  1. Aaaahh! I completely misunderstood! (Interpreted it as question, my bad). Make a copy before you start DCS, and check the file creation date/time if somehow the file gets deleted. Or file change date/time to see when the file gets changed. Never heard if this issue before to be honest. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  2. Right, so you didn't have it as slider before. Anyway, a throttle is a slider, so keep it as slider. Only sticks/pedals should be non-sliders. Everything else like throttles, collectives, volume knobs, toe brakes etc. should be sliders. I assume from your first post that you have tried the "sync with HOTAS at mission start" setting. What throttle do you have? Have you checked for axis conflicts in the affected modules? It's not clear from your posts. Should have been my first question to be honest. Cheers!
  3. I assume you're joking. If not YoYo meant any virtual body from your "own" first person perspective. [emoji4] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  4. You don't find available in the module manager? Try to open the MM, select maps/theatres or whatever it's called. It should be there. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  5. Anything light enough to be able take off with a weapon strapped on. [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  6. Please read again what @Dragon1-1 wrote. He did not mentioned M3 at all. He mentioned other sims that predates DCS. And he also writes that if ED makes a Zero, it will be epic. Ain't it always.
  7. You know there are people on this forum that claims NVGs in DCS are already too good. [emoji4] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  8. I'm a hundred percent on board with you. Pretty sure some of those toys will be implemented down the line. Remember, even AAA flightsims also need 3rd party shiny toys. It's pretty much up to resources. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  9. You read descriptions? Good for you! Back in 2016, I Googled free flightsims. Got a hit. Watch some Su-25T video on YT. Hmmm... Strange plane, while it's free. Let's go! Installed. Now, tell me where in that process it would be bad for ED to place links to manuals, both for the Su-25T AND the main game manual. There was nothing in that process that even suggested or even made me think there was manuals. The game was free. Now, please! Please do tell me why it's bad to have better links to manuals? You can't give me one good reason, except that it is unnecessary for you, and then you don't like it. That's your MO in the wishlist section.
  10. You must perform some hacks/Lua editing to export MFDs when in LAlt+F1 full screen. That's DCS multiscreen support for you. [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  11. Yeah, that really begs the question. Maybe because the game was free, there were interactive training missions, I didn't even think of it because nowhere was the mention of manuals when i Installed the game or started it. I'm not alone. [emoji2373] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  12. Have you tried to turn off Force Feedback in the general DCS settings? Under misc or something. Unless you do use FFB of course.. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  13. Why are you always so bloody negative about things that doesn't concern you or affect you at all? In my country we call it mouth diarrhea. I wasn't aware there were manuals two years into this game. And as you may have noticed, quite often people are asking for them. It's not like they're practically in your face. And to be honest the user interface leaves a lot to be desired! Yes, you can click the icons, while they doesn't actually scream "Pick me! Pick me!" The Launcher is quite the step in the right direction, and has been asked for many times over the years, in which each and every post you have opposed the idea. Why do you care if the user experience for new and existing users is better and more intuitive?
  14. Did you try to change the trim speed in the special settings?
  15. Happy to help! I found out myself last year after reading another post.
  16. Or at least give us a fuse we can pull.
  17. You must never set a stick, (or rudder), axis to a slider! Only throttles, collectives, volume buttons, toe brakes and such axis that goes from 0-100 are sliders. Stick axis that goes from -something through 0 to +something can't be sliders as they are not sliders, but has a natural zero point in the middle. And you shouldn't tweak a curve to achieve this. Something's off with something. Have you tried to recalibrate your peripherals? Cheers!
  18. Snapviews for maps doesn't exist, so I might misunderstand you. To reset for any flyable module, open your Snapviews.lua in Notepad++, find the module and delete its section. To reset everything, just delete the file. Cheers!
  19. Have you set the throttle axis as a slider?
  20. Don't think it's hard, (resource and time restrictions only), as VAICOM a free plugin for VoiceAttack pretty much does some of the things you are asking for already. It integrates with the existing kneeboards, and records all the comms from the radio communication. BUT I'm not sure it does it for special dialogs from DLC campaigns. Don't remember to be honest. For those special cases, I just press ESC and click show history or something. Well, I actually do that with a VoiceAttack command together with Taz1004's "Non pause briefing" mod. What you ask for is how it should be done by ED, along with the features of all mods mentioned in this thread. Cheers!
  21. Are you using the "Communications Menu" keybind "\", and not the correct PTT keybinds to transmit? The communication menu keybind only works on the ground, for FC level airframes, and if Easy Comms is enabled under the general settings. Many missions force Easy Comms off. Cheers!
  22. @biguest3 Short answer, not a bug, perform a full repair. TL:DR I get the same when I let Helios install its patches, so I have a "mod" that will revert those changes Helios does for the Phantom. Not sure if exports are supported by HB yet, while I've read about users that have successfully accomplished this without seeing what you see. I've yet to try to fix this personally. Cheers!
  23. @BluesRocket What's your stick settings under the special settings for the Viper? I've turned those off with zero deadzones for both axis. (We didn't have those settings before as ED forced us to use a virtual force sensing stick, even if you had a regular sprung one). Apart from this, I fly the Viper with an entry level stick, the TM T16K, with no curves or deadzones whatsoever. AAR will click one day for you, and it will feel like some great, (while stupid ), accomplishment, and you will be amazed of how easy it actually is. But, it must click! Just like swimming or riding a bike. Can you formation fly? If not, learn that first. Greatest advice I received. In the Viper, as a fly by wire airframes, (that trims itself and stuff), it will do the most work for you, as long as you are a little steady. Throttle management is much more important! Also! When you open the refueling lid, the, the computer in the airframe will change the input sensitivity levels, (landing levels?), which will be different from when you're in ordinary flight. Hence why I don't like using curves in the Viper. Now, everyone else's input and personal advices are incoming, and welcome! Pick those that works best for you! Cheers!
  24. Yup! And not only for the modules you own, but all. So users can make better educated choices. [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
