I guess it shouldnt, but considering I got shot down by R3S (!!!) by MiG 19 in zero aspect, head on situation, I am not surprised @Alpenwolf I had this F-14A/B bug again in When The Mountains Cry but I did spawned as F-14A so its just wrong label? very weird...

Also good to know is that AIM-54 in Pulse STT (which is also a PAL lock mode) will be launched in Active mode, and with shorter LTE time, so you can start defending immediately after Fox 3 -
First of all VSL/PAL switch is not only used for ACM radar operation but also for Computer Target (CCRP) bombing designation, so idk if it was really an afterthought. Secondly, Grumman solved this riddle with the most sophisticated piece of equipment - human in the back :P. Don't forget that RIO also have controls for VSL (not PAL or PLM though) and I think it was actually RIO who was activating them on command of pilot, who simply focused on just flying. The most important thing is that if you want to leave the game, please land on correct airfield with spawn slot of that airframe you are flying. If you leave plane mid-air, plane is lost, if you land on airfield without spawn slot there, plane is essentially lost too (as you cant spawn there). Its not such a loss with e.g. F5 (usually 70ish airframes), but in case of like F-14A (sometimes as few as 6 per whole mission!), thats a big loss. @Alpenwolf as there are foggy (sandstorm?) conditions in Search & Destroy, is it possible to activate ICLS for supercarrier for F-14s for landing? Thanks

limited amount of "lives". Usually around 72 airframes of F5s, so that means that in one mission Blue can spawn in total only 72 times (on one specific airbase). Therefore if F5s is shotdown its lost to "Blue war effort", just like in IRL. If you run out, you cant spawn. It also applies to weapons like AA missiles or bombs, you can run out of them. You can check what each airbase have in storage on F10 map, clicking on airbase and pressing Resources on bottom left.

I had similar thing, for me it was custom kneeboard that was the problem, specifically, all planes and beacons frequencies page. Deleted that and now it works

Mistral is very capable missile and gazelle got RWR while I dont think Mi 24 have it @Alpenwolf I noticed that on Battle of Sukhumi Unleashed there are F-14Bs on Nalchik and not F-14As

I had it set to correct setting, day for day and night for night. What is mostly annoying aside laser getting stuck (have to turn it off and on to get it work - sometimes couple times needed) is that IR is getting "blinded" by fire. Seems like Auto gain is broken -
As I recall, in M2kc, A2G ordinance release method is pre-set depending on ordinance type, as it was designed that way. I don't think you can change that. You can still do bomb bus with buddy lasing using INS coordinates with BAD bombing (offset = 0, or even better slightly in front of target, GBU will glide). In manual they say GBUs are dropped in CCRP

Oh wow, are you learning startup on aircraft boneyard? But on serious note, you lack lots of equipment here no TID, no radar stick (with buttons which are highlighted here), no switches on weapons panel, completely missing left panel of DDD and much more... It didn't load properly?

As pilot TCS doesnt "lock" on STT contact and it sways, making it near impossible to ID the locked target through TCS. In the same time RIO has no problem IDing the plane

Chaff count cut short with some ALE-39 loadouts

@captain_dalan LAU is independent from ALE and adds 40 "normal" chaff (160 small ones) no matter what. Each impulse release 4 chaff (but they are 1/4 size) per launcher, so when they are on both sidewinder pylons, thats why you drop 2 "normal size" chaff in same time. @BreaKKer If anything is broken it should be L10, as R10 should always be set to C as its linked with LAU launcher. R20 then acts like "R30" working for both R10 and R20 ALE sections PS How you got 20F 30C? Did you meant 20F 40C? Hmm I did my own testing and definitely is something missing. in 50F 10C + 40C setting you get actually 48 F, so 2F short. -
Never seen this bug, in PvP where I mostly fight F-16s I only get warning when missile goes active.

@Manhorne I think it works for F-14B, but SC still sees F-14A as F-18C -
@Alpenwolf Or a trigger if red units don't spawn, kill blue units to make it fair But what possibly could causing this? Does it happen on other missions?

@Alpenwolf I asked about datalink before and you said you wait for one of the updates, as right now F2F datalink is disabled. Any chance to enable it? To do it F14 slots must be in same flight in ME

For that Swedish integrated mavericks ;), Viggen was thought as interdictor on preplanned targets anyways. And I think they used pressure as that allows them to design viggen with very fast QRA times. Viggen doesn't have "traditional" INS system as F14 or M2k but its own advanced Automatic Dead Reckoning (ADR) system and thats allow that lighting fast 2 min start up without any need for long alignment.

Can L39 even get R60M? I thought that missile is MiG29 only You can check in rearmament channel, if you manually load each station, it should tell you whats available and in what quantity Actually 2 more versions. F14A early with earlier version of RWR Dashes and lines and audio tunes are used to determ radar signals And also Iranian F14A version which has the least of toys like no external fuel tanks, no TCS camera set, and other stuff maybe even earlier weapons too
