[REPORTED]Wingmen HAFU brightness controlled only by the AMPCD
BarTzi replied to Harker's topic in Bugs and Problems
Can confirm this is an ongoing issue with some other symbology elements as well (SAMS for example) -
As mentioned in the last Viper mini-update, you will not be able to set the laser code of laser-guided bombs within the cockpit of the F-16 (as should be). Which makes me wonder- will we see a redesign of this system in the Hornet (and possibly the A-10C) and the removal of the option to set the code from within the cockpit?
-
As long as the external model is still being worked on, making a template is useless because it will keep changing until the model is complete. As for the Hornet - they released the template before they released the plane.
-
If you input a laser code to a GBU and then go to the MAV-E page (obviously - you have to carry both the missile and a laser-guided bomb), the GBU code will be listed under 'codes' (lower right corner of the MAV-E page), which might be a little bit confusing. Additionally, that code will not clear out even if you drop that GBU. The track is attached. MAVE code display GBU code .trk

It's very rare that I get the new LSO comms. Most of the time it's just the normal airfield style one.

[NO BUG]Some TGP HOTAS controls are conflicting with MAVF display
BarTzi replied to BarTzi's topic in Bugs and Problems
You mean, that this is intended? That's how it works in real life? sounds like bad system design. -
When bringing up both the TGP page and the MAVF seeker page, some Hotas functionality\shortcuts for the TGP will not work \ conflict with the MAFV seeker page. For example: When both are displayed on the DDIs, Raid/FOV (change to flir, flir type, narrow or wide) will not work for the TGP regardless if it is "Soi" or not - instead, it will work for the MAVF seeker page. Changing from white-hot to black-hot via the TGP display will also change the MAVF seeker page to the same modes. Track attached. TGP and MAVF .trk

FEDS is always displayed, even if 'SIM' mode is not engaged (even when you are actually shooting). FEDS .trk

I know that video, but I'm talking about the moments in which you are taking fuel. We are not crossing the wake on purpose and placed slightly lower than the tanker itself. It doesn't look like these guys are having any trouble with it at all. This is why I was hoping some real-life Hornet pilots can shed some light on this and provide some tips or insights.
-
I get the same drift/roll to the right while making contact with the basket (constantly have to push the stick and fight with it while I'm taking fuel). Was wondering if it is the way it is supposed to be, and how the real pilots deal with it (rudder? trim?). Hopefully, some pilots can provide inputs :)

But TOO mode does benefit from it.

[FIXED INTERNALLY] F10 view altitude is wrong.
BarTzi replied to BarTzi's topic in View and Spotting Bugs
Same position as in the ME. Over the tank. -
Hi guys. Just reporting that since 2.5.5 the altitude that is shown when you move the cursor over the map is not very accurate, and different to the one displayed in the mission editor. For example: ME says this tank is currently over 7K feet ASL. https://imgur.com/7PyqTtj F10 map view Says it's at 305 feet. https://imgur.com/Ykm9Zxh

This is how it should be. Green color display with strokes in yellow and red.

Looks great! Is there a place where we can view the dimensions of the set? (throttle seems too large for desktop use)

Enable more functions with WoW? Auto/Semi modes?
-
Not sure if it will match IRST capabilities... it can be slaved to radar contact for VID
-
Do you have a picture or a valid source? It is always green, with yellow and red symbols. Other variants that have their DDI's upgraded might have some other capabilities.

PA is indeed not implemented. OP is not aware of this.

The labels '24R' and '24L' are placed slightly above the start of the LEX. '24L' is clipped. 24L compared to 24R - external view: https://imgur.com/UhGQTD1 https://imgur.com/CaqkGpt 24L when MESH is displayed (view from photoshop): https://imgur.com/b9li7qg

I don't know if many players find this appealing, but I think the LGTR should be modeled in the game. We already have multiple training versions of A/A missiles and A/G dumb bombs. So why not the LGTR as well?

HSI any flight plan symbology is drifting on the HSI [Open beta, 8-5-19] **my bad- title should say: "WP and flight plan symbology is drifting on the HSI" Sadly, I have to reopen this thread, since the issue is not resolved. The previous thread was marked as fixed internally and closed (https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=240236). To sum it up: 1. WP symbology and flight plan symbology will drift on the moving map as your plane moves. This is easier to spot when the plane is set to use Magnetic bearing (default settings). 2. When you fly past a waypoint it will occasionally spin together with the waypoint needle - pushing it randomly from the original position Please watch this video (set it to X2 speed) to have a better understanding of what I'm talking about: I placed a waypoint near the runway at Batumi. The waypoint symbol appears over the sea at first (wrong location) and Is slowly drifting forward as I fly north. Watch what happens to the waypoint symbol at 0:54 as the WP icon starts drifting south. I provided a track (which you are more than welcome to watch at X4 or X2 speed), and the mission itself. Additionally, if you want to change just the easting of an already existing waypoint, you must re-enter the N coordinates first

[CANNOT REPRODUCE, MISSING TRACK FILE] Is the TA vector missing in STT?
BarTzi replied to Razi's topic in Bugs and Problems
My bad- mods should take another look at this then.
