  1. I have read your post, because you think you can maybe get 50% of the information needed (and that's generous) for the MLD variant doesn't mean Razbam should do that.
  2. Looks like both sides have Su-25Ts yes, i'm pretty sure MPUs and probably Kh-58s are available.
  3. It's not exagerated in my opinion, at least if you've just spawned and take off from the carrier for the first time with that aircraft. After a first trap though the FCS doesn't do the same pull up, it's more aggresive. Might be the issue you guys are running into. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=213037
  4. Indeed, but the SPO-15 won't make that much of a difference, at least if you use the Mig-23 as it's meant to be used, you have a GCI, and you more or less know where SAMs are with intelligence. The F-5E's RWR in DCS is quite a bit better then the SPO-15. The Mig-23 will be used in a different way i think, first because it will be against more modern aircrafts, second because the Sapfir-23, while not being great is alot better then the Mig-21's or the F-5E's radar, which is the main reason people don't fly high because they can't do look down. And thirdly because Mig-23 dogfights won't end well... I am lucky to be in a squadron with a GCI, and soon alot of Mig-23 pilots :D. When you do a crank maneuver after firing a first fox one, that will draw massive amounts of energy from the ennemy's missile, when you pull high G's when evading, the missile maneuvers and looses energy, notching kills the lock, BVR is all about geometry, WVR is all about energy and doing the right maneuver with a type of aircraft to get behind and to stay there, when you listen to pilots they don't mention chaffs or flares, they mention geometry and evading with maneuvers, if he fires a fox two and you don't correctly maneuver, you're dead, even with all the flares you have onboard. A pilot that prepares his mission at minimum and has a GCI will have enough SA to do those maneuvers. (assuming the pilot is decent) You only answered half of my quote, i don't rely on countermeasures because when DCS will have all this figured out, they will be almost useless.
  5. RAZBAM said they were doing an MLA variant, why are you so obsessed ? They do not have documentation on the MLD, they do not have access to one. It's not like CM and a better RWR (but still kind of crap) are going to make a difference in how the plane will be used and how it will be effective, it's a high altitude, fast fighter/interceptor, your force will be to have 10 when the ennemy has 4 fighters, a GCI will guide you, and if you get shot at, run away at mach 2. Getting in a dogfight will get you killed CM or no CM. Countermeasures are a must apprently in DCS because they are effective, fact is, chaffs alone are very much useless against any type of doppler radar with counter-countermeasures (basicly since the 70s), Fox 2s since the 80s have very powerfull CCMs and render flares almost useless aswell. You want countermeasures because DCS models them in a very basic and poor way, but as probad said, geometry is what saves you.
  6. Yes my trim was correctly set for my loadout, both launches.
  7. Here is a video, i have the controls indicator at the bottom right, as for the AoA indexer on the HUD it shows similar figures to what was in the tacview i sent in my last post because it was the exact same mission and loadout. P.S. : Don't mind the horrible recovery ^^
  8. Another test after today's update, this time with a moving carrier (around 25kts head wind) and same behavior, first launch, i stay at around 9° of AoA and i do not need to push full stick forward to keep the aircraft level. Second launch, the aircraft takes 14° of AoA and alot more forward stick is needed to keep the aircraft level. The track showed that i crashed instead of trapping so i only have a tacview file. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UaZ8Tms3W7kdyeLpa2CPiSixRLOcGcX-/view?usp=sharing This post can be moved to the bug section, my friends are also experiencing this behavior. P.S : I've also attached the mission i was using.
  9. The F/A-18 doesn't even have an A/G radar either, such a broken plane  Btw: I don't know what you mean by air to ground radar but it's nothing like what we will get in the Hornet, it isn't used for the same purpose at all. EDIT : The DCS F/A-18 of course

    F-15E?

Well it's official now, F-15E is coming !
  11. I found one tacview file that was complete, i had a hard time landing so it's a bit long but it does showcase my problem : First launch : 43000Lbs, 5xMk-83s, two tanks, 2xAIM-9Ms, flaps half, trim 17°NU Rotation at 155 kts, 9.8° of AoA, 1.1G pull After hot rearm : 43000Lbs, 5xMk-83s, two tanks, 2xAIM-9Ms, flaps half, trim 17°NU Rotation 154 kts, 13° of AoA, 1.2G pull and i had a hard time getting the aircraft to the desired attitude This is only one example with a heavy loadout but i had the problem with much lighter loadouts and always after a first landing. This was on a multiplayer server with a stationnary carrier, the aircraft started wings folded, cold with no payload. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RzbfywLgxFwX7ZahJZ-qeA4RkpEZj_81/view?usp=sharing First launch at 5:10:50ZULU, second at 5:28:48ZULU
  12. I'm testing it right now, will post when i have the results, but it's not a trim issue.
  13. It is written in my first post that indeed trim was the same. EDIT : And correct. Sorry i misread your post
  14. Hello, I was wondering if the pull up done by the FCS after being launched by a catapult was correct. With the exact same loadout, weight, flaps and trim : If you have just started the plane and took off from the carrier, the pull up is not aggresive (barely any Gs and ~8 units of AoA) and you have good authority on the Stabilizers. If you launch from a catapult after having trapped a first time, the pull up will be hard (more then 4 Gs and around 14 units of AoA) and for some reason, even with full stick forward the plane will not go nose down. I'm pretty sure there is a problem here but please explain if i am doing something wrong :). Cheers, Rex. EDIT : I'll get some tracks and/or maybe a video tomorow.
  15. I'm curious actually, how do you disable it ? I don't know the A-10C all that much. It's weird that the "best" aircraft in terms of simulated systems doesn't have that.
  16. The A-10C and the Hornet don't have drift because they have what's called an EGI, Embedded GPS/INS. Drift is corrected by the GPS data and i'm pretty sure you don't have to be in IFA for this to work, maybe i'm wrong. EDIT : Checked NATOPS it says it has to be selected for that function to work.
  17. Sextuple Mk-82 Rack Hello, A friend of mine noticed the rack with six Mk-82s on it was not in the rearm list, he made a small mod to make it available, worked great ! Wondering if this will be added later or if this was forgotten. I remember seeing it in one of Wags's stream, not sure. Cheers, Rex.
  18. Hello, While playing with some friends on a private server, I recorded a small bug, it seems after a few launches, the smoke appears on a different catapult then the one being used. Here is a video : It's far from being critical ^^. Cheers, Rex.
  19. Hello everyone, I noticed that when reseting the FCS with the wings folded, no Xs appear on the FCS page. From NATOPS : Also, the FCS BIT Test will not start with the wings folded, now this seems logical but when i unfold my wings, even minutes after i pressed the buttons, it will start on it's own, is this intended ? Cheers, Rex.
  20. Hello everyone :) While i've been having a blast doing case I recoveries and playing around with the Hornet, i find that it is simply impossible to keep a radar lock on a target when doing BVR, for some reason, when i pull hard maneuvers, the antenna does not stay on target (yes I am aware of the scan limits). So i made a small video, which hopefully showcases the problem i'm encountering : Thank you once again ED and Belsimtek for this amazing module :). Cheers, Rex EDTI : This was on a multiplayer server with no lag issue. The aircraft i used was hot when i entered it, on an airfield. My targets were transport aircrafts (IL-76 and An-26 I think).
  21. It's better though, at least we can connect but then boom operator goes crazy  Looks like the basket is not what the boom operator wants you to catch.
  22. Downloading now, Thanks ED :)
  23. Says that .18144.387 is up to date. Seems like my friends don't have the update either.
  24. I can't download the update for some reason...
