I totally agree with this. The B-17 is a wonderful aircraft and stunningly beautiful, but I can only see it being fun to fly with a crew of two, three or more. It's significantly less appealing if you're an antisocial, friendless introvert like me. :) The combination of this change in strategy and the (from my perspective) really shoddy and half-thought-through Kickstarter made me cancel my $112 pledge on Thursday night... ...but then my romance and desire to see this succeed got the better of me and I re-pledged the same amount on Friday afternoon. I retain very serious doubts and misgivings about this project's management and timelines, but I am more than happy to be proven horribly, horribly wrong in the long term. :)

I'm sure I'm going to catch a lot of flak for this, but I'm hugely underwhelmed by what I'm currently seeing. To my eyes, the new images look significantly less visually impressive than what we already have in the game. I'm not looking to start a flame war here. I'm just expressing an honest and hopefully respectful opinion. It would be great to get a little more context regarding what we're seeing and what the ED guys still feel needs to be done.

I'm another singleplayer only player. As a result, multi-crewed aircraft hold no interest for me. I'd much rather see another good single-seater or a really good campaign or two. Everyone had their own priorities, though.

I've noticed a very significant drop in FPS with 1.2.6, too. I've never really had a problem with performance in the past, but it's really chugging now - especially around airfields.

Or Shift+K if you want it up permanently, CTRL+K will mark your current position and [ and ] will cycle between "pages" of the map. Page 99 of the manual is your friend. :) Edit: Double sniped!!! :D

I don't have any info on that project, but most of the 3rd party modules still seem to be a long, long way from seeing the light of day. Even Beczl's Mig 21 which seemed like it might make it out late last year is still a way from being finished.

According to Wags, it's going to be a year until ED even start talking about the F/A-18C, let alone releasing it. With those sorts of time scales in play, you should probably go for the VRS Superbug as a stopgap. Edit - Sniped almost word for word by St3v3f! :)

It was a comment that the founder/owner of Eagle Dynamics made during the DCS:WWII Kickstarter video. Something to the effect of "we'll be releasing 20 new modules in the next 18 months". Most people assume (probably correctly) that he was including all of the 3rd party modules into his numbers.

It appears as though there's a genuine bug here. There's no way to progress beyond the "Set throttle to 0" phase of the tutorial. Can someone from BST please check this out and confirm, please? Thanks!

Hey guys, I'm not sure what's happened, but all of my manuals appear to be missing after installing 1.2.6 and the Mi-8. :cry: My Start -> Eagle Dynamics -> DCS World -> Documentation only contains User Manual (which links to the general DCS manual) and the DCS Su-25T Flight Manual. I own every single module (including FC3) and all of the manuals used to be there. I have no idea where they've vanished to. I've tried doing a Repair, but no luck. I've also searched inside the folder, but again - no luck. The DCS site doesn't seem to have the latest manuals, so I'm not sure what to do. I really, really don't want to do a full reinstall, so... help! :helpsmilie:

Bought. I now just have 8 long hours in work to endure before I can head home and take her for a first flight. :(
