Lol!, Why? Because it'd take such a big effort to go and turn it off? :)
I'd argue that ED should be actively promoting the visual improvements by defaulting them to 'On', not hiding them away and hoping that people find them.
Depth of Field is on its way

Much needed and looking good.
(Note that it can be toggled on and off in the options menu)
Just wanted to stop by to pass on my thanks for the utterly fantastic UH-1H campaign. I'm probably about 10 missions in and I've just completed the emergency airlift out of Kutaisi. The entire campaign to date has been an absolute blast. Lots of variety, lots of creativity and a whole ton of fun!
Thanks for such a fantastic product and all of the love and attention you've clearly put into it, guys!
I'm almost the same. I don't use any curves, but I do have a small deadzone in the X-axis because of some slight play in the Warthog's centre position.
Assuming I'm understanding you correctly, it's already bound to the keyboard as - and +.
As a pro-tip for finding the names of the assignments, go into the controller assignments options and try to assign - or + to anything. You'll get the warning they're already assigned to function X, where X will be the name of the MFD Range assignment. (I just mention all of this because I can't remember the exact name in the list).
Hope that helps.
PS - You probably shouldn't use your email address as your forum name. It's just inviting spam. ;)
Appreciating that the Su-27 AFM is being developed by a different team to the F-15C AFM, this video still makes me really excited for 1.2.8. Just taking off and landing in the F-15 (especially in crosswinds) should be great fun.
:joystick:
I'll admit that the ongoing absence of EDGE is a disappointment to me, too, but there's still a lot of good, positive forward movement in 1.2.8, as well.
Hopefully it won't be too much longer before the much heralded arrival of EDGE, though. :)
I could be wrong, but it looks like the ALPHA ACCESS choice is only a availableoption if it's a OPTIONAL aspect of your tier.
If your reward tier includes Alpha Access by default, you don't get to choose it - it's just a given.
I'm pretty sure that's what's happening, but the communication around it isn't particularly clear.
