  1. Looks like you just need a livery for the C-101 then. [emoji6] What's the actual difference? I can see something hanging under it I'm not used to. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  2. Jay's already on his way, and has made a video about it. Basically how easy it was and that not all Steam games work. But Rocket League did IIRC. [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  3. Right, lessons.lua. I just forgot the name. Thanks! That's what I thought. Weird one for sure. When I started playing around with this for the various mission types/folders ≈nine years ago. I tried to put them with Luas in the Saved Games folders, with the same mods\aircraft\missions\structure, and the list would override the ones in the Core installation. Highly annoying. Wish they could combine them.
  4. @bies Thanks! Great video!
  5. Not sure if you will get a proper response regarding mods.
  6. And yet you absolutely refuse to try to rename the Saved Games folders. I'm not saying it will work, but it could. Easy test. Worked for others. You're just proving my point. Why on earth are you posting here if you don't take advice? And BTW, DDU, Nvidia Inspector and all that jazz, have its benefits and have solved issues in the past. I do however that DCS can be a pain regarding performance and is very finicky compared to other games. Like it absolutely hates oberclocking for some reason. Diva Combat Simulator...
  7. Could you be more specific? I might misunderstand you. The ingame ATC and mission added AWACS must be contacted through other F options in the communications menu if you want to contact them directly, and not through mission scripts. I've never had any issues with that. If you need the generic ones, you can't use F10. F5 is ATC IIRC. (I use VAICOM, so I don't really use the menus), and of course the correct PTT must be used for the correctly tuned frequencies, but you seem to have that in order. Cheers!
  8. Well, that's up to you. And doing it that way won't do you any favours. DDU is for completly wiping the old drivers and any reference to it. Has nothing to do with the Nvidia APP. Using DDU can only be done in safe mode, and installing the driver should also be done in Safe Mode. That way you make sure Windows doesn't start with a generic driver. Why won't you temporarily rename the DCS folder under your Saved Games? That's a test that can be done in minutes. That's fine. You can upload it to the log analyser in the Eagle Dynamics Discord if you're afraid of showing your mods and hardware info. I never said it was crashing. People have solved stuttering and blackouts by renaming the mentioned folder. Edit: There seems to be some file corruption/error of a specific file in the Mission Editor folder in the Saved Games folders. Which solves a lot of issues if deleted. Pretty sure you're alone in that department. I know you're stubborn and don't take to advice easily. That's your prerogative. Be that as it may, it only hurts yourself in the long run. Enjoy!
  9. Did you have the dot in the file name in the edited training.lua? I assume yes. So, I yeah, that sounds really strange. [emoji4]
  10. Just post your changes. Many of the mods in the user files are altered game files. Cheers!
  11. @DmitriKozlowsky You could post the DCS.log though. And there is no reason to specify MT as ST is no more. Or do you mean you're running from the bin-mt folder. Better stop doing that and just run from tbe bin folder as the bin-mt will be removed in the future, and they are exactly the same. You don't have Winwing displays and run DCS as admin by chance? DCS shouldn't be run as admin in any case. Have you tried to rename the DCS folder under your Saved Games as a quick test? Seems many users have reported corruption lately, which was fixed by this. Various issues though. When you changed graphics drivers, did you run DDU every time? And did you always install the drivers in Safe Mode? Cheers!
  12. Then you should mark the post I quote as the solution, because the other one is confusing/misleading. Cheers!
  13. Right, so it doesn't actually work yet? Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  14. Dropping them before landing is the usual trick. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  15. Fair enough, and a good point. And that's also why I prefer to have Helios do it for me. Seems i missed that post, because I would've assumed many more would like that tool, if one doesn't use or won't rely on Helios. I would have definitely been interested. Cheers!
  16. Did you generate a new Saved Games folder? The only reason his Saved Games folder was names DCS.openbeta, was that he installed OpenBeta when it was available/named that. Because when you installed OpenBeta, it added a file called dcs_variant.txt text, with the single world in it "openbeta" in it. (If you want another DCS folder called "DCS.new", just create that file and put "new" in it). The reason I ask you, if you have a new Saved Games folder, is that a repair doesn't touch the Saved Games folders, and if you have errors in it, a repair won't fix the, but everything else. So one of the first steps in troubleshooting if a repair fails, is to rename the Saved Games folder. Might have saved you a lot of time. So, if this does not happen again, I would edit your post, and add text to the top, which highlights that the creation of a new Saved Games folder, due to corruption, was the trick, and mark that post as the solution. Because a reinstallation, is never the solution when one can do a repair. Excellent find though if this is the fix! Cheers!
  17. That's actually a neat idea. Add a mission with player only, fly for a minute for cool down and save. Then you can edit the mission to your liking I assume. Excellent trick! [emoji1303] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  18. The Zero is coming. For discussion, look up the Zero forum under WWII. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

  21. And all my gadgets. I have my doubts it will ever happen.
  22. @Maverick Su-35S I have a feeling the user you quoted won't respond, as the user haven't been active here for over six years, even the post was made more than 10 years ago.
  23. You can safely comment out the Helios line in the export.lua and the exports will be fine after Helios installs the patches. Helios doesn't do any exports by itself, (except for custom instruments), while it's very handy to write the files for you. Any reason you just don't make a mod and apply it after each update with a mod manager? A much quicker and easier process. Seconds instead of minutes. I have all the modules and have exports even for modules that don't really have them, like the MB-339, I couldn't be bothered to edit all those files. Cheers!
  24. Oh, you're using VA for the radio? Well, that's why I use VAICOM. I don't think VA works well for the radio. What I do, (when not using VAICOM) is using mapping my trim hat for browsing the radio menu. It's in the drop down for the modules in the Controls Settings, in its own category, like UI Layer. Called Communication Menu or something. You can map the hat for up/down/select/back and it only works when the menu is open, and works for trimming when the meny is closed. Then I open it by mapping a button to open the meny with the corresponding PTT button, not "\"obviously. This way I don't lose any buttons for mapping. In a way it works like the George/Petrovich interface mappings. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  25. @JamesChams I'm very sorry this happened to you. But for that kind of money spent on all the shipping, one would think someone in your vicinity could make those need parts in metal for you. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
