  1. This is how it should be. Green color display with strokes in yellow and red.
  2. Looks great! Is there a place where we can view the dimensions of the set? (throttle seems too large for desktop use)
  3. Enable more functions with WoW? Auto/Semi modes?
  4. Not sure if it will match IRST capabilities... it can be slaved to radar contact for VID
  5. Do you have a picture or a valid source? It is always green, with yellow and red symbols. Other variants that have their DDI's upgraded might have some other capabilities.
  6. PA is indeed not implemented. OP is not aware of this.
  7. The labels '24R' and '24L' are placed slightly above the start of the LEX. '24L' is clipped. 24L compared to 24R - external view: https://imgur.com/UhGQTD1 https://imgur.com/CaqkGpt 24L when MESH is displayed (view from photoshop): https://imgur.com/b9li7qg
  8. I don't know if many players find this appealing, but I think the LGTR should be modeled in the game. We already have multiple training versions of A/A missiles and A/G dumb bombs. So why not the LGTR as well?
  9. HSI any flight plan symbology is drifting on the HSI [Open beta, 8-5-19] **my bad- title should say: "WP and flight plan symbology is drifting on the HSI" Sadly, I have to reopen this thread, since the issue is not resolved. The previous thread was marked as fixed internally and closed (https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=240236). To sum it up: 1. WP symbology and flight plan symbology will drift on the moving map as your plane moves. This is easier to spot when the plane is set to use Magnetic bearing (default settings). 2. When you fly past a waypoint it will occasionally spin together with the waypoint needle - pushing it randomly from the original position Please watch this video (set it to X2 speed) to have a better understanding of what I'm talking about: I placed a waypoint near the runway at Batumi. The waypoint symbol appears over the sea at first (wrong location) and Is slowly drifting forward as I fly north. Watch what happens to the waypoint symbol at 0:54 as the WP icon starts drifting south. I provided a track (which you are more than welcome to watch at X4 or X2 speed), and the mission itself. HSI wp drift open beta 8-5-19.trk F-18 WP DRIFT OPEN BETA.miz
  10. Additionally, if you want to change just the easting of an already existing waypoint, you must re-enter the N coordinates first
  11. My bad- mods should take another look at this then.
  12. Wanted to note that this is true, and the TA should be displayed and easily noticeable even what a star icon is displayed. However- a track is required.
  13. I checked and it does happen in the SA page as well.
  14. This is an old bug that was previously fixed but seems to have popped up again. Essentially, the WP icon and flight path between two waypoints will slide across the moving map when your plane moves. This will sometimes break so much - that the WP icon will not appear at the end of the dashed lines due to a massive drift that happens when the plane flies next to it (see pics and replays below). You can very easily spot the drift in the track (watch the HSI). Also -observe the location of the WP icon in relation to the dashed line. HSI wp not appearing as part of seq + drift.trk
  15. F10 map coordinates do not update frequently enough for an accurate hit - try the mission editor instead
  16. Also lofts like crazy even when close to the target
  17. If you have a missile selected, SCS right will lock a TUC for you.
  18. Wanna add to that - we always see this in MP. We think it's a result of pilot BITS not syncing with the back seat: INST bit (which should drop the fuel quantity indicator to 2000) doesn't translate to the back seat, and the LTS does not sync to the back seat as well. (tested in SP and confirmed to be working fine, this is a MP issue)
  19. This is not what I'm talking about. I should be able to lock the L&S target with SCS right, which should trigger FACQ, which doesnt exist in the sim yet.
  20. Does SSS right work like this in the sim at the moment?
  21. Like most modern planes, the Hornet will account for wind while deploying high drag bombs. However, the plane still calculates the affects of wind on the bomb trajectory while 'drag' is set to FF (clearly visible by the CCIP line tilting sideways). Correct me if I'm wrong here, but if the retardation kit on the MK82 SE is set to off (FF), shouldn't it drop like a normal Mk82 bomb? Shouldn't the plane provide a normal CCIP solution in that case? (If that's true, the provided solution is wrong and does not provide the necessary information to use the bomb without deploying the kit). The track provided shows a slightly windy day at the gulf. Comparing the provided solutions for both high and low drag MK82's ('drag' was never changed from 'FF' to 'RET' in this sortie, so the kit should not deploy). High drag vs low drag.trk
  22. It is mentioned in NATOPS/Charts available online. You have to calculate the weight on each wing. Does anyone have a list of the weights of each weapon?
  23. +1. This is all very confusing
  24. And what about Yardstick?
  25. With the recent update, a new star-shaped symbol is displayed under the HAFU symbol of the locked target (S/A page). It will be displayed while locking friendly, hostile or unknown targets. It will not be displayed while locking a DL contributor, which seems weird to me. In the attached track I'm locking one friendly target (that is not a contributor), and then an F-15C (which is a contributor). You can see that the symbol does not appear when I lock the Eagle. Lock on DL cont.trk
