delete them if you made a misstake of importing one or dont want one anymore? The thing is, in the keywords editor it is possible to delete aliases for segments but there is no button for deleting segments, I guess the user should only be able to delete imported "aux segments" and not all that comes with VAICOM PRO. Or is the only way of getting rid of a aux segment to reset VAICOM PRO to factory defaults? Does anyone know?
  23. The kneeboard was updated not so long ago and got a new look with much thinner frames, they also added small buttons for switching pages and the ability to adjust size and position. Could you have missed that? I actually miss the frame myself but I guess its the prize of progress.
