Can't do this with the Dora at least, you'll need to compensate a lot with the controls if you go from idle to max. Not sure about the Mustang though, haven't flown it in ages.
"Prepare mission" was originally implemented for the Shark, where you could input waypoints etc. into the ABRIS then save what you'd done. AFAIK it was never meant to save the complete state of an aircraft and initialize it before starting a mission.
Me neither. Full systems modelling with great FMs is the edge ED has over the others, so take those away and what you'll end up with is something I'd find pretty boring myself.
Any idea when the A gets a rocket loadout? Because against soft targets, the rockets on the D actually do a good job and I'd like to see the A get those as well.
It doesn't need to be changed. Just speak generally and describe how something is done somewhere. Just don't mention any names and no rule, that I know of at least, is broken.
The hi-perf props, OTOH, do not. Or at least the Dora and the Stang don't IIRC, been awhile since I've last checked. No recollection of the others though, since I really haven't flown them at all.
The AI uses simplified FMs that make them somewhat UFOish. So it's not a human-controlled FM bug per se, but rather a discrepancy giving the AI an unrealistic advantage over their human opponents.
He never said they are. He said "every person THAT comes in here bitching".
But if you're looking for complaints here's one. For crying out loud, give us a German ATC / ground crew for DCS WW2! Kills the immersion quite totally having to communicate in American English (or Russian) when you're flying Axis
No, I said the claims of ED doing so are BS because of threads like this existing. Don't know if I expressed myself badly or what, but that was what I meant.
Just 2 things.
1) I'd like to see EA modules completed in a more timely manner. Some don't seem to get any dev time at all after release.
2) Yah, they just censor all criticism and ban folks for presenting it? BS. And proven as such by this very thread.
Most v2.5.5 patches have run consistently well for me. There was one that caused some stuttering a while back, but the latest is again performing much better than any previous major versions did. So you geezers must've done something right at least ;)
Don't know why this isn't adressed, or if it even needs to be, but as Sydy said this probably happens because of the generator cutting out due to low engine RPM.
