It is said in the changelog that it's only for openbeta. force the update from release to openbeta, we've talked about it a few minutes before the version changed on the website :)

But nothing is happening xD, it's close, usually when the version changes it's live but apparently not this time. Release already ! :D, i mean i waited a month so a few minutes isn't that bad....

You can jump from release to openbeta using a command line : dcs_updater.exe update @openbeta there is a great tutorial on the forums somewhere.... EDIT : https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=114030

It's a 2.1 bug only, you should have specified it earlier. This main post is going to have to be divided into multiple parts, 1.5, 2.1 and "possibilities" for the dashed snake line, the low altitude on HUD warning and the Range tape in guns mode.

considering that it's not a french Mirage 2000 and might not even have the same radar,..., and that quite clearly some changes were made to the HUD symbology, i doubt it's the same on the version we have in DCS.

can't reproduce the gun firing in safe mode, no matter how hard i messed with it, when it's in safe, it doesn't fire (yes it was binded to my HOTAS), could you provide a track perhaps ? The function missing is DO/RDO not RD/RDO. TEL is what DO was developped to, a very early attempt at making a datalink, wouldn't be very usefull and was never used. The triangle symbology appears when both radar and the Magic seeker are locked onto a target (already reported, just a clarification), the rest of the time it is a circle. The "rumors" about the Magic not supposed to lock where the cross is are unfunded and i never found any evidence that it wouldn't be as it is, maybe put a link to a thread with videos, documents ? EDIT : you can add "Bombs releasing instantly when pressing the trigger while using INS precision bombing (PI and ZBI mode)"

Bomb spacing when using INS bombing works, please verify your bug before reporting it. I'll have to confirm but last week i was doing CCIP runs and got 5 hits out of 5 bombs (Mk82SE) so i wouldn't call it innacurate, i was doing 40° dives with flat terrain under me and barely any wind. I asked why there would be an issue because i tought it was normal for the NAVFLIR to be in grey scale, now i know it's supposed to be in green. EDIT : That was a while back.

For the Direct-to page i'll make some more testing, as for the waypoint creation : When using the cursor on the map to create a waypoint this happens, Then when i press enter as i used to do in order to create a waypoint on the cursors position (the coordinates for it are displayed in the top right corner) it sends me to the waypoint creation page as it used to but, There is nothing in the ref wpt, rad and dis slots, they cannot be edited and the waypoint coordinates don't match with the ones that i had where the cursor was, they cannot be edited aswell. Rendering waypoint creation impossible (question is, am i doing something wrong ?). EDIT : It does the same thing when going directly to the waypoint creation page.

it seems that in the latest 1.5 update i cannot create waypoints anymore. I cannot edit the coordonates in the last WPT page and i cannot create one when moving the cursor on the map. EDIT : Also the Direct to page has changed alot, don't know if it's normal.

It's a multiplayer problem, same as the eclair pod missing, in singleplayer the Magic is still here and working well. You should ask the admin of your server to resave the mission, happens at almost every update.

You can get DeltaL and DeltaG with the website i sent, it's less convenient then the one you found because you need to enter Lat only or Long only and add the minus if it's further south or further west. It's also less precise because it rounds numbers to the tenths. Anyways, what you've found works better :D

I found this that you can use : https://www.movable-type.co.uk/scripts/latlong.html It's not very accurate thought since the value of how much a degree equals in kilometers is estimated (it depends on what latitude and longitude you are at). The F10 map and the ruler will probably be more precise. For an IP to target offset tought it's negligeable. EDIT : The website uses Degrees minutes seconds format coordinates, unlike the Mirage wich uses degrees minutes decimals. Tested it from point to point, the F10 map indicates 57.7 miles in between the TACAN station on tonopah test range airfield and the TACAN station on Groom Lake AFB, the website says 58.7 miles (105.8 km).

The BK90, in multiplayer, is not a cluster ammunition, it acts as a big bomb when it hits the ground.

I haven't played the L in a while but could you describe what kind of catastrophic failure happens when you get hit, and also what kind of caliber is hitting you ? Also, AI in the game has very good aim, so gunship in general doesn't end too well, at least when you don't have charts for the weapons (to shoot from one or 2 kilometers away effectively).

Wiki has a bit of info on the mistrals, apparently they are very loud, 140dB when launched (seems louder then in-game), all-aspect seeker, theoretical range,... https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mistral_(missile) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mistral_(missile) It is also said that the warhead is composed of high density tungsten balls, recently i have had to fire two missiles on every target for it to be destroyed, again, it changed, seems like there was a regression, a single mistral used to enought to "OS" Ka-50s (i've really only encountered Ka-50s recently, i'll test on Mi-8s and Hueys).

The russian factory is always contested for some reason, to win we'd have to destroy our own ground units lol.
