    Cockpit clock

Hi guys, According to NATOPS, there is an analog clock in the cockpit (checklists also mention it). It should be located where the square black panel is in this picture (https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3350852&postcount=26). ED didn't miss it since they did include it in some older screenshots. Can anyone explain why/when was the clock removed (in real life) from the jets?
  3. Thank you for your hard work!, do you have any updates on some of the missing cockpit functionality (HUD brightness for example)?
  4. I agree! it would be cool if they add that.
  5. There are some sections that lack a proper explanation of a switch /instrument functionality. I hope those can be fixed as well. Thank you for your work !
  6. What are you guys bashing RAZBAM for? I mean- sure the manual isn't complete and the plane is missing features, but I am sure they will get to it (I am just as sad as you are about it). It's clear that they are not prioritizing the M2k at the moment, but they will get back to it and fix all the issues 100%. Why am I so sure? because if they don't, it will seriously hurt their credibility, to the point some people will reconsider buying their next module. No company wants that. Ralfi clearly stated that he is still learning the plane (and yes- at the moment, it is a hard thing to do - but it is very possible). The last video he posted flying the Mirage, he didn't even flip the cat switch. So every rookie mistake he made in that video is his fault. We all made those stupid mistakes, we all got frustrated and we all have our funny stories. This is how you learn things.
  7. Yeah - that's what I meant- thanks for correcting me.
  8. As far as I know, only the JHMCS was confirmed by ED as part of the hornet. You shouldn't balance planes. If the plane didn't have that particular system in real life, it should not have it in the sim.
  9. That's amazing!
  10. yes, 1.5.5.
  11. On mission 9, flight lead won't taxi out.
  12. Well, I don't think you can. This watch has a chronometer, with a 15 minutes counter (that's actually where you are looking). That needle should not move unless the chronometer is engaged. http://www.cockpitclock.com/DODANE.html (I think it's the same one shown in this link)
  13. Are the IFF codes in the mission briefings relevant? (I mean, It doesn't seem to matter which code I use)
  14. Can confirm. Paused the game (for all the users), unpaused and got kicked out of my plane.
  15. If I want to use it for the sake of my improvement and watching tracks of my training with my friends- which version should I buy?
  16. Very impressive LN! , gotta love the way those bright lights reflect/shine on parts of the cockpit.
  17. What is there between F-18 and us now? A very long wait :P
  18. I hope ED mentions the viggen in their weekly post :)
  19. In mission 3 (AAR), it is said that the AAR switch is a 3 states one. RAZBAM stated that it is the case and that it will be changed in the future (since now its a 2 states switch). My question is- is that the same for mission 4? -> IIRC in that mission you are given an explanation on the radar and the radar ability to detect when its jammed. The explanation on the symbology displayed on the vtb includes features that are not mentioned in the menual (for example - displaying red / yellow lines).
  20. Hi guys, I am about to start mission 2 - and I found out that the same issue described here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=178280 also applies to the details page in mission 2. The starting position of the airplane is in lat long (N 41 37 33 , E 045 02 16.), and it should be in Lat Long Decimal. I guess this should be checked in the other training missions/campaign, since the same issue may appear in more missions (in the dialogs or in the briefings).
  21. You are correct, it also appears in the details page before the mission starts.
  22. What I mean is- the instructor tells you (its in the audio dialog) to enter the normal lat long coordinates ( you can get those by pressing F10), not the ones in the required format for the ins (F10 + alt Y ). I dont think changing the map to display lat lonng decimal will have any affect on the dialog itself
  23. When the coordinates of the plane are given to the player, the format should be Lat Long Decimal (DD:MM:mm), at the moment its Lat Long (as seen by pressing F10).
  24. @CrashO, @metzger thanks guys, I will do the required reading and learn more. I get that you need to convert the coordinates, it's just that the only place I found any info on this was chuck's guide. The reason I got confused is because I never read about it in the official manual, and it wasnt mentioned in the official training missions. Did any of the devs mention that? ignore the above- I just found that line in the official menual. Thanks!
  25. Hi guys, the guide describes converting the coordinates you get from the map (F10) to mirage ins format (seconds converted to presentage - on page 103). I cant find any info on this in the official manual and it got me really confused, can anyone explain this conversion to me?
