  1. Well, then they tend to make a new thread, and even so, this thread was never about realism. [emoji6] The topic was to get headtracking working. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  2. Probably the oil barrel bombing in Syria. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  3. Aaaaah! Thanks. @ForceScreamers Apologies, I didn't even consider you did that. In case you don't know, you can just drag and drop them as they are into your post. Makes a little easier. Cheers!
  4. Ah, older OS compatibility! [emoji1303] Well, I'm on 2013 hardware. [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  5. No, the file name is DCS.log Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  6. It's good practice to install the mod via a mod manager, even for Saved Games Mods. When you get the above licence message, it's always because the mod was installed in the core installation folders. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  7. That's the clip only, right? Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  8. You need the DCS.log file from the Saved Games\DCS\logs folder. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  9. Fair point! [emoji1303] Just thought it might be quicker. [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  10. You can't solder the correct connection over? Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  11. Yes, they have currently kept the BIN-MT folder for compatibility with shortcuts and potential 3rd party launchers. No. The files are identical, like I wrote. If you would like to test. It's easy. Just start DCS.exe from one folder first, and then the other. And on the off chance that there would be a difference, you have found a major bug! No problem. In laws? Try my mother.
  12. Unfortunately FC3 is no more. Any reason you want to play that old version? Maybe if you purchase FC2024 the FC3 license will work, but you need to contact support for that. Is the 2.5.6 still available for download? Was not aware of that. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  13. The default mouse click for the LAlt+C keybind is double clicking the wheel. You can reset to default by right clicking an individual cell or the top of the column. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  14. Like MSI afterburner? Or was that a thing only with AMD CPUs?
  15. Mmmm... I see the issue now. You can use it as cheat. No wonder why this thread hasn't received more action.
  16. Excellent! [emoji1303] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  17. Not directly. You need to move the whole Saved Games folder under the user , not Saved Games\user. Select Saved Games in file Explorer. Right click, chose settings. Then you find a wizard for moving it. If you don't want to move Saved Games, but only Saved Games\DCS. You can but then you need to use symbolic/hard links. Cheers! 18. You have to enable telemetry to get the effects DCS doesn't have out of the box.
  19. For the external view? Funny as we all want a working vizor for the first person view, while we don't have one. [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  20. Yes! A base with neither springs nor FFB. It has to be a bad translation. Is very clear when you see the options in the Apache. Because the first choice is "FFB friendly", whatever setting is "unfriendly". [emoji6] I was told this years ago when I first got FFB, and it made sense. Because why would you have a choice without springs but with FFB, if there is no choice without either? Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  21. I believe the confusion comes from that the older helicopter modules don't have "FFB friendly" in the description, and "without springs and FFB" is probably incorrectly translated from Russian. Or it might be just laziness, as the devs probably didn't have FFB at the time. It doesn't help that other FFB users on this forum recommend to use "without springs and FFB". I would recommend that ED clarify the difference between the two modes, (because in some modules I can't really tell the difference myself, while l know the default is the correct one for FFB), and change the description for clarity, in ALL helicopter modules. @Caldera Happy it works for you now. For everyone! In DCS you can't use curves with FFB. So don't recommend your curves if an FFB user asks for advice. Cheers!
  22. That's great! Yeah, DCS has a tendency to wildy populate certain axis. [emoji4] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  23. I'm pretty sure RAlt + Num0 was pressed by accident. [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  24. It was discovered that it was not that particular problem. [emoji6] And wasn't the DNS issue solved by the latest patch? If so, you should clean out that host file immediately. And personally I would NEVER mess with host files as they are often completely forgotten and 40+ year old tech, even if Windows resort to it as the last option. Changing the DNS, preferably in your router, is way more sexy. [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
