  1. Nice to see that the problem with AI not matching the setting for the anti-collision light is fixed! Could we get some info if its planned to have a working kneeboard on the new First-Person Hornet pilots leg like the old pilot body had? I really missed that because I only used that and never had had to open the big kneeboard. If so is that also planned for the Viper pilot?
  2. Well, the wheels may not have been sunk in for long but the wheels for AI and static AJS-37 have been levitating for some years now as far as I know. Most likely you are will have to wait years for fixes for these issues also Im afraid.
  3. I also have a G2 and will try this tool that I did not know existes when I get back home. Since I dont really understand how it works could you say what buttons you pressed or values you changed in the tool when it showed up on the screen when you started DCS? What steps you did so to say

  5. You should be able to move the camera to the right or left using keybinds. I always move it forward at mission start in the Viggen and that works. You have to do it in the beginning of every mission though, I have not found a way to edit the default position in a lua file but I guess thats possible for those that know how. And Im using VR also.

  7. Good! There cant be any logical reasons to why someone would want to see their own head in a FIRST person view. Really like the new kneeboard, looking forward to getting the pages working on it, I only use the one on the leg of the pilot so its great that the new one is a little bigger.
  8. I know its a known bug that the salute command does not work, but what do I need to do as a work around? I have afterburner detent to always off in special options but I still cant issue the salute command to get launched from the carrier? I dont get what else I need to do to not use the afterburner detent
  9. Have a i5 12600k, RTX 3080, 64GB DDR5 and Reverb G2 V2. Just tweaked my settings for 2.9 after first tweaking them for the Reverb that I got not long ago coming from a Rift S. Im pretty happy with how it runs now, running at 60Hz I get solid 60 fps i Persian Gulf, Caucasus, Nevada and South Atlantic. Only some local places in Syria cause drops down to 50 fps. Perhaps you can find some inspration in my settings, its in swedish but I think you understand it. Attaching them. The wierd thing is that I when I switched from Rift S to Reverb G2 I must have accidently changed something using these settings because I got a huge performance increase together with much sharper image. (That was i 2.8 with MSAA). I think it was something in BIOS or Nvidea Control Panel. Now with 2.9 its even better. I also have a alternate thats pretty ok and that is DLAA instead of DLSS and Pixel Density 0.7 instead of 1.0. But now I run as im the zip, DLSS and Pixel Density 1.0. If its possible to fix it for 2.9, please try to see if it could be possible to add a parameter for controlling the distance between each each eyepiece in VR, it was possible in 3Dmigoto VR Mod and was called convergence in that. If that mod perhaps now is dead with the release of 2.9 then this mod is my only hope for non-fullview NVGs in DCS until ED finally decides to add it themselves in the core.
  12. Been trying that, and it can be a pretty big help if you dont know how to code lua like me. However the scripts it generates dont always work, for me it could make up functions that are not present in DCS and when I asked it about that it admitted that the script would not work and said In sorry and then sent another script instead.
  13. +1 It is wierd that there not is a selectable condition in the ME for this since it is possible to accomplish it already with a pretty simple script there.
  14. +1 Hornet, F16 and Viggen all dont have it.
  15. If you download it from the link you posted and load it into Blender it says that it is an official plugin from ED in version 1.0.0. I have not gotten it to work though. But this was a suprise to me regardless.

  17. Thats wierd. You are going to need to select RenderNode to make the lights visible so using that to toggle wont work. And your saying that even if you open the file I sent you and export then you dont get a EDM with arguments like the one I sent?
  18. @tobi do you have any idea what could cause your Blender exporter to not export a argument for Disable in renders? I have been trying to help him but I cant think of why its not working.
  19. There is a duplicate texture for IFR-VFR table below radar scope on the right and lower edges. Small thing but still its there so a bug. Does anyone know by the way if this table can be changed by editing the texture for it if you do a cockpit livery for example? I have found the image file containing the texture but when I change it nothing happens, its like its hardcoded into the model or something. This table has a lot of shimmering in VR, I was therefore trying to change it to get rid of it but I have not been able to alter it.
  20. No one else who has a convergence problem in VR?
  21. I used this great mod for my Rift S in VR for quite some time with great joy. Just recently switched to Reverb G2 and now I have a problem. Is there any way of tweaking the files so that the rings for each eye comes closer together? I think its called convergence. Now I see two rings that dont overlap when I look with both eyes, if I close one I see only one? Is this possible @Taz1004?
  22. Hello, can someone help me explain how to change the roughmet texture so that I can make the nose in bare metal silver look? Is it possible? I have been unsuccessful so far when I tried to change the red and orange in it.
  23. You mean the setting in DCS? If so then yes. But that only controls how big the cockpit appears to be, things outside is not affected. If you go to an external view its not affected. I do think though that the scale of objects in the VR hanger where you have the main menu is correct, things seem to be the right size there, like the Su27 that is there default, that dont appears small at all. If you would look at it in external view when the sim is running it would appear much smaller.
  24. Been flying again, tried to take a screenshot but it did not show the issue. When I taxi my hornet around Nellis its like Im sitting in a car, with my seat not so far from the tarmac. Its like me and my aircraft is so small. It was not like this before the last update.
