Dude, it wasn't a stab at you, I was making a joke directed at myself for not understanding the issue, because I never open the Jester wheel, I didn't see it at first. Cheers!

Military Assets for DCS by Currenthill

Fair enough. Believe what you wish. Even if it says OpenBeta in Steam doesn't mean it wasn't removed over a year ago. Don't believe me? Might start paying attention and read the newsletters and changelog. Cheers! -

Military Assets for DCS by Currenthill

I guess CH is the one to respond. In the meantime you can add your support for this suggestion. Cheers! -
@609_Relentov Example. I upgraded the firmware in my collective, and it got a new ID. Then I searched for the old ID in the whole Input folder in PowerRenamer, and replaced it with the new one, for every module at the same time. The process needs to be repeated for every peripheral. That's why I recommend changing one single button, doesn't matter the keybind for every peripheral and one axis for the pedals. That will update every file that has the old ID with the new one. Did you try this? Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

Nope, neither are you. OpenBeta doesn't exist anymore. They trimmed that branch away. Standalone = OpenBeta. Not a stab at you, while I just can't believe how this could go unnoticed by so many people. Enjoy your weekend! -
I think he just tried to correct @upyr1, who wrote III. Who knows? Anyways, it's funny with all the "not planned by ED", like the F-15C. [emoji6] CA vx WILL come at some point whether it's currently worked on or not. It for sure is planned, but not confirmed, yet. I assume you have seen the videos driving around the airbases on the upcoming Central Europe map. Not too shabby for some old FPS games. [emoji4] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

We all have different perspectives and needs. I never knew what was supposed to be there at all. I had to scroll up the thread to see. I guess that's one advantage of using VAICOM. One doesn't see the wheel at all. [emoji4] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

Damn, this is a hard nut. What happens if you disable Bitdefender while you perform a repair/update? (Apologies if I've askes/suggested this before, can't remember all these identical threads). Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

Damn! Maybe I should play the lottery today then! IIRC, the Snapviews entries are not added in the file unless any of the views have been changed. I'm not saying you did, but I think the chance of you accidentally hitting that key combo when reaching for the keyboard in VR is higher than it beeing a bug no one else has reported. You can test though, just rename the Snapviews.lua and check if it gets populated with incorrect values. If it does, yeah, then it's absolutely a bug! Cheers, and enjoy your weekend!

It's not a recording/replay really, unfortunately. They're working on a better solution. I don't remember the exact procedure, but you need to rename the trk file to miz and open it and allow external views to be allowed. And then rename it back to trk. TrackIR can also prohibit external views when replaying a track IIRC, at least last time I was messing around with this. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

Yeah, I understand. It's a complete shot in the dark. I'm not even sure if Snapviews work in VR. What I meant is that perhaps at some point RAlt + Num0 was pressed by accident. That saves the Snapview for the current view. And that's usually the default one. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

Have you checked the quarantined files in "BitDefender", and removed it from there? The file is probably still locked and that might be the problem. What do you want them to do? Except for sending the files to various AV vendors whenever they update the files. Also, we're not privy to the process between HB and ED when 3rd parties send their files to ED. For all we know it's ED that applies the encryption. And it's the encryption that triggers the false positive virus warnings. It's your AV solution that has over zealously quarantined the file you know! Why it's still quarantined is on you. I have no idea if another encryption, that is not Russian in this day and age, would make things better, and whether it could be something for ED to look into. I've never had this issues ever, even before I excluded the folders in Defender.

Looking forward to it! [emoji1303] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

I don't use VR so this might be a goose chase. Could you by chance have saved a Snapviews setting? At least in 2D with TrackIR, you must stop the tracking, or what you observe will happen. You can see if this remedy fixes it. Open the Snapviews.lua in Notepad++ and delete the whole F/A-18C section. You will of course lose all Snapviews settings for the F/A-18C though, while I think you got nothing to lose besides wasting two minutes trying. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

Do you still have your input folders with both the new and the old diff files? I'm asking because I don't have access to my computer today, and off you zip those down and send me I could make an easy step by step guide for everyone, (and do yours for you making it of course [emoji6]). TrackIR wireless clip battery replacement
MAXsenna replied to LordOrion's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Keep digging! It actually looks like there's two batteries inside, which is anticipated. While the circuit could actually be the faulty one, I'm not too sure this is actually serviceable. Purtroppo! What cable plugs into it? You could probably do some DIY replacement. Personally I have a "wired" Delanclip that plugs into a really (old) small lightweight power bank, which I've attached to my headset with some 3M heavy duty velcro. -
I agree. It seems strange. Especially since it did start at some point, so I gather there are no corruption in the settings. Personally, I don't store any common folder in any of the installations, I point them to another folder. But that shouldn't matter actually. I even share mods between installations. It's a little unclear for me. Apologies. Does the server start with mods and without links? If yes, I'd assume it's an issue with the links. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
