Still one copy of DCS:BlackShark @ LondonDrugs in Chilliwack BC!

never did figure it out....affinity works, but not as well as it does without the mod enabled. And you cannot activate in windowed mode i believe. Anyway, most did not appreciate the fps hit, although I only noticed a 2-5fps hit......it all depends on the system i guess. Here are the only files I have of the packs i put together. I have experimented with many of the ENB .dll's on his site. Some work, some don't....some allow you to add a color tint for effect! If you would like i could dig up all my old files on this and give you more info on which ones are good and bad. *some are better for xp/vista users. Here is an example of a yellow tint...makes early morning look more natural i think!

Oddly enough tho, it is listed on the LondonDrugs.com website. These same stores exist here, and do not stock it. I have noticed less PC titles on the shelves lately... ...but now that I think back on it, there has never been a Sim or game or movie that I could not find on Canadian shelves... It might have taken me a week to locate LO:FC, and even longer to get an Xbox copy of America's Army... but I found them. I think I'll just order the English boxed copy sooner to the patch release date, and be done with it. For some reason it feels like giving up. I will not be bumping this thread any further, unless of course it does hit shelves...

Still no BlackShark in these locations as of this date. :cry:

It was organized a member on the http://www.hovercontrol.com/ forums...near the bottom they have a forum for Dodosim support, as there isn't one on the Dodo site itself. Good info on these forums, as well as a teamspeak server, and flight server once you register and download the right programs. DodoFest was held on Gamespy, and my frames happened to be really good; dropped to 20-25fps with Fraps running!

As far as I'm concerned, [TFC/ED] are doing a lot of work to bring something to everyone, even some unexpected work on LockOn:FC. This patch may not 'fix' all of the issues we have, but nevertheless we are assured they are doing they're best to put collidable trees and better AI into the DCS sim. I remember words to this effect; "take your frustration, multiply by ten, and you'll be close to how [TFC/ED] feels!" I'm pretty sure it's been said that the limitations of the current engine are the reason for the trees being only shaders, correct me if I'm wrong. In the new DCS:Warthog engine, will we not see collidable trees?? Anyway, they brought us DCS:BlackShark in a condition a little less than perfect, with the promise of patches and a new engine down the road...and we knew all this before we purchased our copy! The patch is more or less on-track; so is DCS:Warthog. We can be patient, positive, and supportive..... ...or we can act like unsupervised children on a Halo forum, and act superior to one another, argue, and be downright negative. Your choice... I say, :thumbup: Bravo TFS/ED, cant wait for the new patch/fixes, and bring on DCS:Warthog!!

Do you have the Dodosim, Diveplane? It is practically the only thing i fly in FSX now! Also, there is a NVG mod out that uses the ENBseries mod you may be interested in. Those 3D lights are the only reason i fly at night!

After a couple hours in the SP demo, I think I can wait for a month or two to buy this. When is the ACE mod coming out? Oh, tried flying the Huey, what a laughable flight model!! I thought i would enjoy being a tranport pilot in MP and just ferrying troops, but this is obviously a 'soldier sim'!

No, two different errors, CRC is missing file XXXX... Whatever, it's released today in Canada so I'll just buy it! EDIT: Downloading demo through Steam now, 48% done in 10 minutes?!

Ha, I've downloaded the demo from 2 different locations, and both are corrupted!! I've had the worst luck getting any program to run lately!

Well, two and-a-half months, and no DCS:Black Shark on store shelves in Canada as far as I can tell. NO copies have been shipped to LondonDrugs, still on back-order...unless their computer system is fouled up and the boxes are sitting in a warehouse under diapers and mouthwash. I don't suppose there is any news from Take2 about their efforts to manufacture more product and get it onto Canadian shelves?

Wow, I've tried to join about 10 servers; 1 successful join, 2 missed, 7 crashes(this program not responding).

One word review.....BUGGY!
